We did a huge remodel with Dreamhome, lasting about a year for which we moved out for 5 months. The planning, design phase with Eli, Dana was a breeze. Eli walked us through various options and provided optimization for what we wanted vs. the budget. We knew the problems we wanted to fix but did not have a clear idea about how to fix them. Eli and his team made it very easy. David (from Eli's team) took over the project during the actual remodel. Majority of the work was done on time. We did identify several small problems once we moved back which Eli and David had anticipated. They helped with fixing all the issues, getting through the inspection. We did have to be a bit on top of things to identify the issues and report them, but never got any pushback from Eli or David. They resolved all the issues satisfactorily. We hired dream home remodel to work on a renovation project in our 10-year-old home that we recently purchased. The tasks we had them complete included: - Converting carpet to wood in two rooms - Re-carpeting a converted garage - Repainting the walls - Installing two toilets - Fixing some hinges The subcontractor who worked on the wooden floors did an excellent job, which was the highlight of their service. However, everything else resulted in headaches for us. In the re-carpeted garage, the edges of the carpet where they nailed it down to stabilize it ended up with nails protruding through the carpet, causing injuries when walking along the edge or trying to exit the door. We had to ask them to come back and fix it. During the repainting of the walls, they broke two crown moldings on the ceiling (photos attached). Regarding the installed toilets, one of them was a Toto model, and they installed it in a way that prevented closing the side of the toilet due to shoddy pipework. The second toilet required pulling some low-voltage electrical work, but they did not properly repaint the wall (photos attached). After receiving payment, it was challenging to get them to come back and address these remaining issues. Lastly, they had some extra wooden planks from the floor installation, and their worker attempted to take the extra planks to return and keep the money for himself without refunding us.
