Where do I begin? Lets start with the winter storage of the boat. The boat had a canvass cover…read morewhich we secured with great care. During a storm it opened. It was not attended to by the crew who are suppose to be overlooking these boats during their storage. Not to mention the boat was parked in tall grass and reeds so- hello mice. The open canvass allowed water to collect inside; and because the boat was not stored at the correct pitch - the drainage system which would normally be effective- was not, the water remained in the hull and ruined the carpet and various other areas. Then they threw someone elses folding chairs into our hull - NOT our chairs - which were in sleeves, infested with ants. That was another clean up for us to embrace on top of water damage. Upon leaving this wreck of a marina we noticed our canvass boat cover in their dumpster with garbage thrown on top of it. What an interesting decision to make on behalf of someone elses belongings. What part of this sounds like professional or we care about your business. Zero. One star is not what I would choose but ZERO stars is not an option. However ZERO dollars is what Strongs Marine will be getting in the future.

I was not even in the car at the time. They were not interested in anything except getting me to drop the car off for repair, regardless of what that would cost, who knows how long until insurance decides to inspect it, then they get around to fixing it. Could be weeks! Meanwhile I have no car? My insurance does not include a rental car and has a large deductible. I'm a pensioner and all I was doing was putting gas in my car when it happened and all I am asking for now is an ESTIMATE of what it would cost to repair. And they're refusing. They couldn't care less. The insurance company is recommending these clowns. It may just be this particular branch, but more heartless and uncaring is hard to imagine. The called ended when they cut me off and hung up. AVOID!!

It went so far that for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary at the Fox Hollow Inn in Old Westbury, it was attended by Ranee. Herself coming from eastern Long Island, she did not have to do that. But having her there with my entire family (perhaps 100 people), including a couple that flew in from Grants Pass. It meant a lot. I'll never forget her being there for this. I like the marina, sequestered away in a quiet residential community. If you're looking for a secure marina for your vessel, this one should be considered.

We brought our Suzuki outboard engine to the Marina service department after experiencing serious…read moreissues with a brand new engine purchased overseas. Despite having less than 30 hours on it, the engine wasn't running properly--and to make matters worse, Suzuki USAproved difficult in honoring the warranty due to the engine being imported. Nick went above and beyond for us. He was diligent and persistent in communicating with Suzuki on our behalf, even when the process dragged on for several months. His patience, expertise, and determination ultimately paid off: he was able to coordinate a full replacement of the engine, which had been deemed unrepairable. We can't thank Nick and the service department enough. They truly went the extra mile, and we highly recommend their service to anyone looking for knowledgeable, committed professionals who won't give up on getting the job done right.

Once I brought my boat over to the marina I usually dealt with Vinny who is one of the nicest young man that I have met in a long time. From day one rob (manager) has been over the top helpful even going as far as going out with new boaters to show them the area. The dock hands also are helpful. And it's a refreshing change from the same old local food.
