I got the enchiladas which was okay for the price however my friend got 3 tacos for $16 & they were tiny. :-( And the downside is. You have to pay $4 for chips and salsa. They bring you a basket of chips and a tiny ramekin of salsa - not nearly enough to go with all the chips- & then offer to bring you more salsa only for you to get your bill and see that they charged $1.50 for it I mean? Food was very underwhelming. Not cold or slow, just not very tasty. Burrito was a generous 5/10. Tomatillo salsa was a little too acidic and didn't pair well at all with the side salad. I am so happy that I ate here last night! The chimichanga, guacamole and chips, and the fried plantains were delicious!! The only thing that I could report was a bummer was, I ordered my food to go. When I got to the restaurant, I stood inside while the waitress passes me at least three times without saying ' hi, I'll be right with you' or anything to acknowledge my presence. Updating since the business owner wanted to comment that she "remembers our table as well" when we were nothing but pleasant despite the ridiculousness. We may have talked amongst ourselves about the atrocity of it all, but we never did ask for comp or discount and we didn't even short the rude server on her tip. We simply wanted ice for our drinks and wanted food in a reasonable time without arguing with our waitress about what we wanted. I would love to hear from the owner what she "remembers" so that I can acknowledge my faults. Personally, if you read my first review none of that would have been warranted even if my table was somehow so "memorable". Sadly, I think this owner is just trying to justify the rude behavior by belittling people who are providing feedback of a horrible experience instead of acknowledging that someone might have had a poor experience at their restaurant and apologizing for an off night. So there we are, 3 bros, famished after a sick day of ripping. Talking like a stoke level of 110 P. After ripping our boots off and sliding into our lightning McQueen crocs * kachow* we knew we were ready for the ultimate chow down, I'm talking Man VS Food style. A true war. Let's just say he passed the vibe check: the tables immaculately distanced, wall decor left the boizs flabbergasted, bussin music (J-Swizzle on aux = flames). Utterly speechless at our amiable seating. We swiped that QR code faster than the cops snatched up Tay-K. Upon examining the grub, we locked in on the chimis and ladas. We sauced our order to J-Swizzle and he sent it to the magicians in the back. The short but much appreciated wait allowed the boiz to soak in the vibes and prepare for the battle that was about to ensue. Armed with fork and knife, shielded by napkin, J-Swizzle deployed the opponent and wished us luck. JT was the first to falter. Chimi on his face, gasping for air, he looked to Strydwr for guidance, only to see Stryder neck deep in changa. Stryder and JT in need of strength, looked to Kenny for reassurance. Kenny armed with cholula, amidst battle with the most formidable opponent of the table, the ladas, blot his eyes up level with the boiz whispering "keep going, you're never out of the fight". J-Swizzle came back to our table, our battleground, only to find battered weary, but not defeated. In fact we were the champions. Greeeted with stoke from our boy J-Swizzle a lifelong long friendship was born we will never forget Jordan's service (J-Swizzle), and an unquenchable hunger was fulfilled. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. It took 20 min to take our order while I was standing there waiting. 4 servers said they would be right back to take our order. I then asked if I should just call it in so I could get our order placed. After waiting 40 more min to get our order and I shared (nicely) that we had waited 40 min for our food when we were told 20 min, she told me I was lucky to have our order taken. She was snotty and rude. And they weren't very busy. Also for a 62.00 meal, they charge you for any chips. A truly lousy experience. Ned is a beautiful town. This restaurant needs to go. Edit- our order was wrong as well. So we had to drive 15 minutes back to the restaurant to get the right order. Go to Busey Brews, Neds or Cross cut. Or any of the other wonderful restaurants. The food is delicious and they enjoy having customers. Including the deli! The deli is awesome. But don't waste your time at Tres Gringos. They may tell you off as well. read more
