I walked down from Voo Doo donuts with my dragon in tow. It was farther than I expected, but it was well worth the walk. TreeHouse Collective is clean. Upon entry, it is very spartan, the anteroom that you enter is utterly tidy with a wonderful receptionist who checked my ID and made sure it was clear for us to go back. The impression was that they don't do big crowds in the offering room. They have an amazing selection of flower, resins, crackle, pearl, oils and other things that make the use of weed helpful and pleasurable. Some of the pipes were hand blown and absolute works of art. There budtenders were absolutely fantasticly friendly and very, very helpful. If I had a question they were happy to answer it. If there was a product that I was unaware of, they were more than ready to explain what it was about and go over the use and why I should want to try it. I left with a better knowledge of weed and what I was purchasing. If I lived in the PDX area I would truly be a regular. read more

My friend and I stopped in together - it was my first time and his second. We both had ID but since my drivers license had expired I was not allowed to go in the back with my friend. The woman behind the glass partition in the front did not acknowledge me or attempt to be friendly or helpful. If I had questions I had to call my friend who was still in the back. We had to figure out all the answers to our questions (which was fine since I had time to kill I did some research online on a few different flower strains they had). We were ready to pick something out and leave. I had just one quick question I needed to have answered before we paid for our chosen product. I wanted to know if the flower they recommended was sativa or indica and if a hybrid, what percentage was sativa. Incidentally, they were out of the flower we originally came in to buy so they recommended a different strain which they said was similar. When I looked it up, it was definitely not similar which resulted in them recommending a second strain. No where on their menu does it say if their different flowers are sativa or indica or hybrid. I called my friend who was still in the back room and asked if he could ask the sales person who was there with him. My friend asked the guy if he could take a minute to speak to me on the phone (he could also have opened the door to speak to me directly). The sales guy refused to speak to me on the phone or in person. To be clear, my question was, "Is this strain sativa or indica or hybrid and if hybrid what percentage is sativa?" If you work at a dispensary and refuse to answer such a simple basic question, I would venture to say you're in the wrong business. I will not be going back to this venue. read more

My favorite dispensary for flower. I love the people who work here. They are not only extremely friendly, but if you ask about what kind of flower you want to get, they'll be what few budtenders are: transparent. Do they have a batch of something from a high tier farm but it's not that good? They'll let you know. Do they have something cheaper that smokes better? They'll let you know. That's so damn appreciated. As someone who smokes frequently and cares about the quality of meds he's smoking, I'm always blown away and impressed by what I get from THC. They also usually give off $5 coupons which is super dope. Honestly, nothing bad to say about this place. Weed is well priced too. For people who say that top tier weed is expensive, that's literally just how it is. You have to pay good money to get the best quality. read more

Stopped by because I was in Portland. (Usually in the Washington side) Friendly staff, knowledgeable. Flower wasn't great by any means. Got one of the top shelf strains and one of the lesser quality also. Have been here numerous times because this place has great top-shelf weed with good prices. only expensive weed here is their Resin Ranchers selection but to be fair most places that have Resin Rancher cannabis sell it steep because thats the caliber of growers they are. They also always have deals and will give you discounts the more you buy and on certain days (i think thursday?) they take $5 off eighths of their $15g selection which is the notch below the $17/g Resin Ranchers buds (which are all worth the price btw because wizards work grow there.) Nice staff and products. This is a cash only business, which in 2018 is extremely inconvenient. There is a ATM which says it will charge $3.50 fee for the privilege, which is extortion , but you are stuck. When I look at the bank statement, there are not one, but two service fee charges from the Collective. $3.50 and $2.50. So, they charged me $6.00 to purchase a $30.00 product. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I am sure a phone call would not change this outcome. This is a terrible way to get repeat customers. Cash is a hassle and then you gouge people at the ATM. read more

Instead of being rushed or hustled out, the bud tenders take time to chat, share their experiences, and let you know what's what. Wet weed!! This was my all-time favorite spot. They always have a great selection of oils and herbs. You pay a little bit more there, but you always know it's good quality. It's really nice to not have to sift through the BS. But a week ago i bought a quarter of elephant ears and it was a little bit moist, Just a little bit, but it did strike me as odd considering they have a billboard for the strain out front. The herb tasted great so I went back a week later to buy another quarter. This time, the weed was wet. Like, wetter than any weed I have bought since high school 20 years ago. I am guessing that the herb is about 40 to 50% water( so wasted $$ and potentially could end up moldy if you don't know THE DEAL). And when you pay $86 for a quarter these days you definitely do not expect that. I really can't believe that my favorite weed shop sold me a wet quarter. It is a really shady thing to do. And honestly, there is no way that they did not know about it. It is very obvious that it's still wet! read more

This place is rad. It's a funky zipper location on Sandy with a large billboard on the roof heralding the terminus of Portland's 'Green Mile', which I assume refers to the dozen or so other dispensaries right up the street. An elegant welded sign hangs above the door that hints of excessively classy hippie things inside. Dude behind the counter in the very spacious entrance room is friendly and he buzzes me into the main room. It's very well organized, on a different level than most places I've been to in town. First off, they have a separate room for medical-only products which I've not seen at any other dispensary. This makes looking at prices way less confusing. Display cases look great - especially nice for viewing the assortment of tasty-looking concentrates. The looking/smelling experience is as good as it gets. Medium-sized glass jars with twist-off plastic tops full of lush bud, ready to stick under your nose and a large lighted magnifying glass. Very pro. It's amazing that so few dispensaries do this. Moving on, the quality of strains is truly insane here. There were like six different strains from Resin Ranchers alone, which tells you something. Pretty much every strain on their flower menu would likely have been by far the best flower at any other dispensary. Top-shelf and beyond. My budtender, Zach, was very cool, helpful, and well-informed about random things I asked about. He even hooked me up with a bonus joint, too, on top of what were already extremely reasonable prices. Best shop in Portland! Love the selection of concentrates, flower, and edibles. Prices are lower than any other place I've been, considering the quality. Concentrates: Ridiculous selection, and I have never been disappointed with a gram that a budtender recommended. Always seem to get the best stuff in the city from the best extractors. Been loving the live resin and nug run. Flowers: Best top shelf selection I have seen. Ive been to spots with more variety, but they are mostly just jar after jar of crap that smells like blue dream. Treehouse has the real strains and the best growers. Calyxes is also great, but I like having the choice of different farms that they have at Treehouse. Edibles: Again, best selection I have come across. As a medical patient, sometimes edibles are the only thing that helps, and I have tried a bunch that they offer here, almost always with great results. Monday I believe is when they have a special, which is when I try to stock up. They carry Dirty Arm Farm Sizzurp, which is my all time favorite edible/tincture! Service: Love the budtenders here - always friendly and chill and able to answer questions about the products. I believe the owners are normally there as well and have been able to help me out when I have a random question or issue. I like that the medical room is separate, gives a nice exclusive feel without having to be crowded by recreational customers. Recreational: I have brought a bunch of friends in that dont have OMMP cards, and pretty much all of them became regular customers too. I am not as familiar with that side, but my friends are all about it and said the prices and quality are better than any other place they have tried.
