My little one dealt with other kids from different cultures, and now she knows about diversity, and for me it's a BIG BLESSING. In my case, my baby didn't have any experience before in Day Care, I was so scared, but when I hear my little one singing songs, waking up every morning happy, and finishing her program more confident and enthusiastic; I can recommend this place 100% for sure. If someone at the school did speak good English they did not refer me to speak with them. The schools location is great and my child tried out one of the classes. He seemed to really like the feel of the class. Overall I was not able to enroll my child in this school due to communication and feeling like the staff did not care about my concerns. I was extremely disappointed with how me and my child's needs were handled. If you do not speak Spanish I do not think this is the school for you and your family.

My daughter is learning and socializing as you would expect in a day care which is a great thing. The room is clean and it seems the children wash their hands often, another great thing. For whom I've interacted with, staff wise, have always had a smile and/or have a pleasant greeting as I've walked through the building. There is a lunch lady that always high fives my daughter when we walk by her in the halls. The director has always been friendly while being professional. She is straight forward and quick with answers and help. They also use WatchMeGrow to be able to check on your little one with the cameras in the building and they use Tadpoles to communicate daily reports and send pictures of the students performing their curriculum. The building itself is brand new and feels that way. Clean and well maintained. The temperature in the building is always cool but not cold. Overall, for the service, it meets all what they say and what I think should be happening for my daughter and would recommend the school. We have the free half day program so I won't talk about service for the asking price. From my experience with my older daughter and searching around the prices are close or the same as any other day care I have search in the area. The last thing that I experience with and/or want to mention is getting in and out of the parking lot. Give yourself and extra 5-10 mins till you experience the traffic. This is not a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination, this is a warning if you don't travel that area, often the traffic can stop you for quite a bit.

Her passion and compassion along with her genuine love for all the little ones is undeniable! Our son has attended the school for almost 3 years now. We feel so blessed that his first experience with formal education has been at Growing Minds. The teachers follow Mrs. Ansari's vision and have worked alongside her for years, (which is so rare nowadays) and makes such a difference! Being a Montessori School, our son has consistently had the same teacher: Mrs. Carattini. We could not be more grateful for how loving, patient, gentle, nurturing and caring she is. She isn't just a daycare, she is family. She loves all of her kids attending her daycare like they are family, and that love extends to the families as well. My son used to go to Kiddie Academy, and was sick every weekend. Since he has been enrolled in Carpio daycare, he has NEVER come home sick from her house. The level of cleanliness quality that she upholds is better than any chain daycare. She is the most affordable daycare I know of, and the value she provides to her children is above par! My family and I were very disappointed with our experience when trying to schedule a school tour…read more As Deaf parents, we simply asked The First Academy to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter so we could fully understand the information being shared during the tour. Despite multiple emails and opportunities to reconsider, the school declined to provide an interpreter. Instead, we were told to rely on written communication, tablets, and "extra time," which are not effective or equitable substitutes for real-time ASL access. This does not provide meaningful communication for Deaf adults, especially during an important process like evaluating a potential school for our children. We were also told we could "bring our own interpreter," which shifts the burden of accessibility onto families rather than meeting basic inclusion standards. We left the interaction feeling that the school was not prepared to support the communication needs of Deaf parents. Accessibility should not be optional, and it should not depend on families paying out-of-pocket to participate. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and re-evaluates its approach to serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing families in the future.

They take concerns seriously, and know each child by name. AfterClass allows time for children to complete homework so they don't have to do it at home, and the teen assistants will even help them if they need it. But the kids' favorite part is getting to play at Skyzone! They also get outdoor playground time depending on the day and weather, as well as occasional movie days to mix things up. There are shuttles that visit local schools for pick up to bring them to Skyzone (where AfterClass is based). It's worth checking out if you're in need of after care.
