When I called and said I needed an inspection quickly, they were extremely understanding and cooperative; I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. During the inspection itself, Scott awed me with his knowledge and his ability to relay it to a layperson like me. He was knowledgeable not only about trees, but also about tree laws and regulations. He's funny and folksy, but underneath that, he's also smart and incisive -- like the stereotypical "simple country lawyer," except he's a "simple country certified arborist." He identified all the trees, and he gave me crucial advice about how to protect and maintain them. Most important, he identified risks and issues that the trees presented. His fee was extremely reasonable -- indeed, cheap in comparison to the value of his services.
