I always used to go to TCCC, and for years, I never had any major problems, UNTIL today! The minute, I drove out of the parking lot, after being hit 2 months ago, the truck was bonking/knocking, up front, along with missing clips in the body panels, radiator, etc., yet they charged me for all of it!! I then called them about it, so they called Miller Tire(their 'auto shop'), to make an appointment for me, to go get it looked at. Yet, instead I had a neutral 3rd party, diagnose it, before getting an appointment with TCCC, to get the body work, that had broken/overspray removed/ask them about the parts on the bill, still left broken. Even though, I was recording everything said today(3/25/2025, the day an employee asked me to be there), so they could get parts/fix the body panels at least, however the owner was very aggressive, and didn't finish fixing even the first problem, just because 'he wasn't angry at me, just his guys' x3-5, so after all that, he kept on with his finger pointed in my face, and after the owner realized, that I had taken my suv, to a neutral third party, and found out, they hadn't replaced Major parts at all, that were most certainly, on my invoices(refused to print/pics only)?! I was charged for these items! i wasn't yelling at them, then an attempt was made after they had fussed/tried to fix the body panel(broken/still broken with several issues, yet to be fixed, in addition ELSEWHERE), while bossman kept his argument up, as I admitted that I could have made a mistake, yet he persisted with threats, until I had literally turned to leave, the owner knew I was recording him, yet still threatened me with violence, all the way to my truck/through the window, in front of customers?! At long last, I received no help, and I've cross referenced the first invoice, in which I was NOT mistaken. Only after finding out, that I had done this, did the owner lose his control, after already pointing fingers in my face x4, I asked him not to, and boy, did he take it the wrong way, while I was taking the pictures of these unprintable invoices? He then said, that he wasn't going to be 'helping' me anymore, In other words, he was revoking the Lifetime Warranty, on all body work, only after he said he wasn't angry at me, several times, then ripped up my truck, and I'm left to put it back together. I'll still pray for them, but they say all that, as a selling point, locally. They are not part of the Better Business Bureau, they can dead your links to Carwise, but I have screenshots, videos, pictures, receipts, and a recording of everything said, including outside my truck! I would never recommend this place, to anyone else, especially if you have to do any major work. $8.6k plus all in, only to hear how my Toyota FJ, was hated there, bc the owner made a comment on my audio recording, after listening again, that very obviously, TCCC's owner, didn't even know the difference between a Toyota FJ-40, 80's model(personally biased), vs a Toyota FJ Cruiser(07'-14'), TRD Team Ed. I read reviews about TCCC after a car wreck. I was very impressed with what I had read about the service. Sadly the service I received did not match the reviews. I came to TCCC after poor customer relations when talking with other body shops. I called TCCC and they were polite, assuring, and delightful. Then when I came in the young man that wrote up my estimate had the personality of a stale piece of bread. He was bland, dismissive, really acted like he wanted to be anywhere else then dealing with me. But I thought ok I'll give him the benefit of the doubt after all people are different. They assured me this was a two to three week job! They received my car it sat there a few days before they told me a part was on back order and wasn't sure when it would be back in stock. I thought ok! I understand supply chain issues are awful. They appreciated my understanding. The part came in and I dropped my car off. Three weeks turned into nearly double that. Every week the same story. It'll be done by the end of the week. By now I'm paying out of pocket for my rental car. The man with the terrible personality only proved to be what I originally thought. He was dismissive, wouldn't look me in the eye, and just had a bad attitude. But by now I thought, it's ok just let me have my car and I'll be happy. Then I went to pick it back up. One side of my car hadn't even been fixed!!! I said why didn't you fix this side? He just mumbled something about the insurance didn't approve it. I said well you knew I was as expecting this fixed. Did it not occur to you to pick up the phone and call me?!? He just shook his head and repeated the insurance excuse. To be fair the insurance company made a mistake. But this dismissive person just did not care about me the customer at all! The insurance company may be putting up the nearly 9000 dollars for this to be fixed but I'm the customer. If the car had been totally fixed I could've put this horrible experience behind me and I'd have been happy. But after paying nearly 500 dollars out of pocket for a rental car because they drug their feet on my 2 to 3 week job and ran out my rental with the insurance. Only to see they didn't even fix the entire car? No this was not worth the trouble! I had no more money for a rental so I took it on anyway. Instead of the aggravation of them keeping it even longer while I get things straightened out with the insurance. I'm writing this review a few months after I picked my car up because it's still a sore spot with me and I just want to say, If you get a gut feeling about them like I did after I met them for the initial estimate. My advice is to absolutely listen to it and go elsewhere. read more

They took an extremely long time to fix my car. The car was badly damaged, but the repair took almost 2 weeks longer than expected. I heard lots of excuses. I won't go here again if I need to have work done. read more

Getting my Toyota Highlander repaired at TriCities Collision Center was the worst experience I have ever had with any business ! Avoid this place at all costs. I took my vehicle there and was told it would be 6 or 7 business days to get the repairs done. Including the weekend which fell in the middle of this making it 8 or 9 days. Well 31 days later my car was ready. NOT ! I went to pick it up and the job they did sucked. A few of my trim pins and clips were missing. The plastic brush/spash guards under the front end were put on wrong and one end piece was hanging half off. A spot on the hood was rough from not getting clear coated properly. The passenger side headlight had twice the gap between it and the bumper as the driver side,which I am confident is because they put a bad new bumper on it seeing as the drivers side of the bumper is straight and the passenger side curves down and then back up below the headlight. On top of that I dropped my car off with 1/3 of a tank of gas in it but when I picked it up the gas light was on. So I took it to my insurance agent and told them of all the problems and told them I was not taking it back there and wanted to take it somewhere else. They said they would rather I took it back to TCCC to have them fix it right but I said I didn't want them touching my car again. They called TCCC and their manager,Matt,told them if I brought it back there they wouldn't charge me the $250 deductible. I told State Farm I would have to think about it. Well after about a month to cool off from the first bad experience there I decided to be nice a give them a chance to fix it correctly. Bad decision on my part. I brought it back. They did put all the trim pins and clips back in and installed the splash guards correctly but the bad bumper is still on it with a big gap under the passenger side headlight. Then when I went inside to get my keys and get my car away from these people the Manager Matt was a jerk. He said he didn't tell State Farm he would drop the $250 deductible even though State Farm had it documented that he did tell them that on Aug 29th. Then he said there was no way he was going to drop the $250 deductible. That is when I went off on him and reviewed all of the mismanaged screw ups which caused me to be without my car for over a month. He blamed it all on the parts suppliers as they did throughout the job. Well I reminded him that they ordered and received the parts before I even brought my car in to get fixed and if they had checked the parts when they came in I wouldn't of had to wait 31 days to get my car back : First,after they prepped my car to be painted they said that the fender or bumper they received was bad and had to wait for a replacement. It was probably a bumper since the one they put on is also bad. Then once they waited for that then got it and painted the car they discovered one of the headlights was damaged and had to wait for a replacement for that. Well after l lost it and started yelling at him after he said he wasn't dropping the deductible and told him how mismanaged the job on my car was he walked away from me and into their shop. So I went outside and called State Farm. I guess he came to his senses because he came outside and walked up to me with a nasty look on his face,gave me my car keys and said have a nice day then turned around and walked away. He never once through all of the screw ups apologized to me for anything. So now I'm stuck with a warped front bumper with a big gap under the headlight because there is no way in hell I will bring my car back to that terribly managed business. And this is a State Farm preferred bodyshop with a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. So sad. read more

They seamlessly coordinated the repair and delivery/pick-up of the rental car with my insurance company, and did a spectacular job on the repair. So let me start off by saying at first this place seemed great. Then it got to the repair process and they ordered the parts. Wouldn't you know it now their were two parts back ordered for an indefinite amount of time. This is understandable. So about 7 weeks later the doors showed up and I spoke to these people on the day after the back ordered parts showed up. I was told the truck will be ready by the end of the next week. I called on the Wednesday of that next week just to find out they haven't even started working my truck yet. Then the ignorant Cathy hung up on me because the truth hurts. So in total they have had my truck since June 5, 2018 as of this date it is now 9 weeks, oh and I still don't have it back. This place sucks. I would not recommend them to anyone. They can't keep a schedule and lie to your face. read more

Well lets just start off with, it took 7 weeks to fix my truck when the insurance estimated 18 days to repair. on week five after many phone calls I was told the truck was ready so I went to pick the truck up and after inspecting it, the paint had dirt in it, it still had damage to the suspension that I had to point out and I was told that I should of said something about ( insurance had it towed to them and that is your job to find and fix all the damage ) the truck has overspray all over the rear drivers door. It took another two weeks and many phone calls, my truck is finally ready. I leave work to pick it up and take the rental back and I hear something banging around, look in my mirror and the bed is moving around, yep they did not tighten the bolts up. so I go back and the only thing they can say about it is they could not drive it far because it was low on gas, well how about you put 10 bucks worth of gas in it and add it to my bill. I must say this was one of the worst experiences I have had to deal with and threw out the 7 week process they never called me to update me on anything and would never return calls I was the one that had to keep calling them.
