I mentioned my concerns to someone there and they said to download the app and upload checks remotely. Yes please. Who likes going to the bank? The second concern was atm fees if I could not find an Umpqua close enough to me. Never had a problem. If I use my card at most banks (except BoA, but they are not that great anyway) I don't incur any fees, ever. They kept my business for as long as I'm on the West Coast. We called the main headquarters to see if we can get a same-day appointment at one of the branches. After our conversation, we were able to go to this location and meet up a gentleman by the name of Caleb. Caleb was very warm, friendly and very welcoming. He helped us through all the different steps to open the different accounts that we needed. We had opened a checking, a savings and a T.S. account as well which they had a great rate of 4.15% annually with a yield of 4.3%. he was super patient with us while we asked all the different questions about each account. We even asked about local food as well. Thank you again for everything. Definitely highly recommend recommended bank.
