If I lived in Wisconsin, I would really consider this shop for buying a butchered hall/full cow (Angus) or half/ full pig. The animals are raised by local families. Including the shop owners. The Blair Meat Market onsite butcher facilities are inspected daily by USDA. The shop is just neat. Some of their meat cuts are available in the cold case for purchase. I personally think the prices are fair for the quality of meat products available. They sell their own flavored beef sticks and summer sausages, with plenty of yummy samples available. I think I liked the Dill Pickle and Sweet Teriyaki BBQ flavored sticks the best. We were going to a softball game afterwards. A packet of the meat sticks is an excellent game snack for eating and sharing. A local man makes very nice cutting boards and cooking woodies, and they can be bought at the meat market. I bought several. Maybe they will become gifts. Maybe I'll selfishly keep them. Make a trip to this store, or call to place your big meat order. Very worthwhile!
