This is exclusively regarding ordering online. They don't offer any white glove services, and my item was left out in the rain despite the fact I was home. They have you pay for a "service" called Route which has out of date information, and despite being home their delivery crew did nothing to let me know it was here. I would have rather bought from someone else who uses delivery services who aren't afraid of people than save a bit of money and use this drop it off and run away like I have lupus. read more

Be careful if you think you can order something here online and get it delivered to you by Christmas. I ordered a rowing machine on November 2 and am still waiting for a delivery date confirmation. While I did get a good price on the machine, a good price isn't particularly relevant if you never see the product you purchased. It took Treadmill Outlet a couple of weeks to get the order staged for pickup, and the transit company they are using has been unable for some reason to confirm a delivery date with us. We are located a four hour drive from the Treadmill Outlet, so this service is absolutely inexcusable. read more

Running in the time of Covid - and wildfires, power shut offs... I decided to get a treadmill during an especially bad wildfire week. Terrible air quality out; I drove over to the store. With Covid also going on, I wore a mask to go inside. The store was super spacious and I was the only one in there an hour before closing time. I tested out a few different treadmills (mask on, running for about 5 minutes each). Jerrold helped me out and gave me some great information to help me compare treadmill brands and types. I ultimately got the Horizon Fitness 7.0 AT folding treadmill and am really happy with it. In addition to getting the treadmill delivered, I got the setup service - so nice. Two guys came over and set up the treadmill, took away the boxes, and just got it ready to go so I could start using it right away. I've already run about 20 miles and am loving it. read more

In a previous review I felt I was being scammed. I am unable to edit that review. Though I was refunded, I still warn you about this business. The owner lied to me multiple times about my item being in the hands of the shipper. In the market for a treadmill, I was seriously thinking NordicTrack, but when I asked one of their phone agents how I get to try one, he told me I couldn't, but they had a great return policy if I didn't like it... uh... what? The last time I bought a treadmill was at a Sears. I was looking for a step up. In the meantime, I also was looking at the well-reviewed Matrix brand and hit them up for a quote on their website. I near-instantly received a referral to the Treadmill Outlet --an authorized dealer who immediately reached out. I was thrilled that there was a local place where I could go and put feet on the different units and get a feel for the quality of the build and the new 22" XUR touchscreens. The store was easy to get to -- on El Camino, wasn't crowded, and I parked right in front on the street. Jerrold, the salesman I emailed was there and was not only incredibly responsive, but very knowledgeable. He doesn't do any sales pressure and showed me the various differences in the T50 and T75 models -- as well as Matrix Fitness in general. We also were able to check out ellipticals and a variety of rowing machines. In the end, Jerrold made us a fantastic price for the package that was right for my family -- providing a bunch of options and responding to emails (on a Sunday night no less) to make it our order process smooth and customized to our needs. Eventually we settled on a lightly used machine at a reasonable price, which provided excellent value. I bought a treadmill back in August...not a cheap one at that. The company sent me an email when funds cleared that my order was transferred to the warehouse for shipping and that I'd get another email with tracking information. Well!!!! A week goes by and nothing...two weeks and nothing, so I contacted the company and they told me that the treadmills were on backorder and they'd notify me, as they were expecting a new shipment in any day. Two more weeks goes by, I contact the company again...they said the shipment came in and my treadmill would be shipping the last week of Sept. Ok fine. First week of Oct, I contacted the company because I had not gotten my shipping information. They said it was shipping in a few days as they had a lot of backorders. I contacted them 8 days later and they said a new shipment was coming in on Nov. 11, and I was at the top of the list. I informed them I was not on that list as I wanted to cancel my order and I want a REFUND!!! My order was canceled immediately. Seems they can cancel orders easier than fulfilling them? Jerrold is terrific. Other reviewers have said it and it's true. We bought an elliptical at the start of Covid, gave it to a relative (TO helped us move it) and just bought a treadmill to replace it. Through this, Jerrold and the folks at Treadmill Outlet have been unfailingly patient and helpful. I am aware that fitness sales tends to be scammy, but these folks seem to run an honest business. They do not carry some of the heavily advertised brands you see at Dick's and Walmart and seem to focus on more reputable and higher quality machines. Even so, they do manage to be price competitive and are very willing to work within budgets. They just seem like a reputable, quality place trying to create a loyal customer base.
