Dead car sitting for months for a recall issue with no resolution, no ride, zero concern from dealership. Service department tells me they have people with the same issue waiting for over 6 months with no car to drive. They don't know when an engine will appear, don't know what to tell me, toss out a toll free number and suggest I call Ford directly rather than trying to work with the customer and Ford for resolution. What ever happened to service advocates? Ford has closed one ticket and never got back to me with a resolution. Did not respond to multiple email and voicemail messages. I've reopened the issue with hopes of getting some kind of resolution. Meanwhile, I will tell the story and hope I can inform and save someone else a little indigestion. Update: have made multiple contacts to Ford. Rebuilt engines exist online; however, they will not agree to service or pay for a fix with alternate parts. read more

Today, I was very disappointed by the acting manager at Tri-City Ford in Eden, NC when I asked him to refund my daughter for shoddy service. I suppose all of those Super Bowl tv commercials convinced me that the best place to take a Ford when the 'check engine' light comes on is a GENUINE Ford mechanic. WRONG. TriCity Ford will not hold themselves responsible for failing a customer. Everyone already knows that going to the dealership for service is the most expensive option. This business takes that unearned 'best' notion straight to the curb. Our daughter's Ford FIESTA indicated that there was 'transmission failure' and while driving the automatic transmission was stuck in Low. TRI-CITY FORD charged her a flat diagnostic rate of $151.57 ("it COULD take from 2 minutes to five hours" said the manager). The service dept at TriCity said on May 5 2022 that "the repair would cost between $900-$1000, but that the parts might not be available for months." When I described the diagnostic device to the manager - while he was looking at our receipt - he confirmed that it was the same tool. This discussion with the manager took place 10 minutes after the owner of the used car lot where she bought this car fixed the problem in less than a minute using the same device TriCity Ford mechanics used, and he did it for FREE. After wasting about ten minutes of my life talking to the acting manager of the dealership, no refund was given nor offered from a business selling cars that cost tens of thousands of dollars. He even tried to blame-shift this on his service department, and I corrected him. "YOU are where the buck stops, you can refund this, and we are getting nowhere." And left. I won't be back. LET THIS BE A WARNING TO ANYONE FOOL ENOUGH TO ENTRUST THEIR FAMILY VEHICLE TO THIS BUSINESS. read more

Awful service and very dishonest representatives, had to some repair work done on my Camaro, after 3 separate times within 1 month of attempting to correct the problem they eventually told me it wasn't their responsibility, but would not return my initial payments that they received. These people are crooks and very deceptive, they take from hard working people and take advantage of their customers. Take my advice do not take your vehicles to Tri City or Smart Chevrolet all these business are in cahoots and are all theives stealing from those of us with less. read more

Cleve is the salesman to see and everyone else was amazing to work with as well! I checked around several dealerships for a 2019 Ford F150 XL STX supercab and wow this was the best deal beyond all other dealerships! The total processing time and out the door was extremely fast and efficient, better than a lot of other dealerships I have dealt with! I won't even consider buying from another dealer! One fantastic car dealership. Honest, no cussing, friendly, kind, considerate....gave me a coffee cup, full tank of gas, five ink pens, 2 free cokes, peanuts, a Bible, new floor mats, and free tire pressure gauge. The manager told the sales man they really went in the hole on me. My uncle's middle boy sold cars up at the Chevrolet WB in Bassett and sold places where they bury dead people. He did really good at both his jobs. He could sell anything.... cars, caskets, school candy, worn out shoes, you name it. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I called about a car that my 15 year old daughter saw online and told them I wanted to buy it. The salesman told me they couldn't sell it until it went through the service department. I asked if I could put money down on it to hold it. He said they won't talk about the sale until it went through service. I kept in touch with him for an ENTIRE WEEK and they kept telling me it still hasn't gone through the service department. Finally, after waiting a week, I called and spoke with the sales manager. He ensured me the car was held for me and I had first dibs on it. I even offered to pay for it and have it shipped. Well today I got a call telling me they sold it and wanted to know if they could help me find something else! Are they serious??? I then was transferred to the GM and he asked if he could find something else for me because he's the one that sold the car!! This is the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with in my life. The GM needs fired!! Now I have a daughter that is upset! Don't buy from these unprofessional and dishonest people!!! I hope this post hurts their business and some honest dealership benefits from it! read more

Honest, no haggling, friendly, good pricing, accurate advertisements, and excellent customer service. I bought a car due to the fact mine got crushed by a tree. When I test drove the car the button for the Eco Boost was turned off. It wasn't until the paperwork was signed and I was ready to drive off the lot that the button was explained to me. Now after driving the car for 2 weeks, I wanted that feature of the Eco Boost disconnected. NO ONE at the dealership knew how to do that. So I went to the sales department and talked the the manager. He was not there so I left a message. Got a call back about 2 hours later and he had no idea why I wanted that feature disconnected. I was so upset!! He had to Google for the answer. I asked the sales manager how long had they been selling this car, his answer was since November 2017. That is 4 months!!!! His sales people have been selling a car with a feature that they had no idea how it worked or how to turn it off. In sales you have to know your product that you sell, no matter what. Then I got a call from the general manager trying to buy me off and asking me for a 5 star rating when I gave them a review. NOT A DEALERSHIP ANYONE SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH!!! Would you have a job if you didn't know what you are doing? I do not think so. So the general manager told me NEVER TO COME BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND HUNG UP ON ME!!!
