When we first moved in (2001) there were actually two sycamores, this main one and and smaller (not much smaller) one that grew up to the bottom of the canopy on the main one and then grew out over our neighbor's driveway. Within a year of us moving in we had Rod's take the second tree down. Alex and the team are awesome to work with, do the work for a fair cost and are always thorough trimming as well as thorough cleaning up. So much debris over our yard, both neighbors and in the street. All cleaned up as if they were never here. What I also like, is that the team seems to really like their work and like working with each other. Everyone is in a good mood and they are laughing and joking with each other. I don't know how those guys climb into the tree so high. It would scare the crap out of me. But, they get up the branches and have their chain saws hanging from their belts. Awesome! After many unsuccessful attempts of hiring a hardscape contractor, Saloman arrived punctual to provide an estimate for my backyard project. He completed the work timely as promised and left the entire area better than he found it. Impressed with the backyard hardscape, we asked him to start on our front yard. As expected, Saloman is a true artist that loves his work. Unlike previous contractors, he meticulously trimmed and shaped our palm trees without damaging the trees or any surrounding plants. Also, he even cleaned our roof that was full of debris. The most impressive thing about Saloman is that he works on each project with such care and attention to detail as though it's his own house. Most are uninsured, which creates a real liability, and most are charging surprisingly high prices. North County Tree, on the other hand, is 100% professional. They have certified arborists, proper licensing, and full insurance coverage. Even more surprising, their pricing consistently comes in at about half of what some of the fly-by-night crews were quoting. He sent me a video of the area after he was done and I payed him online. Easy and no hassle. One note is that he didn't haul away the tree since he didn't have space in his van so my green waste will be full for two weeks while it gets thrown out in batches. Not too much of a big deal but something to be aware of if you have a bigger job.

I had an unsightly tree stump in my front yard that I wanted removed. I am a "git 'r done" kind of…read moreguy and normally do things like this myself; however, I thought I would just see what someone would charge me to do this for me. I called around to 4 or 5 places and of those, My Tree Experts were the only ones to respond at all. Their response was timely as well. I arranged for an estimate and the guy showed up on time. He was very professional and gave me a quote that was far less than I thought it would be. The price was completely reasonable, so we came to an agreement and scheduled them for 2 days out. Their crew showed up on time and were also very professional. No joke, the majority of the crew left 15 minutes after they started as they bulk of the stump was gone and they had removed the wood chips and cleaned up. The guy on the stump grinder stayed to finish doing his part, including grinding a few feet outside of where the stump came out of the ground. This was done to make sure I had level ground where it had previously been raised by the roots. He even packed down the area for me. I just couldn't be more pleased with their work and level of professionalism. I highly recommend this company!
