I captured this classy pic near the time when it was first established this would become THE mighty taco truck of Cleveland.
    Santi R.

This is the best food truck you'll find in Cleveland, and truly, probably the best authentic Mexican Food you'll find in Cleveland. Albeit, that's not saying [too] much, since Cleveland is not what you would call, a "culinary capital," but this little place will surprise you and, who knows, even refresh you if the weather's good. The only drawback? Waiting times till the food peeps can be long, even if it is takeout, especially on busy hours. Make sure to take your time. This one's a #recommend, for now. - SrsRsrS

This my first ever Food Truck visit to a permanent location with definite set hours. I have been wanting to visit this food truck for a few months since a Yelper added it back during the summer. I called them on phone to confirm their hours and their was a bit of understanding and comprehending of our communication. But, once arrived I looked at pictures of what they have pinned up outside their food truck and they knew what I wanted. menu items ordered: Mexican coke, steak Gordita, and chicken taco. The Gordita and taco went down quickly as it was so good as I almost inhaled them without chewing. The Mexican Coke can be found at about half of all ice cream shops between Cleveland and Chattanooga. In summary, I enjoyed my first visit to a food truck and will have to try another one soon.

    So so good

Best carne asada tacos is all of TN if you ask me and I've been to a "few." Coming from Cali I'm picky and this place makes the cut. Real deal and PLEaSE order the grilled onion and jalapeños side. It will change your world. Expect long lines, I call in my order.

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Recommend getting the chicken and/or pork tacos. Fresh made corn tortillas and make sure you ask for the sauces to put on the tacos. Very cheap for how authentic the tacos are. Walk right up to the truck and then either take them to go or eat them underneath a culvert.

3 tacos. One carne asada. Two al pastor. Both with cilantro and onions.

Really great little find. I use Yelp a lot when I travel, and was on the hunt for Los Gallos Tacos, which Yelp had rated #1 for tacos in Cleveland, TN... but apparently doesn't exist. On my way back down S. Lee Hwy I passed this little place, on a hard-to-get-to corner across from the CVS at this crazy intersection. Once I doubled back and figured out how to get into the parking lot, I was definitely hungry and hoping they were as good as the one I was initially searching for... And they were. I had three tacos: one carne asada and 2 al pastor... and then I went back for a carne asada gordita. The tacos were loaded with cilantro and onions. The gordita stuffed with cilantro, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cotija cheese. Paired with the salsa verde that was in a big bottle on my table... DELICIOUS! I also had 2 bottled "Mexican" cokes (sugar cane, not corn syrup). All that and my bill came to $10... If I lived here, I'd definitely be a regular at Tacos El Cuñao.

Taco is god's or Mexico's gift to humanity. It is a fully balanced and complete meal, easily wrapped in foil for takeout, or enjoyed on a nice day right at the food truck. There's vitamin K in the cilantro, vitamin C in the onions and lime juice, protein and fat in the meat, and carbs in the tortilla. You also get your daily dose of vitamin D from the sun while frequenting a food truck. And these are just the major vitamins. There's also lycopene from the salsa, iron in the meat, etc.... I've had tacos in Mexico, and most US states, and these tacos are some of the best that I've had. The service was excellent, I felt super guilty about not thinking fast enough to tip the kid. If you can spare a dollar, please tip the server on my behalf, as I'm not local. The food was sublime. I got two tacos and a gordita, and everything was amazing. This place is certainly bookmarked for the next time that I'm in town.

Authentic. We had some language issues when ordering. But it is the real deal. The problem when we went was that they did not have beans, so hard to get a bean burrito. But what they did have was good.

When we walked inside we realized that both places were combined inside which was cool. It was very spacious with many tables and places to sit. We came on a Tuesday for lunch, it wasn't that busy. I ordered a Carne Asada plate and chose flour tortillas. It also came with a Jarritos drink too, you can choose which flavored drink you want from the fridge by the counter. My friend got a pupusa, and carne asada (beef) and chicken tacos. The carne asada was phenomenal. I was really surprised at the portion of beef that came with my plate, it was huge. Not only that, but it was flavored and seasoned so well. It was savory and tasty. The frijoles (beans) and arroz (rice) was good, and the veggies on the side tasted very fresh. I took a bite of my friend's beef taco too and it was great. Every bite from my dish was great, I loved it. The only thing was that I wish the sides were a little bigger in proportion to the carne asada. For me, the sides are just as important as the protein. So I wish they gave a little more to balance out the whole dish. Other than that, I liked what I ordered. I'd come back for the carne asada and ice cream.

He found one piece of pepper (less than half inch) and the rest was a mix of mushy dough and rock hard cheese that glued it to the plate. He had ordered a dinner so he could get that along with burrito and rice. I decided to just get the daily special of taco salad since our server was not very knowledgeable about menu items. The soft drinks were almost $5 each. I don't have exact price because we didn't receive a receipt, but our lunch for 2 ended up being almost $40. We got the soft drinks because on our last visit, the food was good, but water had a strange taste. See photos of our food. The taco salad was very basic, no guac, no pico, somewhat brownish shredded lettuce and an overcooked taco shell. My husband, who usually loves salsa, would not eat the salsa that came with our chips. He said it just tasted like tomato sauce. Nobody checked back with us after food was delivered. There were no drink refills or to go cups offered, and we had to flag down someone to get the check. There are many better Mexican restaurants closer to our home, so we will not be going back.

He did clarify that Thursday and Friday are their big specials day, and I think because they have alcohol specials on those days. If I'm wrong, then perhaps someone from the restaurant could reply and correct me. There seems to be some outdoor seating available, but I opted to eat inside. Regarding the bathroom, it's a public bathroom with 1 urinal and 1 stall that provides paper towels. The condition was fine, the paper towel dispenser was empty and paper towels had to be gotten from the roll that was on top of the dispenser. It would have been nice if someone had just put the roll in the dispenser. For my entrée, I ordered the Chamorro En Mole, which took about 28 minutes to arrive. The lengthy prep time could be only for certain menu items, as it seemed food orders for other customers came in a timely manner. Still, had I not brought my Steam Deck to play, I would probably have been more upset with how long the food took. They do give free chips and salsa, so if you come hungry and order something with a lengthy prep time, you at least get a free snack while you wait. As for the food itself, the house salad that comes with the Chamorro En Mole seemed to be comprised of grated carrot, onion, diced tomato, lettuce, spinach, and cheese and came with ranch dressing on the side. The salad did taste fresh though and not like it had been sitting out. As for the Chamorro itself, the mashed potatoes tased just like potatoes. I don't think they mix anything into them since they're served with osso bucco and sauce on top of them. The osso bucco itself was thankfully moist and tasty. I had never hade mole sauce before, and while I wasn't taken by it on my first bite, the more of it I ate, the more I liked it. As for spice level, there was a hint of spiciness to it, but I'd say its barely there. For dessert, I went with the Chocolate Overload, which is a slice of chocolate cake with whipped cream. That only took 4 minutes and 39 seconds to arrive. The whipped cream was light, and the cake itself was indeed very chocolatey, so I enjoyed it. When I got the receipt for my bill, I noticed that they don't list the specific things you order, which I wish they did to help verify the cost of the meal. As a general summary of my experience, despite the lengthy food prep time and the paper towel roll not being in the dispenser in the bathroom, I still left satisfied with my dinner and am willing to give it another try. Last thing I'll mention is that if you eat here for your birthday, they will sing happy birthday to you and offer you a free dessert.
