I think the categories may not accurately reflect Treats & Ting. It's a casual and welcoming sit-down cafe, serving pastas, paninis, salads, and baked deliciousness.
AND IT'S SO GOOD. AND SO INEXPENSIVE. It's crazy it's not busier.
Everything is made in house. I ordered a jerk chicken panini which came with a small salad, for takeaway. I devoured the panini and wished I had ordered two.And I scarfed up the salad - which, while simple, was really yummy.
I'm making myself write this review before I eat the Victoria sponge cake I got for dessert, so I'm not a disgusting glutton that finishes the meal in 3 minutes.
(Total for the panini, the small salad, and the cake: £8. And again, it's all made in-house and with a clear desire to build a successful restaurant.)
The bus home from work drops me essentially right in front of the shop, and I'm ruing the fact that I didn't stop in earlier.
(I also learned that the owner does a deal where you can work from the cafe during the day. For £6 you get all the coffee/tea your body can handle, and wifi. For £12.50 you get the coffee/tea, an entree, and the wifi. That's amazing.)
I hope this place gets a bit more notice from the neighborhood. It's incredibly deserving. read more
