The company came with a large team of both male and female workers; it was evident that the team works like a "well oiled machine" as all team members were actively playing a role in ensuring that safety took precedence and that our property was respected and kept tidy. The team members diligently removed the tree parts and debris as soon as the remnants of the trees touched the ground! We received estimates from 12-15 companies, but Aspen had the most competitive price(s)! Ralph is the owner and he was an amazing, dedicated man. He stayed until 7:30 at night to ensure that ALL of the multiple stumps had been grinded down on the same day that the trees had been removed. We would absolutely, without a doubt, hire this company again: if we need additional tree services! Please note that the company willingly shared proof of insurance (Certificate of Insurance) and proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance, which eased our worries as customers! (Many other tree removal companies had been hesitant to provide such important information at the time when their estimates had been given.). Anyway, I needed to have a tree removed that was nearly completely dead. The Trees on my property in East Quogue haven't been attended to for at least 30 years. I called TLC having seen their equipment at another location and scheduled for Paul to come and have a look. There were about 20 trees on the property at the time. Paul and I took a walk around the property and he discussed with me the things that he felt would be good to do. He was thorough and totally non pressure. It was clear that if I just wanted the one tree down that was fine, but as I thought about it I began to picture how much better my property would look with a high canopy of trees rather than the low canopy that I currently had which was not especially attractive and also had the effect of making my house rather dark. In addition it would benefit the health of my trees. I scheduled for TLC to remove three trees which were in very poor shape and to trim up all the remaining trees. The job was done on time as promised in 3 visits. The TLC crew knows what they are doing! They were careful to trim the trees in the proper fashion, in fact they were pretty incredible to see at work...have a look at the attached picture! I enthusiastically recommend TLC. Paul and his crew were great to deal with. The price was reasonable. Our tree canopy looks great now. They did a neat job on time as promised. TLC is a great resource for tree and related services.

The company / management lacks accountability and dependability. The job that I paid for was incomplete and they never returned. Hard to get in touch with them and can't really get a straight answer when I finally did reach Paul. Very disappointed because I wanted to continue to work with them since the portion they did complete was done well. Paid $750 and gave a $150 tip to the workers... never returned after that to finish the job.

After the planting was finished the two guys took a picture and sent it because Paul ( who we hired) was not on site at all on the one day that they planted. Additionally, Paul changed the contract and prices about five times and charged close to eight thousand dollars for fill ( which was not enough) and planting trees. The fill needed would complement what we already had and was not enough because more dirt and was needed for a successful planting project. Although we hired a landscaper and paid for a design, bringing and spreading some dirt and planting was the extent of the project. We definitely did not get our money's worth and felt extremely disappointed by someone we trusted would do a professional job. We would not hire Paul or Green Terrain to do any work for us ever again.

Mark went over the scope of the work with his fireman and the left me in very good hands. They not only held to the plan, they did a terrific cleanup before departing.
