I had a great overall experience with the Treeium team and would highly recommend them. A small water leak in the bathroom wall somehow turned into a full bathroom and kitchen remodel. Yeah...don't ask... We had a lot of trepidation about embarking on a remodel given our past experiences with contractors. We interviewed several companies and landed on Treeium. One of the key things that we were paying attention to was if the contractors were on time for the initial consultation appointment. You would be surprised how many of them were late...not a good sign. Eitan and Shelly were actually a few mts ahead of ahead of time for the initial appointment...great start. Eitan and Shelly were very professional, took their time and made us very comfortable. Eitan clearly knows what he is doing and gave us a lot of confidence. Price wise, they were in the middle of the range of quotes that we got but given how stressful a remodel can be, dependability and professionalism were as important as price and we chose Treeium. It was totally worth it. The actual remodel went off great and we are super happy with the results! Shelly was our project manager and is AMAZING. Requested an estimate for some work to be done on the outside of the house. After 30 minute of discussing the work to be done and walking around the house he sat us down to talk. Without writing anything down or giving us a real quote he just threw out the number $30,000 for the job. I asked for a written quote to justify this price and was told I would get one in a few days. So after 2 weeks with no quote or followup of any kind I called the company number. They assured me that I would hear back within a couple days with a written estimate. Ronnie called me back and could not remember anything about the project or even that he was at my house. After reminding him of the work to be done he said he remembered coming out, but did not know that we wanted a quote. Why do you think I met with you and asked for an estimate?. With a project as big as this I want something to justify why I am spending the money. Thinking back to some electrical work I had done from a different company for under $1000. The electrician came out and gave me an honest and justified written estimate. The price was higher than other electricians quoted, but I was happy to pay for the better service. If Treeium is going to charge premium prices then they should provide premium service. Service should be good from start (first time we meet) to finish of the project, not only after I give you a $30,000 check. read more

The carpenter was working without plans and we learned that it was the first time he ever installed cabinets! We were told the project would take two months, and it has been over a year. I overpaid by 11,000, because I personally paid for the cabinets that Treeium was supposed to pay for and I never received that money back. The Intake for the AC was rerouted and is now right above the refrigerator with a vent that is 1/3 the size it needs to be. A bathroom pipe was punctured during the installation of the pantry drawers and we had to pay for the mistake. The sub-contractor was fired mid project. My husband and I were caught in the middle and informed if we let the sub-contractor in to do anything our contract is null and void. Rafi, the project manager, came and changed the door lock at 7:00 in the morning. Because of this improper plumbing the sink has started to leak and we are un-able to use our kitchen sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher. 2) Improper location and size of intake vent for AC/Heater - The air-intake vent for the AC and Heater was moved during the remodel. We started having problems with our A/C/Heater unit shortly after Treeium was finished and we called in an A/C/Heater professional to come in an clean the unit. He checked out the in-take vent and the location of it and he said it was way too small and the unit will over heat. It was moved a location directly above the refrigerator and the size of the air-intake vent was cut in half. There are two problems with the relocation and size. 1) because the air in-take vent is above the refrigerator, it is giving the thermostat an incorrect reading and causing the unit to work overtime. We did not use the unit for heating this winter due to these problems, but my main concern is no A/C this summer. 3) Pantry Drawers not level and keep opening up: We are unable to close the sliding door of the pantry because the drawers open up and it locks the door shut. Once the door is locked shut from the open drawers it takes a long screw driver to push back the drawer so we can open the sliding door. 4) NuHeat Flooring: The flooring is not giving of even heat. 5) Tile Floors Never Cleaned and Sealed 6) 4 X 2 inch Hole in drywall. I was looking here for a remodeling company for my home and found Treeium with hundreds of good reviews. I asked to talk to the owner before they send me an estimator, the owner (Moty) returned my call that same day and listened to my needs. He surely understood my concerns and sent out the next day the right person for the job. The project manager Lior Lazarov.. (I'm not sure of his last name) showed up 20 minutes before our appointment and kept being prompt every following appointment. Lior spent time and again in each appointment, describing and explaining the remodeling process, the needs and requirement as well as showing me what's worth investing in and what is a waste of money... Lior also provided me with an extensive estimate/bid in writing. I had 2 other bids from other reputable contractors and although Treeium was not the lowest, I felt confident in them and asked Lior to start the project the next Monday! Unfortunately and for my own personal reasons, I had to postpone the job for now. Lior gracefully understood and wished me well with my issues.... Santa here, I am not sure how they stay in business. Had them recommended to us by the home advisory service to find quality at a good value. Wow, they came out to my building where I had siding coming off the stair case on the outside of my building. It is a relatively simple job. They wouldn't touch it. The excuse was not enough profit, not a big enough job. Basically we cherry pick all our jobs. He went on to tell my friend that if we let them do the cement in the back yard about 400 square feet, they would do it. Great you would think. Here is the rub. They want $10,000 for pouring 7.7 cubit yards of concrete including 5% for spillage. About $1k of concrete and another $1.5k for framing. This is South Bay not Atherton! I will just have other people do it to get a reasonable value and not get ripped. Lump of coal, bah humbug. I feel better now. See you at Christmas. Ho Ho Ho. read more

Well I don't usually write such a positive review however I have to say I've never had such a positive experience with any company. Representatives Ginadi and Asaf arrived on time and instantly put us at ease, it felt like we were meeting new friends. Honestly. We made our way back to my project area (10' X 12' external office) where Ginadi instantly noticed the potential issues with the space and foundation. It turns out all of my concerns are far too alarmist as they recommended alternate solutions for much, much less time and money than I had originally thought. Their total honesty took me by surprise and was such an amazing change of pace for me; I never once felt like I was being sold anything. I honestly kind of didn't want to them to leave. Both Asaf and Ginadi were charming and seemed genuinely interested in hearing our issues or concerns about our project ideas. We ended up spending a fair amount of time talking about totally unrelated things which was great. It's nice to feel trusting of a company. I know that if I have any additions or structural issues in my house they are the only company I will be calling. Thanks guys! read more

Rafael was prompt to respond and we set up an initial appointment. Contrary to other contractors, he gave suggestions and ideas on how to improve our project, save costs, and most importantly transition into an energy efficient home. Our second appointment, Rafael came with Guy Katz to iron out the details of the project. We covered every single detail (cost, timeline, etc) it's very scary on the huge project we are undertaking but we take comfort in the fact that Rafael is in charge. Treeium siphoned the money we gave them for themselves. We spent $12,000 on our deck and they provided about $50 worth of work in the form of 2 wood planks about 1' long and some replacement screws for existing joists. That was just the beginning. We went with Treeium because they provided us with financing for our project, but we got scammed and they kept the money for themselves and didn't provide really very much in the way of quality. read more

To start out if I could give 0 stars, I would! DO NOT USE TREEIUM!!!!!!! Treeium is only for you if you want poor quality and hideous work for an outrageous price! On top of that expect rude contractors that argue with you at every turn. Shortly after we were married, we looked into finding a contractor to renovate the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Treeium was highly rated and reviewed by Home Advisor and Yelp. We met the contractor, Raz Frenkel, and he seemed trustworthy and like he was listening to what we wanted, but were we wrong! He presented us with the contract which seemed to list all of the requests that we had and all of the pictures that he showed us from previous jobs looked like quality work so for the $72,200 we were expected to pay for the project, we hoped for beautiful, quality work! Were we wrong! To start out be forewarned, all finished products are extra on top of that price that you are going to pay. There were a few mistakes that the team made that they were able to remedy such as throwing away our toilets when we had stated from the beginning that we wanted to keep our original toilets since we would be paying for so many other finished materials. On the other hand, there were many mistakes made that were not fixed! The individuals on the Treeium team did not know how to cut straight, hang cupboards correctly, or keep the grout where it was supposed to be. We have found grout on the ceiling, the walls, the floors, and many other places that it should not be.  The project started at the end of November 2016 and according to them was done before their deadline in originally scheduled in February. We sent pictures to Raz of the things that we were not happy with, but many of the things were still not corrected. We reached out to management in Treeium. They came out and did a walk through. The management told us to make another list of the things that we wanted fixed and that it would be fixed by a new team. ANOTHER LIE!!!! We had the same team come into our home on two Saturdays expecting to complete all of their mistakes. We wanted the cupboards hung straight; we wanted the wall replaced between the cupboards because they had punched a screw through so it had a pucker; we wanted them to fix the crookedly hung shower curtain rod; we wanted the toilets straightened; we wanted the backsplash in the kitchen fixed since it stuck out and the trim around did not meet the counter like it should (they filled in extra space with more grout); we wanted the gaps fixed in the baseboards in the closet so that we could not see the padding under the floor and ugly texture of the wall; we wanted the wall texture to be fixed around the bathroom vanities; we wanted the threshold fixed by the front door.  They attempted to fix a few of these items, but the other ones they abandoned along with their huge mess on our balcony. They stated that they could not fix the curtain rod without either leaving extra holes in the tile that would be filled with grout or actually redoing the entire shower. Since we had moved back into our home by this time because we had been out for 3 months, we did not want to have the entire shower ripped out especially after seeing their other craftsmanship. They were able to hang the cupboards straight, but they still managed not to put the soft closing hinges in the all of the doors. We still have 2 doors that slam closed. They replaced the wall portion between the cupboards, but they still seemed to not cut it straight and they put a tacky, thick amount of white grout along the wall and the granite countertop. They chipped out the old backsplash where it was really bad and lined it up with the countertop. You would hope that it would get better, but NOPE! It actually looked worse and then they managed to get lumps of grout on the newly painted walls. They decided to hide their badly cut granite countertop and backsplash by painting the white grout the color of the wall. The walls around the vanities showed where the previous vanity was. It took one of the members of the team at least 3 times to work on smoothing out the wall and adding texture back in. If only they had fixed the wall before putting in the vanity, then they wouldn't have such a hard time getting to the wall. If you look throughout our home, there are many places where the old items were removed and you can still see the outline of those items such as the towel rack outline of where the old one hung. read more

I am not sure where to even begin with this update. These people lie...constantly. They are all constantly contradicting what the other one said. They are incredibly quick to throw their teammates under the bus. Our house has been sitting empty for 3 weeks with no progress. David (our PM), has blamed this on mistakes that the project engineer made...and now he says that the project engineer is dragging his feet to correct the problems. How is that my problem? If this is truly the case, then this should not be an employed project engineer in my opinion. However, I feel that if this was a priority for David, it would have been done. When signing the contract and selling us the project, they said that all costs that were found as work was being done would be covered by them...this has definitely not been the case. They threw out wood floors that were agreed to be reused, and said that they were unable to because they were ruined in demo. Then the story changed to they were too thin to be refinished, but they got rid of them before even discussing this. They initially said we would need to be out for 2 weeks. Then once they finally said "we need you out next week" it was for 6-8 weeks. We have been out for 7 1/2 weeks, and very minimal progress has taken place...then 2 weeks ago they said "SURPRISE! You can't come home until September or October". Their main office takes weeks to get a response back, even after admitting that they have done a poor job of managing this project...assuming they answer your e-mail at all. This company is such a joke...I highly suggest going elsewhere unless you enjoy living in a hotel for 6 months, and being lied to 98% of the time. I am pretty confident that I have heard more lies than truth from this company. I was really hoping that after they realized (and openly admitted) that they had been doing such a poor job at managing this project, that they would step their game up and try to wow us and leave us with a not so terrible experience...unfortunately they have decided to continue poor project management and the experience only gets worse by the day. I would certainly NEVER recommend to any family or friends. **EDITED TO ADD: Since posting on Yelp I have received messages from 2 other parties that have not reviewed Treeium. The reason they have not reviewed - they have had to seek legal council based on Treeium doing the same things listed above. Lying, subpar work. Seriously, take your money elsewhere. read more

I would give them no stars if possible. My experience has been terrible. I signed a contract - if you want to call it that in Sept of 2017. My project is still not finished. The contract should have been the first indicator. When i asked them to break out labor vs costs they said it was hard to do. I have never had a contractor not itemize things. But they came highly recommended from a friend, so i went ahead. My project was a window replacement - not cheap. Several of the windows came in the wrong size and needed to be redone, multiple times. so either their measurement guys or the manufacturer were not doing their job. Then there were small details that weren't finished right and I had to bug them repeated to get it right. they came back a few times to do 15 minutes jobs - doesn't seem like good time management. But the worst was the communication issue. In this day of cell phones, messaging and e-mail - no excuse not to be in contact. But I would have to contact them and push to get information. This included the workers coming while I was out of town. I had set up a temporary code for my door opener for them to use, but I had no idea they were coming that time and had set my alarm system. I ended up being called and the police coming. Do not use these people!!! Terrible. read more

I had all these grand ideas from Pinterest I wanted but he warned me that in the end the cost would not give me that much more storage. It didn't seem like he wanted to use up our entire budget from the beginning so I felt I could trust him. Tamas and his crew ( Luis, Feliciano, Yanosh, Laurent and Peter) were great with my young son who was fascinated with all the work going on. Treeium sent a project manager to look at a fairly small job of replacing a Formica counter top in our kitchen . Ronnie Ilan was very impressive, knowledgeable, thorough and delightful. He explained what could be done and made suggestions. We were shown pictures of kitchens and bathrooms so that we could see what the end product might look like. However, because we were knee deep in a major remodel and never had any intention of touching the kitchen, we decided not to do this project and just finish up on on our initial remodel, which was started in 9/2016. This company contacted me after I submitted a request for contractors through Home Advisor. We were looking at doing a bathroom addition or remodel. The estimator arrives, looks at the space, doesn't take any measurements, and then sits down to talk to us for an hour. He shows us pictures of the same bathroom remodel style they've done in other homes (which would never fit with the architectural style of our house anyway) and throws out rough estimates of cost. Then he tries to get us to sign up to do the work with them right then and there, without having any kind of written estimate. I refused, because there is no way I am committing to a project of that magnitude without seeing something in writing first, and he said he would send a written estimate the following week. Well, over a month later, and no estimate has arrived. Can't say I'm surprised, this is clearly their business model. Do yourself a favor and find a local contractor who is confident in their own work enough to give you a written estimate. read more

We hired Treeium to remodel both of our bathrooms in August. Unfortunately for us, we are unable to recount the 4 to 5 star ratings that everyone else has had. The project was not finished until the beginning of December - months after the anticipated finish date. Delaying a few weeks is expected. Multiple months? Not so much. Guy Katz is an amazing salesman and very capable of winning you over in a heartbeat. His ability to deliver as a branch manager, however, is less than stellar. He was unable to follow up on promises, cut corners when hiring crew, missed practically every deadline we agreed on, and deflected the blame from himself onto his crew and even his own clients. In one case, the crew he hired for the first bathroom was so incompetent we had to fire them. They were lazy and unable/unwilling to make bathroom walls with flat surfaces. Guy reacted poorly to the situation, due to his lack of basic knowledge in the industry and tried to compensate with bigger promises. In the process, he was extremely rude to members of my family. When we did fire the crew, they came back and threatened us with a mechanic's lien due to Treeium not handling payments. Not a good feeling to have when someone comes to you for money because the company you paid to pay them doesn't follow through. Fast forward to the next bathroom. Due to his poor negotiation skills, he managed to alienate his entire building team. This lead to another cascade of delays well through Thanksgiving and forced us to put up guests at a nearby hotel. There are many more issues that I could bring up, but I'll make a very delayed attempt to strive for brevity. I cannot speak for the rest of Treeium - I am inclined to believe that Guy's performance is not representative of the company as a whole. His superior was quick to respond and did his best to accommodate our needs. Even then, too little too late. You pay a premium to work with Treeium. It's what you have to do if you want the job done right. We were just unlucky. P.S. we never got the tree that Guy promised to buy us when we were done :( read more

My mom used the company to repair some dry wall and then mud, sand, and paint the walls in a bathroom at her house. Ginadi was great with managing the project well and in a timely manner. We had some previous experiences with other companies who were rude and pushy and made my mom and I feel very uncomfortable. Ginadi was the opposite. I felt very comfortable having him and his team work in my mom's house. They did a great job, were on time, and even helped us out with taking some things down and putting them back up in the bathroom which we really appreciated and the bathroom looks great. I just replaced my roof (by Treeium) and installed solar panels as well. They are by far one of the best company I've dealt with. The entire management of my project was well organized. They were by me throughout the entire process. They would never install anything without showing it to me. Last month I received my electricity bill and to was only $1.20. Treeium will ultimately complete your project. However, there may be some delays and frustrations along the way. The actual project work we received was high quality and the finished product looks fantastic. Our project took longer than planned and had some issues with the work-teams. The thing to be aware of is the apparently high demand for quality workers in the Bay Area; and so it may take longer to complete your project while you wait for the work teams to finish other jobs. Rafael managed the project along with Ginadi and they were very responsive to phone calls and texts. We met often with them through project completion. read more

I had my kitchen remodeled by Treeium and am so happy with the results. I am also very busy, so having a great project manager for the job was super helpful. Rafael was the project manager and he was so considerate, understanding and patient and it really made a difference in how well the experience was for me. There were so many choices to make and they were always available to talk options through. This really helped out in making decisions. The main contractor, Daniel, was also really helpful and did great work. Both were always readily available to talk things through at any time I needed to get a hold of them. Review of Treeium (Ron Poliker)Kitchen/bathroom remodel After due diligence (Yelp and Home Advisor reviews) and three interviews and estimates given by other contractors, We met with Ron Poliker of Treeium. Ron's personality, character and warmth was immediately appreciated. There was no hard sale tactics and he seemed truly concerned with how we really wanted our kitchen to look and the most affordable options... he did more listening than talking. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and explained precisely what would be done and what to expect from a full kitchen/bathroom remodel. He did not insist on us going with his suppliers, but gave us options and freedom to search, locate and find alternate suppliers while he gave us fair credit off his estimates for the job. Work began on time, although there were several "hiccups" (most due to us ordering and the untimeliness of delivery) and finished in a timely manner. Ron made sure we were pleased with the construction crews. All work to be performed due to unforeseen circumstances were explained to us ASAP and we were advised to the extra cost and was giving the option to have someone else make the repairs/changes if we so chose to. Ron made himself available for all our concerns and made sure that everything we addressed was taken care of in a timely manner. One incident in particular, we experienced a water leak in our bathroom, late at night, we text Ron immediately...he sent an employee out first thing in the morning to access the situation and a plumber was over to rectify the problem with in an hour. Rafael Levi is our project manager. Our bathroom remodel was a total tear out and re-do. The bathroom was completed quite fast considering it also entailed tearing down a wall and extending the shower two feet into unused storage area of a closet behind it. We had a great crew and really appreciate Sylvester and Carlos who worked on the project everyday. We are also having Treeium "refresh" our kitchen. We just had a bathroom remodel completed in our 1960 era home which included expansion by moving a wall 2 feet. Ginadi Feldman was the Project Manager and he was excellent! He was great on design and came up with some ideas that I had not even considered. His guidance always included both benefit and cost - very important! He met with me to pick out products at wonderful places. Throughout the project he was in constant contact and kept me informed of status,etc. In my working life, I was involved with construction management and Ginadi certainly exceeded my expectations as a great project manager Treeium also pulled all the permits.
