I am not one to leave bad reviews but I was highly disappointed. we were told they had certain dishes, and they did not. the Quesabirria was made with a red tomatoe sauce. and did not come with consome. we waited 30 minutes on refills. Went to Katrina's Bar and Grill in North Lee Highway next to Harry's liquor store was overcharged the menu said 1099 and they charged us $12.99 we ordered burritos and we got this bowl of something that had a small shell with hamburger in it flavorless and then all the other ingredients were thrown on top of it ate it in the parking lot cuz we got it to go and within three miles I was throwing it up my wife did the same after we got home about 15-20 minutes later would not feed this to my chickens I have reported it to the health department there have been many many complaints about this restaurant shut the restaurant down. I arrived at 6:25 PM. Regarding the daily specials, they change by the day and I believe my server Jose said they try to keep the daily specials the same week to week. He did clarify that Thursday and Friday are their big specials day, and I think because they have alcohol specials on those days. If I'm wrong, then perhaps someone from the restaurant could reply and correct me. There seems to be some outdoor seating available, but I opted to eat inside. Regarding the bathroom, it's a public bathroom with 1 urinal and 1 stall that provides paper towels. The condition was fine, the paper towel dispenser was empty and paper towels had to be gotten from the roll that was on top of the dispenser. It would have been nice if someone had just put the roll in the dispenser. For my entrée, I ordered the Chamorro En Mole, which took about 28 minutes to arrive. The lengthy prep time could be only for certain menu items, as it seemed food orders for other customers came in a timely manner. Still, had I not brought my Steam Deck to play, I would probably have been more upset with how long the food took. They do give free chips and salsa, so if you come hungry and order something with a lengthy prep time, you at least get a free snack while you wait. As for the food itself, the house salad that comes with the Chamorro En Mole seemed to be comprised of grated carrot, onion, diced tomato, lettuce, spinach, and cheese and came with ranch dressing on the side. The salad did taste fresh though and not like it had been sitting out. As for the Chamorro itself, the mashed potatoes tased just like potatoes. I don't think they mix anything into them since they're served with osso bucco and sauce on top of them. The osso bucco itself was thankfully moist and tasty. I had never hade mole sauce before, and while I wasn't taken by it on my first bite, the more of it I ate, the more I liked it. As for spice level, there was a hint of spiciness to it, but I'd say its barely there. For dessert, I went with the Chocolate Overload, which is a slice of chocolate cake with whipped cream. That only took 4 minutes and 39 seconds to arrive. The whipped cream was light, and the cake itself was indeed very chocolatey, so I enjoyed it. When I got the receipt for my bill, I noticed that they don't list the specific things you order, which I wish they did to help verify the cost of the meal. As a general summary of my experience, despite the lengthy food prep time and the paper towel roll not being in the dispenser in the bathroom, I still left satisfied with my dinner and am willing to give it another try. Last thing I'll mention is that if you eat here for your birthday, they will sing happy birthday to you and offer you a free dessert. read more

First time today for lunch. Got there and immediately I notice how CLEAN. Floor, table, decorations all spotless. Quality of the food (carnitas) was amazing. Delicious and fresh. Price is amazing. Family of four for under fifty bucks including tip? Yes please. Service was perfect. First time going, of many to come. Best Mexican food in this area. Including Chattanooga. Don't sleep on this place. It's not right on the "main drag" but is only a couple minutes from Walmart. Get there and support a business doing it well. read more

I will start with location, it's in a corner lot and a little difficult to enter. As we entered they sat us down pretty quick and waitress came over to ask for drinks. We ordered drinks and it took a considerable amount of time for the drinks to arrive. However we still ordered food, OMG this took for ever to arrive and it was very bland, food was not good for our tasting at all. They did have the option to sit at the bar, but had limited drinks. My wife ordered a margarita and it wasn't good either. Not a place that I would recommend if you're looking for authentic tic Mexican experience and food. read more

Have visited twice and absolutely love this restaurant. Waiting staff and management are fantastic. Food is excellent. Tried the Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos for appetizer...YUM ! Went here on Cinco de Mayo - NO WAIT!!! PRO's: adorable decor, clean restaurant, great location, plenty of parking, nice wait staff (even though they seemed to have been put thru the ringer for the holiday), fast service, fast delivery of food and drinks, attentive staff, entree fixed as ordered. Delicious 'Cocktel' (full of large shrimp) just needed a little more spice/kick to it. Our entrees were good. Large TVs - very visible everywhere. CONs: cheese dip is way too runny (had it on earlier visit, still runny), has little flavor and needs a little kick of spice, chips were very stale and hard to chew, steak was very difficult to cut even with steak knife, margarita was 99 cents but i think they left out the tequila (maybe because of Cinco de Mayo). If they will just improve on the chips and cheese, we will continue to eat here because of all of the above PROs!! Nice to have a restaurant on this side of town!! read more

Great food with lots of authenticity. So many flavors that are true to actual food made in different parts of Mexico. Everyone can find something they like here, even picky eaters. The full bar has everything you could want and the drinks are made well (and strong!). The service is attentive but not intrusive. The owners are kind and friendly. Bought a gift certificate through local flavor and have gone twice to try and use it, and both times, it was an excuse to not be able to use. Will not be back the manager is a joke and absolutely no customer service skills. The food was decent but even the service was subpar had to ask 3 times to get the over priced cheese dip and ask two different people to get my wife's diet coke. Do not recommend this place one bit. we had a steak fajitas and chicken nachos. the steak and chicken was tender but lacked seasoning. the waitress was fabulous. however if you're planning to use the Local Flavor certificate, don't order anything that's not menu priced. even the happy hour and daily specials. the manager or owner, not sure who he was, but wanted to argue with me that i would have to pay full price for the daily special if I wanted to use the certificate. He finally accepted it as he should have. So just beware. other than that the place is great. but I can see, the business will not last unless they change their attitude. read more
