I visited this wine bar on multiple occasions including most recently during Lakewood Chocolate Walk. AMBIANCE: Wine market meets casual wine bar. Dainty tables between wine aisles, small bar, and enclosed patio-like are your seating options. Most guests seem to be friend groups. Vibes and dress are casual. The building houses Rozi's Wine on the lower level, and various offices on the other floors. The includes beauty salon, and medical services. If you're visiting the building for any of the service you can just easily take the elevator down to Rozi's. Cook Office Building is supposedly haunted! WINE: Rozi's has a huge variety of wine for all budgets. There is a section of under $20 wines. Then an aisle away there is Dom Perignon. They also sell various beers from all the world (on tap and in cans). You can purchase wine by the bottle or by glass. I always opt into the glass option, which usually costs $10-12. You can also try samples to see if you'll like an entire bottle or glass. New options are constantly added to the menu. I tried the new orange wine from Sicily, Italy ($11). It was okay but not a favorite. It was pretty bland to me, not bold like I'd expect. Then again I have never had orange wine so take this with a grain of salt. I haven't yet discovered any memorable wines here. SERVICE: The service is transactional. I never feel like I can engage in a conversation about wine. I wish there would be more warmth. If you're looking for wine before dining on Detroit Road or need a bottle to go, this is your place. It's the only locally owned place I've seen on the West Side with such extensive selection.

Limited selection- they didn't have the whitbier yeast that I needed and the clerk told me to use an all-purpose beer yeast. I looked for the malt, hops and other ingredients- nope- they didn't have them. The clerk told me I can substitute some other hops, etc. I've made beer before, some things can be substituted, but the basic yeast and main hops can't be. They were selling 5-gallon plastic buckets for $18.99 and with $20.99 for volume-marked buckets! They had Brewer Best kits- a whitbier beer kit was marked $44, but it was dated "packaged 2022" and the another kit had the date sticker removed. The yeast expired a long time ago for those kits. Other kits (that had date labelled) went back to 2020. I'm not sure what their story is, but from reviews it seems like they may have bought a good and solid business where former people knew how to make beer and buy supplies. Now for beer and wine making there's a limited inventory (and old 2020), and marked-up prices. They may have a better beer selection, but for beer making supplies- No sales for me.

Don't fret, there is some parking behind the store because it's chaos in the little lot that houses the gas pumps. Glass enclosed cashier area gives you the feel of Cleveland inner-city. Also heard that women get verbally harassed in the late night hours by men who are hanging out on the property. That may sound harsh, but it is not a "bad area". Just an area to be "alert" in. And it is perfectly fine during the day (unless you get hit by a car driving too quickly into the Starbucks across the street). If you are a diehard wine fan, this stop is a MUST Northeast Ohio. For such a small area, I might proclaim it the best overall selection on the West Side (yes, better than Rozi's or Red, Wine & Brew or the various Heinen's or Avon Wine Room). Just because they have a huge selection of extensive serious wines in the $100 - $400 range. Plus they have the selection of the under $10 bottle, plus they have many offerings in the teen range.
