THEN I CALLED PEST Rx. (It was very late afternoon by this time) Chad from Pest Rx said he'd be there by "9AM tomorrow", after first making sure the critters were not IN the house. Next AM, arrived on time, sprayed the powdered chemical in the places where he could see them entering THREE TIMES, to make sure he was getting it in deep enough, and came into the house between sprays to listen at the wall. When we heard the crazy buzzing in the wall after #3, he was satisfied he got them all. All of this cost $50 to $150 LESS than the prices I was given by any of the other places I called, and NO MORE YELLOW JACKETS! (The buzzing was weird, but as it got quieter and then stopped, I felt a whole lot safer and happier.) It's been at least 2 weeks, and there are NO yellow jackets swarming around the nest location. I will ALWAYS call PEST Rx first. Not only did he do the job the first time, but he checked back with me by phone the next day to make sure it was all good. They very efficiently scheduled an appointment for the next day (they squeezed us in). They dispatched a young men named RHAZEL WRIGHT who is an incredibly nice young man who knows the business of pest control. He explained what he was going to do and what to expect. He treated inside the house and inspected around the exterior of our home. He found the location where the ants were coming from and applied a treatment. We have had a problem with Meal Moths. We contacted Fox as we already have a contract with them…read moreafter finding wasp nests in our garage two summers ago. Trevor came out, promptly, on May 12th, and put traps in likely spots. The traps caught some moths, but we still saw one or two fly through the living room almost nightly. Jonathan came out right away, on May 30th. He checked the traps and then helped us go through our pantry. Luckily there are not many things in our pantry that are susceptible to a moth infestation(mostly jars, not boxes of foods). Jonathan explained, in lay details, about this particular moth. We took all dry products, put them in ziplock bags and then into the freezer for 48 hours. Other than exactly one moth that flew by just after Jonathan left, we have not seen another. Thank you to Fox and Jonathan for beating this problem.

He went through our pantry (cake mixes, seasoning, dry pastas) and found the source. After throwing that out he told us what and where to clean to get rid of their nesting places. Very friendly guy, very helpful. So far we haven't spotted any more moths.
