I'm sure its quite challenging for the staff, so I wanted to thank those I've observed who are so kind and patient in dealing with a challenging customer, particularly Ishmiale. He has a really relaxed demeanor and was very sweet and patient to us, which makes all the difference to my father, when doing simple things that are more stressful these days. It's nice when a banker can even keep me calmer when trying to do things together with my dad, it helps our relationship. We left Wells Fargo yesterday with an account change that helps both of us, with my dad talking about Ishmiale's kindness during the transaction well after we left.

Didn't get a call back for the first 24 hours but did decide not to wait and called the local branch to try for a response. By the 4th day my husband walked back in and there she was- early 20's and clueless. Uh..... I had a problem with an accountant before her, and I hired her to help me fix the issue, which as far as the returns go she did. I also asked her to help me deal with FTB about the debt, and she basically did some procedure with them that took 6 months, before which I HIGHLIGHTED REPEATEDLY that I did not want to pay more interest, she responded that that account would be on hold and there would be no interest. Well at the end of 6 months, I ended up having to take the matter into my own hands, pay nearly 2000.00 dollars in interest. When ever I have any questins about anything I have to wait 2 weeks to a month, and our appointments never seem to resolve anything I repeatedly ended up calling FTB myself to resolve it. I am now about to pay more money for something she did and didnt take responsibility for. if you want straight forward work done, she will do a good job, but don't hire her to clean up any messes, it will end bad. I am grateful for her help, but it was AGONIZINGLY SLOW, and disappointing to have to do everything extra myself. I dont know that first thing about talking with FTB, or maneuvering their systems, and I was forced to resolve 'clean up' part of the issue my self, paying over 5000+$ for a bill that was originally 1800.00 or 2000. She made excuses that seemed legit but was really hiding behind the confusion left by the man who messed it all up in the first place (before I hired her) the extra money was over 60% interest for her mis information, and misleading me by telling me that the account would be on hold, and despite me asking and insisting if that meant NO INTEREST, AND HER SAYING YES THATS WHAT IT MEANT, I payed the interest.

This update is not so much a reflection on Keith's team as it is an indictment on State Farm in…read moregeneral. For the last 30 years I have had auto and home policies with State Farm. In that time, I have had zero accidents and zero claims that were my fault. I live in the western part of Chico where there is literally no wildfire risk. When time came to renew my policy, I was told that despite my home not being in a wildfire risk area and being a loyal customer for 30 years, they would not renew my home policy because of increasing risk exposure in California. I'll be the first to admit that wildfires are a problem in the state, but logical businesses understand that there are areas within the state with wildfire danger and areas without. Within 30 minutes I went to AAA who had no problem insuring my vehicles and home and I've turned my back on State Farm as they have done to every Californian. I encourage every single person with a State Farm policy to cancel it to run them out of the state entirely.
