I planned this event for my birthday and brought my friends along. OMG was it scary YES! But at the same time it was fun! Once you finish you feel accomplished but during I felt like I was going to die! Okay maybe not die but my heart was pounding. The zip line had to be my favorite part, LOVED IT! The staff were nice and got us all geared up. You do have to wait a while for the whole group who book at your time to arrive. First it feels like a run down theme park. I understand it's outside but a small coat of paint goes along way. The food was stupid expensive and they add a $4 or $5 , this service fee is getting out of hand. service fee, bathrooms were down right gross, soap and paper towel dispensers all broke, some had duct tape around them. As I watched my boys it was making me nervous how a lot of the polls were moving . Not sure if they are suppose to do that. I also felt so bad for the animals that live in those little cages, there is no grass , it's truly criminal . I did submit a claim and hope they are placed in a better environment. So jungle Island added this new adventure, and what an adventure it is. I want to first of all warn you that this is not as easy and by easy I mean you're gonna get tired. Get ready for it, if you're doing all of the tiers at least 3 hours, If not a little bit longer depending on your physical fitness. There is so much that you're doing that you don't even feel the time going. What you do feel is that it never ends. You're up in the sky. The fear will leave. It's something that is momentary. Go with the right clothes so that you don't end up a sweaty mess. This is so worth it at the end of it when you do the last one all the way at the top you get to see the Miami skyline, which is honestly so beautiful. You're seeing the park from up top so it's definitely a different view from any other zoo type place that you can be at. Multiple zip lines, multiple courses. It's just a good time. Stay hydrated drink as much water as you can first I got to go twice on one by because there was a thunderstorm and they had to stop and they told us that we could use it in another time so they are very understanding and accommodating. read more

Oh, Girl. This was a crazy workout. A day later and I am still sore. A group of us went and 6 out of 9 of us made it on all 4 tracks. It is very intense. Please have decent upper body strength. A lot of physicality but so fun!!! I really pushed myself because I certainly wanted to quit. That last track had me sitting down on a couple of the platforms. But got through. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated between tracks. They say no outside food and drinks but we were told we could have brought reusable water bottles. So......Bring a reusable water bottle. Bottled water is $6 a pop. Go early in the morning and during the fall. It got really hot up there. We started at 10 am and finished by 1. The sun was playing zero games! It was so hot and so humid. So wear sunscreen too and sunglasses but have the neck loop to keep them attached to your face. We had to pour some out for the sunglasses that were lost in the trees. I don't know where I got this fear of heights but is something I want to overcome. You will need gloves for this adventure! Your hands will be raw from holding tight at the metal cables. My husband and I are in our mid 30s and he is very active and athletic while I'm probably about average and I am on the shorter side. We chose the Thrill-Seeker trek and we completed all 4 courses in about 2 hours. For both of us we felt like it was an intense workout but still doable. Overall we had a great time and the equipment and course all had me feeling safe while also getting my adrenaline pumping. While none of the obstacles were too difficult for us to complete I will say that you should pace yourself as the second of the two higher courses took a lot of endurance and really tested my abilities. The toughest portion for me was the stretch where in quick succession there are three challenging obstacles (a rock climbing wall, the rope net and the "Jungle Island" obstacle) that all required a lot of upper body strength. Save some energy for this as it's about halfway through the second of the higher courses. The guides were a bit hit and miss. Some were really kind and had great advice and encouragement. Others seemed bored to be at work on a Monday morning and were a bit testy with some of the other guests that were there. Parking cost $20 which we weren't expecting. Our fees included access to Island Jungle afterwards so we did take some time to walk around and admire some of the attractions from the ground. Finally, some things I would have changed to make my experience even better: 1) Hydrate a bit more before going up - but not too much because you can't really stop for a potty break. We bought a water bottle at the park and left it at the starting platform. You return to the same point between each course. 2) Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind sweating in. I wore denim capris and would have worn yoga pants if I had known better. 3) If you are not an experienced climber you probably need gloves - my hands took a bit of a beating from all the times I used the ropes and the cables to help me. Came away with a couple of cuts and scrapes but the guides do have a first aid kit on a hand and they provided me with some ointment and a bandage once I was done. Overall I would recommend this experience but it's probably not for everyone. read more

Also time it properly since if you end up on a top track between 1-3 pm sunscreen might not save you and it feels hot as hell in helmet. I had so much fun all in all. I came alone and made a friend that was also there alone. It is super scary at first until you get the hang of it, it becomes kinda fun. It is meant to spike your adrenaline but the team does a great job of safety measures. One of the employees have to come to the middle of zipline and pulled my weight himself back to the post since I didn't grab the base on time lol. It is a super fun scary workout though for sure but I definitely think it's a great activity for your mental because at the beginning of each obstacle, you're going to think it's impossible to do but will get through it eventually by persisting. I also couldn't afford to lose face behind the 10 year old little boy in front of me doing it. Super fun to do with a friend group too I bet. Staff were are super kind and friendly, EXCEPT one thing I will say is that the Guest Relations/Service part of the building IRONICALLY had the worst service in the whole world. They lucky everybody else was so cool I couldn't give them less than 4 stars. But I came in there and said excuse me maybe 10 times and still no response until I told the YOUNGER staff that are doing the check in and ziplining process about it and they went behind the counter to get the ladies. One of the girls acted like it was such a chore to check my bag in like it's not something she's getting paid for. Guess what happened when I went to go check out my bags... no response again. Another staff member from the ziplines had to go grab somebody... What are those girls getting paid to do???? It's really unfair to everybody else there actually working. Anyway, the wristband for the ziplined also gives you access to the zoo which I adored too. The parrots talk back, the animals especially the monkeys are so beautiful to me. My only advice to this business is to train/re-establish their position the front desk of your literal customer service building because they clearly do not understand their role. They don't have to be at the desk all the time if nobody's there but I shouldn't have to wait 7 mins saying excuse me multiple times and having to grab staff from another department TWICE in one visit to help me. read more

Hard to enjoy what should be a fun experience when some of the men who work here are predators and creeps that'll try to hit on you and some asking for phone numbers of other female clients, when I went some of the staff was trying to hit on a group of 16-17 year old girls asking them if they want to go get some drinks afterwards, the girls looked genuinely uncomfortable but the staff was just being predatory. Needles to say they did back off after the girls mentioned their age but even after the fact the staff were commenting on their bodies. The courses are really fun and well maintained, we felt safe and secure the whole time. The views from the higher levels are beautiful and honestly distracted me from how high up it was lol. I visited this location on June 24, 2024, with my two children who wanted to go on the course. They enjoyed the course mostly until the ending, when I, as a parent, did not enjoy nor appreciate the service. One issue was that it was a semi-rainy day, and staff members repeatedly suggested we get a rain check and return another day. This is untrue; there are no rain checks, and this was intentionally misleading. The next issue, and my main concern as a parent, was with the person who assisted my children on the obstacle course when they got stuck. I believe his name was Dan, the guy with the beard, who claimed he did all the work. My children, who wanted to finish the course, did not because one got stuck, and the man (Dan) helping them told them to look down, saying that if they continued, they would get stuck and he would have to rescue them by lowering them into the water below, where animals were waiting. He scared my children off the course, which upset us greatly. We are still upset to this day. I did speak to the on-site manager who put me in touch with the person who runs the park about this situation. I recommend for adults only, not for families, my kids being frightened by a staff member who was supposed to help is unacceptable. read more

Loved it! Some tips - we did the thrill seeker package which means the two lower courses (about 25 feet up) plus two upper courses (about 50 feet up). The upper courses are physically challenging and require a lot of upper body strength and use of core muscles to balance. Having gloves helped tremendously. The shorter you are, the more challenging ( I think). Give yourself a lot of time - like an hour per course. Otherwise was perfect activity to go with the teenagers / young adults. read more

What a day! I didn't even know this place existed but I'm excited I was invited here for a day of fun! I came on a Monday with a girlfriend and bot was I in for a surprise! I had no idea how afraid of heights I was until this. We spent 3 hours in the air suspended on harness cords tackling each obstacle one by one.
