It's your typical Starbucks - staff are overall friendly and efficient and the drinks pretty much cost the same around the board. Fresh and made in-house. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The Late art is beautiful and by far the best coffee I have had in Prince George. It is a great spot for studying, a date, or meeting up with some friends. If you sit in for a bit, you will notice people chatting about how delicious the drinks are on their way out, or as they sit down! Truly a gem and always a treat when I come here.

I've noted this in other reviews, but being from Northern California with viticulture experience, I love being able to learn from and try other wineries. I've never tried any fruit wine and was slightly nervous, as I don't favor ultra sweet wine nor ports. I taxi'd over around 4pm - walked in through the main door to find myself alone in their tasting room. Once greeted I inquired about a wine tasting, where someone behind the counter poured me 4 tastings of more red-wine-like fruit wines. I was pleasantly surprised by the wines and also appreciated the knowledge she shared. I ended up purchasing the Blueberry one and the Haskap (that made it back to CA safely!). I then sat down for dinner (also was 1 of 2 groups there), ordered the Sicilian pesto and ended up getting the cookies & cream desert. Great portions and flavors, I can't complain. While I was waiting for my food, they let me venture around their Christmas lights experience outside. Again, I was lucky to be alone as I could use their handy wooden selfie stands to set my phone on and take pictures. I must admit I haven't taken a great solo photo in awhile and I now have one of my favorites from here :D Highly recommend if you stop by PG - will most likely be back for work again and look forward to popping in!

I said it was fine though, the order was paid and I went to grab a coffee at Tim Horton's to pass the time. I returned to the restaurant and sat down while I waited for my food to be ready. Some minor observations; there were two younger people working along side the sushi chef. One of them a young man looked very dazed and confused. Everyone in general was very quiet. No communication what so ever. I miss the older gentleman who used to work there who had a very lively bubbly personality and always greeted you so warmly talking to you while you waited. And the wait was never that long. I'm not sure I'll return. The premium California roll seemed to be missing from my tray and after waiting as long as I did for something real simple; Sushi Star though a bit more far is really good and their staff always seem really lively and more personable.

The staff will make your day! They are always so bright and quick. Their Ethiopian roast is a great cup of coffee. Zoe's always has great lunch options -my favorite is the veg taco sandwhich. The hardest part is picking out a treat! They always have homemade bars like chocolate oat raspberry or lemon bars that are always SO worth it. The only downside of Zoe's is that the parking downtown can be a challenge but that's not even enough to take a star away.
