After a bit of a snafu with the constant HVAC closures at both Hesperian and Whipple, as well as a very professionally handled customer service escalation (shoutout to the amazing support from Alicia) and additional support from a swim manager (thank you Michelle) we can now happily give Waterworks an updated review! I've have now had my son in lessons with both Tay and Zane and couldn't be happier with our son's progress. We've cycled through many instructors through all our time at Waterworks but Tay and Zane have truly been the best match for my child (and we really have had cycled through 4+ instructors before due to high turnover) and we truly hope Tay and Zane are going nowhere anytime soon! My son's confidence has soared since working with both these instructors and I can't wait to see him swim even more independently. Daydreaming about him joining a swim team one day! He went from being in tears out of fear before every swim lesson to eagerly plopping himself into the pool and looking forward to class every time. And even when he does get nervous, both Tay and Zane know how to help him take deep breaths and practice other coping skills to feel less nervous. Waterworks tends to be on the more expensive side but not that much different in pricing than other swim schools in the area. Most importantly, the indoor pool is a perk as I've had friends recommend some of the local swim clubs but since they're all outdoor, the seasonality of swim wouldn't work for us. I just tell myself we are paying more for the year round access to indoor swim lessons. Thanks again to the Waterworks team especially for helping us hang in there after all the ups and downs!

My daughter was afraid of the water initially but Edward managed to help her overcome that fear. She is now able to swim and has leveled up multiple times. Taylor teaches my son excellent techniques. I had an issue like this in the beginning but ignored it but I see the pattern now. Don't go to this place at all. The facility is also overcrowded with bad washrooms and limited space. Apparently, swim team only need 2 strokes and to scale a regulation pool. I thought the response was going to be ok, let's work on the endurance, because, you know, I still trusted that my kid was going to be a foundationally trained swimmer as I have been very trusting and patient with their 'method'. The response after the class was 'I see that our instructor is not giving feedback, that is how they usually accelerate. I told them to give feedback.' Planning to file a formal complaint.

We have been coming weekly to this location, and it has seriously become a second home to us with a large extended family! Over the years we have had many amazing swim instructors including Ms. Marissa, Ms. Angelina, Ms. Karyn, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Corey, and countless wonderful others who have helped my little learn to swim across the pool in all four strokes before age 5. Every time we walk in the door my little is greeted by the front desk and office staff by name and it makes us feel so welcomed. The facility is always clean and organized (thanks Jan and team!). Each staff member working knows my child's level and how to help her improve her swim strokes. I also appreciate how the staff is very organized and everyone has a clear job that gets done in the pool, outside of the pool, and around the building. As a parent, I am so thankful for this large group of trusted adults that have not only taught my little how to swim, but have created amazing memories for her (like singing Taylor Swift at the top of their lungs and having us participate in a promotional photo shoot) and given her a wide net of trusted adults that she feels comfortable with and learns from.

Luckily, there was an East Bay Regional employee nearby working and I was able to get directions from him as I had no service In the area. When I finally made it to the main entrance, I saw the lot, which had plenty of parking. There is a restroom by what looks like visitor center which also appeared to possibly be remodeled as it was fenced up. There are so many trails to take; you get wonderful views of East Bay! The trails are steep, but it's a great workout!

I've been taking my family here for years so I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My kids love Treeview! The pool itself is definitely cleaner than any public pool that I've been in the area to and it's not as crowded either, which is especially nice. They always have a lifeguard on duty, but I don't depend on them if my kids are swimming just because I always feel like my kids are my responsibility. There are plenty of snacks to choose from in their little snack shack for sale, including ice cream snacks for the hot summer days. Since it's an outdoor facility, they're only open during the summer months. Usually, that's starting Memorial Day Weekend and ending Labor Day Weekend. However, they've been known to stay open until late September depending on the weather. They have a Bocce Ball court for those who like to play and plenty of lawn area space for a volleyball setup. You can even book a party there for swimming and BBQ. There are also plenty of chairs and lawn chairs available on a first-come/first-serve basis. The entire facility will be renovated in the offseason from what I learned. Part of the renovation will be to fix the kiddie pool that's currently closed. In fact, you can see the new design mockups on display in their office. The new updates will include a hot tub, which I'm sure will be very popular once it's set up. I'm anxious to see how this place will look once the renovations are done. In the meantime, my family and I will continue to come here and bring guests for a long time to come. read more
