This was over several months, and I had to keep asking the IRS to extend because Express Tax Help was not calling me back. I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of service. I was going to them for the last 10 years. They ghosted a loyal client who they now have forever lost. The refunds are great until you get audited, and they drop you like you were nothing. Not worth it in my opinion. Take accountability for your mistake. Don't screw over a loyal client.

We didn't realize until we received the email in the attached photo, which was sent CC'ing us by accident, that they were likely just waiting for us to give up and take our business elsewhere. We do not have a difficult tax situation in any way and we make decent income. Therefore, by "being choosier of their clients", they aren't referring to our actual case being complicated or not making enough profit from us, but likely something related to our marriage status, our professions, or something else personal. I would not recommend working with this business in case they decide you're not worth their time.
