They did an amazing job taking out my laurel, dropped it just right to avoid a tricky power feed to my garage, got everything done in an hour, cleaned up after themselves, and did a little extra chain sawing for me in the front! I had three trees in my backyard that needed to come out and these guys did a great job: - free estimate on MY schedule - called back within 2 hours of my leaving a message that day - emailed confirmation the day before the appointment to remind me - offered to cut and leave firewood w/o my having to ask - their stump grinder was broke, but they kept me updated until it was fixed and they could finish the job. - both guys I worked with were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the job. They did sloppy work and then didn't clean up. They left piles and piles of logs all over our yard. They work to time not for quality. They didn't complete the bid that we were told "shouldn't be a problem" to complete in the 7 hours they bid for. To elaborate they bid for 7 hours of work, as contractors, and they took an hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks that they took out of our time. That's not how contracts work. Wish we paid the extra $250 for a more professional service that would have done. Go elsewhere unless you want to file a CCB complaint. read more

Worst experience ever! I don't like giving a bad review but my experience with this company was terrible and I don't want anyone to go through what we did. They were extremely unprofessional, failed to show up to complete the job so many times and always full of bad excuses. We had a large fir tree that needed to be removed. What should have been a three day job at most ended up four weeks! Our backyard was unusable all of July because they couldn't seem to finish the job they started. They also destroyed several bushes by dropping half the tree right across the yard. They broke another large bush in half with a falling section. They never acknowledged the damage, offered to make recompense or even said they were sorry. We had cleared a large area around the tree to avoid damage to plants but they ruined things anyway! I've spent hours raking and cleaning up debris because they didn't bother to clean up at all. read more

I had a very large tall tree in my back yard that had a big branch break and crack the trunk of the tree almost to the ground. They sent someone out to look at it within 45 min. They quoted me two prices, less if I paid cash and more if it was a check. The person they sent could not tell me if they took credit cards. They said they would come back possibly that evening or for sure at 9am the following morning. By 10:30 am I had heard nothing and so I started calling other tree removal services for estimates as this tree most definitely has to be removed before it falls on my neighbors house. I had three emails already from Tree Musketeers to set up and confirm the appointment...so I emailed them back, let them know that their guy never showed up or called and that I was not available to sit around all day to wait and see if they were showing up. This was last Saturday. I have not recieved one phone call or email in response....until after 5pm today (Tuesday) when two guys show up at my door saying they are here to take down the tree. I said no thank you, I will be going with someone else. This is horrible business and horrible customer service. If I'm paying $1000 for a tree to be removed I expect clear communication and follow through. Not two random dudes knocking at my door in the evening. read more

A totally professional tree service company that did an outstanding job for the trees in the backyard. They cleaned up immediately after each cutting and left the yard looking excellent. The trees were cut with about 70% of the limbs removed and they look excellent now. I called them to remove 3 trees, which they did in early August.Great price, good work however When they had a problem with their chipper, they borrowed 2 wrenches. I had to go to work so they said they would leave the tools on our doorstep, when we came home, there was only 1 wrench on the front porch. After a few follow up calls they agreed to replace the missing wrench, I sent them a link to a reasonably pricec replacement on amazon and told where they were available locally, then nothing. They turned a great review into a never use them again over a $20 tool. Don't loan them any tools! Just call someone else read more

Our relationship started off rocky, but is now on a firm foundation. The work that was completed is amazing, I love looking at my trees now and the dead branches are no longer falling on my car and around the yard. They are coming back to trim more trees this week and I am so glad I choose this company to do the work. They are efficient and the crew doing the work is polite and even cleaned up the little pieces of tree on the ground. The one stump removal was interesting to watch and looks GREAT! These guys did a fantastic job on our super old Flowering Cherry tree that had been improperly trimmed and neglected for decades. I spoke to Lenny over the phone. He emailed me a quote. I agreed and approved it electronically. The crew came out. They were quick. Efficient. And asked if I had any areas of concern before they started. I highly recommend the Tree Musketeers Tree Service. The crew is absolute hard working professionals. Jason and his team took down two huge trees in two days, moved it to the street, chipped/loaded, and hauled away. Our situation was two large Douglas fir trees in our backyard with limited access to the street. Everything had to be done without the bucket truck, and then hauled out to the street. I received bids from multiple companies, and selected Tree Musketeers because Lennie offered great solutions, a competitive bid, and addressed every issue/concern I had. All the other companies provided bids to cut the tree down and leave the wood in place. Lennie's bid included coordinating the wood removal with a local organization that specializes in firewood; I didn't have to do anything! They showed up and Lennie's crew cut down the trees, and simultaneously removed the wood as an integrated team with the firewood crew. Both crews completed the work on time and did a great job cleaning up. read more

They just cleaned up a downed tree from winter storms today. This tree was laying on a chain link fence and the tree itself was all nasty branches covered in thorns. Other than the leftover logs we asked them to cut up for firewood, there is no evidence they were here today. By that I mean, they clean up every branch, twig, stick, and sawdust! I would not recommend Tree Musketeer's. Lenny (the owner) is a very poor listener and a worse communicator. He talks when he should be listening. Even his own crew called him a "used car salesman" who has never climbed a tree and tends to overpromise because of his lack of knowledge of how much time it takes to complete a job well. As a result my job didn't get done right. The crew that showed up hadn't been told what I expected, they didn't do what I asked, and they weren't able to complete the job in the time I was told or the quote I was given. My stump didn't get ground up, my oak tree didn't get finished, and my maple tree never even got touched. They also damaged my rain gutter and marred up the side of my house dragging limbs across my yard. Lenny says that for $900 more they can finish the job I was originally promised they would do correctly the first time for $1500. I don't want these "amateurs" anywhere near my yard again. read more

I received a quote in January 2016 to remove a large silver maple (4' in diameter) and to grind the stump. Tree Musketeers let me know at the time that the tree was not in danger of coming down, so this didn't need to be done right away. The tree has continued to deteriorate, so I decided that it would be best to take it down now. I asked Lenny to update the quote assuming that the cost might have gone up and knowing that this is their busy time of year. I let Lenny know that I'm in no hurry and anytime in the next couple months is ok. Lenny did not respond when he said he would and failed to return many phone calls and e-mails. Finally, over a week later, I received a quote by e-mail. The price had gone up by 255%!!! This can't be right, so I responded to the e-mail to verify that this was not a mistake. No response. I called Lenny, but have yet to receive a response. I've tried to call again and there is still no answer and his voicemail box is full. By all of the positive reviews, I expected much better from Tree Musketeers. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! read more
