It is always clean and the lawn is cut every week. The path that goes around the park is a nice little mile loop. I like to walk it when we come here for practice. The playground is small, but it is also clean. We have come here for baseball practice and those fields are ok for practice, but thats it! The only complaint I have is that the bathrooms are always filthy. Bring your own hand soap or sanitizer. I know its a park, but I have been to plenty of parks in the area and the bathrooms are kept nicer than this.

Bathrooms are not usually very clean, but they do have a snack bar open and volunteers patrolling on golf carts.

I come here frequently to either play pickle ball with the Yucaipa Pickleball club, take my son to the playground, and even for a date picnic with my wife. The park is well-maintained and the city has invested a lot of money and time into keeping the Park updated and continually making changes based off of the needs and requests of the community. I absolutely recommend bringing your family here for some safe, fun and activities!

The skatepark is closed and the covered courts area has been expanded to where the skatepark used to be. Yucaipa's main skatepark is over next to the high school off of 13th street. The new covered area is now home to 4 permanent pickleball courts which makes for an amazing space for youth who may not have their own nets yet and for anyone to come play in the shade. Yucaipa Pickleball Club reserves these courts for club play through the city. Club hours are generally in the mornings and the 4th Saturday of the month. The park is in a Chapman Heights housing development. Not very big, but set up on a hill with a very nice view, is clean and safe, and has attractive landscaping. There were two small basketball courts and a playset the kids quite enjoyed - with the largest climbing wall I have seen in the area. It wasn't that crowded on a weekday (late afternoon) with ample street parking. As a bonus, there appears to be a nicely maintained trail running next to the park and up the hill behind. Will be returning to see where it leads...
