Unfortunately the park close early this evening due to weather conditions. The ones I said ensure that all the customers left the park safely and promptly. I was with a group and we made sure we stick together and listen to all the required announcements. Call and Jade assisted me at the snack shack where they have pizza and soft serve unfortunately they did not have any software available at the time when I was there or they didn't have any pepperoni ready either they just told me 15 to 20 minutes wait. The Solar Vortex Water Slide is a high-thrill family friendly raft slide which combines high-banking rotations and rapid descents, sending sliders on a swirling journey through 2 open tailspin features. The swirly "tailspin" is like a broad funnel shooting you out into a tunnel. It's a pretty high drop so it really increases your speed. The high speed generated by the tailspin feature really amps up the ride. Lean back on the circular raft so it picks up more speed on the exit as you switch through the tailspin. My favorite feature of Solar Vortex is the 3 dynamic AquaLucent elements which harness the power of the Florida sun into colorful patterns that shine through the slide. Riders can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour which is pretty fast but not the fastest slide at the park. This slide is not super scary but more trippy and relaxing with a couple drops and twists sprinkled in. Riders must only be at least 42 inches tall, which makes it the first big water slide thrill ride for little kids. Most kids 5 or older are over 42 inches tall. Visitors can ride in the raft in parties of two or four. There is a swim up bar for adults - but it sadly was not open during our time here, and they didn't really give us any notice of it being closed (nobody had a sign saying this or came down to tell any of us). There is a fast food truck outside the pool and a bar upstairs (expensive drinks but to be expected). The adult pool area in the lagoon is a smaller size as the obstacle course takes up a majority of the pool. Overall, if you have a Groupon and are in the area, I think it's worth a visit, but if you're not in the area, I wouldn't travel really far for it.

The swimsuits were not salvageable despite numerous recommended attempts to remove the stains. When I contacted customer service, I was told the issue was not caused by the water but rather by how my hair products and our swimsuits "reacted" with it. My family has visited countless pools, water parks, and beaches over the years without ever experiencing anything like this. They also referenced their "BlueSky Guarantee" as if it were a resolution, but we already qualified for return tickets simply because our visit was cut short by the weather. No effort was made to address the damage to my hair or our belongings. I wasn't looking for reimbursement or compensation--I simply hoped they would acknowledge that something during our visit likely contributed to the damage. Instead, the response suggested the issue was with my hair products and our swimsuits rather than considering that something in the lagoon may have caused the reaction. Based on both our experience and the way it was handled, we will not be returning. (For those wondering, the rest of us had dark colored swimsuits on so I can only suspect that is why ours did not appear discolored.)

The staff on the boat is helpful and makes you feel safe. We saw a manatee and made the best memories together. He let my aunt hang on his pontoon with him and get great pics. I was able to be a spectator on the boat and helping my kids. Safe, fun, and beautiful new location!

The boat was smaller than other dolphin tour boats and he was able to maneuver so that we got an up close view of the dolphins hunting. Later, he was able to entice the dolphins to jump in the boats wake. We even saw a tiny baby! After the dolphins, we went to some sandbars to find and hold conch, crabs, and live sand dollars. Lastly, we stopped by shell beach. Throughout the trip, Bam pointed out local favorites for beaches and dining. He also answered all of our questions about the animals in the area. The Tradewinds Resort and Guy Harvey Outpost on St Pete Beach have been upraded with some very cool…read moreand different "rides". There is a giant water slide. I was told it cost $250,000 and is the largest in the world There is a straight main slide and curving side courses. You get wet. There is also a mechanical surf boarding area. Like a mechanical bull ride but you stand up an do faux surfing. The set up is for three of them side by side so you can compete to stay up or try to score the best time. One was broken when I was there.. There is also a mechanical shark on the beach. I didn't try it or get a close look. But it seems like a great idea.. Waivers are necessary for the surfing and shark. There is also a water jet pack thing you can do. And there is an a set up of small slides and inflatable climbing structures in the Gulf you can use. The mechanical shark is $4. The slide is $25 for all day. A resort activity pass is, I believe, $35. I'm not really sure what exactly it includes. The hotel has various pools (some dated and a but smallish and crowded), a sauna, live music, beach bars, and various games and activites such a making s'mores and awater balloon toss. Like I said I'm not sure what the activity pass does and doesn't include.. Some things are included with your stay. And some things cost money even if you stay.. And, as previously noted, you can do some of it with an activity pass or slide pass. Good luck.

They have a huge portion of the pool that is only 3 feet deep. But they also have swim lanes that go to 7 feet. If you live in Tampa, you can get a membership for about $30 for an individual and $50 for a family. Swim lessons cost $24 for eight 30 minute sessions. Live the Florida life and swim all year.

I went on a weekend, so…read morethere was no school traffic, but I wonder how the parking lot next to the park would be during the school week. I entered via Bird Street, but left at the Nebraska exit, and that way had potholes the size of cows in it. The part that is open is pretty as it's right along the river, with an old fashioned wooden boardwalk crossing you back and forth over the water. However, quite a bit of the path was closed off with no access. You could not enter the beautiful pavilion, and all the pathways that went from the pavilion to the Sulphur Springs pool were closed off too. I do recommend walking as far west as you can go along the path so you can see the cool Sulphur Springs Water Tower which was built in 1927. Located in a sketchy area of town, I would recommend being alert when walking here during the daylight, and avoiding at dusk and nightfall.
