We did some reserach in trying to find the best custom sauna builder / manufacturer for our home in a remote mountain town 90 min west of Denver. We believe we found the best guy in Colorado and maybe entire west to build our dream sauna. Kaleb showed patience, effort, great communication, and professionalism trhoughout our brief time working with him. The end product was more than we could dream of and we especially liked the fact that he was able to convert our first choice location in house of a small closet into an incredible custom sauna. I've always had a positive experience at Tall Grass and was surprised by their negativity. Maybe they were having a bad day but it was enough to sour our special day. I attempted to reach Melissa, the manager to relay what happened. She emailed me once but never followed up or called. Sadly, we haven't been back to Tall Grass. It's a wonderful place and I hope this was just a one off-bad day but the lack of responsiveness is surprising.

Michelle, my exquisite Golf cart tour guide drove me and another couple around and kind of pointed out some of the trailheads and amenities. Surprisingly, there are quite a few miles of trails all around the property. Unfortunately the clouds came in and thoughts of going for a hike quickly were disbanded. I didn't plan accordingly with my own food, so I ended up leaving and going out and grabbing a sub and a couple of adult beverages then rode In and parked...and "disrobed".....wow....no big deal!... Nonetheless, they have plenty of beverages and food there. Just not adult beverages. So there I was, what's a what's a naked guy going to do? Head to the pool of course,! And so I did, and chatted with a couple that stayed there the night before after the Tedeski &Trucks show at Red Rocks last night. Overall everyone was pleasant and very communicative. A wide array of people attend MAR,... young and old alike. Sure there were some kids around.... most had clothes on and they kind of went off and did their own thing for the most part. overall, a great intro to MAR.... not sure how often I'll find myself there, but it certainly was a good experience.

Initially, I was so impressed by this facility, but in the past year things have started to…read moredecline. The staff can be rude and extremely condescending. We have two small children, still in diapers, and the family changing room is either filled with single people showering or beyond filthy. We pulled the changing table down one day to discover mouse droppings on it. When I informed the front desk, i was told there's nothing they could do about it as they were understaffed. This was the same response when I mentioned waiting 10 minutes for a shower with my kids when they are clearly being used by those without children. The hot tub has been closed numerous times in the past 6 months and when I called recently to ask before we visited the Pool, another stellar response was "It's open now, but knowing your luck it will be closed by the time you get here." The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the Pool is ideal for my younger children and the lifeguards are always very kind to them. We're pretty disappointed to say the least about the front desk staff as well as family changing room and will start visiting and spending our money at another facility.

Then out of nowhere where the weather flipped from 90 degrees and sunny/hazy to cold, rain and thunderstorms! What surprised me the most was how much rain dumped from the sky and cold it was out. I was almost completely drenched from rain and wearing Jean shorts. I was freezing and wet. My daughter and husband were soaked too but somehow neither of them get cold.. anyway I found Indian Hot Springs and begged my family to go so I could hop in a hot tub and get warm. My husband skipped the pool and got a message they had a last minute opening and my daughter and I went swimming in the springs. It's was perfect. Not too hot not too cold. Perfect activity to do on a surprise rainy day. They provided towels and even had a gift shop to buy swim suits if u didn't bring one. There was soft music playing and it made for a very chill and relaxing vibe. It was so nice floating in a hot spring while listening to the rain drops on the roof and soft thundering. Literally the most perfect solution to a rainy day. My husband enjoyed his massage and everyone was happy. They saved the day!
