I started coming here about 1 year ago with my new rescue and have been very happy. My pup has had a couple of mishaps in that time and they were either able to see her that day or advised me if it was necessary to take her to an urgent care. Always patient on the phone and consulted with the vet on call for me. So far I've been able to get both sick and vaccination appointments in a timely manner and the front desk is always polite. I've seen two of the vets and they both seemed to be caring and knowledgeable. I don't normally leave reviews, but am doing so here because after a horrible experience I had with another local vet, I understand how important quality care is for our pets and I want to let others know about my positive experience with Tri County. read more

Took my dog there for an ear infection. Was ordered prednisone. Came back and was ordered more prednisone. Im now up to 300 dollars and no change in ears. He never even looked with an otoscope. He then suggested an ablation of the ear! Took her to another vet who viewed the ear and did a C&S which found pseudonymous! Ear drops were made by the vet. After about 2 months of treatment she is finally 100% clear of the bacteria. THis is an extremely dangerous bacteria. If you have any doubts your beloved pet isnt being treated correctly please seek a second opinion. read more

Dr. John has long been a veterinarian we trusted deeply. However, the recent traumatic loss of our beloved dog and the way his staff handled the situation has completely shattered that trust and led us to leave this practice for good. Our dog was euthanized at the office on May 22, 2025. It was one of the most painful and emotional experiences our family has ever endured. That night, we specifically asked--twice--for a paw print to be made. It was an important and meaningful keepsake we hoped to have. Two weeks later, I received a call from the office saying my dog's ashes were ready for pickup. I asked about the paw print to ensure it would be included, and the staff member told me they didn't have one. I was devastated. When I explained that we had clearly requested it multiple times, she responded, "I know nothing about this." I asked her to please put someone on the phone who did know. She placed me on hold and returned to say, "Oh, we have it." When I asked why she didn't just say that in the first place, her response was, "She didn't check the box." That kind of carelessness in handling such a fragile matter was heartbreaking. Later, I called to pay for the ashes, as I couldn't bring myself to return in person and had asked a family member to pick them up. I was still emotionally fragile but trying to take care of the logistics. The person who answered became noticeably irritated when I asked for clarification about what she meant by "3-digit zip code." Her tone was condescending, and when I asked to speak to someone more compassionate and competent, she put me on hold abruptly--essentially hanging up on me while I was mid-sentence and visibly upset. The next person who answered offered no empathy, was dismissive, and came across as defensive instead of helpful. This entire experience has left me not only grieving my dog but also questioning my decision to entrust him to this practice. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and sensitivity from the staff during such a vulnerable time was inexcusable. I wish I could say otherwise, but I no longer feel this clinic is a safe or respectful place for anyone facing the heartbreak of losing a pet. If you are looking for genuine care, compassion, and understanding during one of life's most painful moments with your beloved pet, I strongly urge you to go elsewhere. read more

We took our 2 year old beloved cat to Tri-County animal hospital. He was seen by Dr Jeremy. He prescribed several medications, one of which stated FOR USE IN DOGS ONLY! We called next day to confirm this was safe, and was assured from receptionist it was "fine, we prescribe it all the time for cats!" NONE of the meds seemed to be accurate for what his symptoms were, but unfortunately we trusted this doctor! Sadly, just 2 days later, after following perfectly this vet's instructions, our beloved family member is dead. Our family is beyond heartbroken over his unexpectedly and untimely death. We've been to a lot of vets having moved several times over the last few years. None even compare to how amazing Tri-County is. The doctors take you seriously and don't try to upsell you on things you don't need. Last night our older beagle broke two teeth knocking into something and all vets were closed. I called tri county and their answering service picked up. It was such a relief to speak to a real person who assured me it would be okay and took my information. When they opened at 8am (much earlier than any other vet around) I called again (nervous dog mom) and it turns out I interrupted the receptionist calling me to set up an emergency visit! I couldn't believe how responsive and attentive they were for a dog I hadn't even brought in yet! Within an hour my wife had our dog in their offices and the whole appointment took 20 minutes. We left with medication and our very sleepy girl. I cannot tell you how relieved our whole family was that she came home quickly. She is asleep on the couch getting lots of cuddles and I am sitting here feeling so blessed to live five minutes from this office. Truly an amazing and compassionate group of people. Also- incredibly affordable for an emergency visit. I would have emptied my bank account to keep my girl safe, but I didn't need to. My only wish is that my dogs needed cheaper medication but I'll take it up with them read more

I own a hunting dog and this after a few weeks of research is where I decided to start. They came recommended by others that I know own hunting dogs. I liked that there where more than one get on staff unlike the last vet I had used. I can't attest to any emergencies or complications, thank goodness none have come up. But the staff are very friendly, the office and rooms are clean. Max did develop Tape worms this past year. A simple call and description and I was able to pick up a few pills. The rate charged is inline with other vets in the area. read more

Took my dog there 4 years ago and the old vet saved her life. We were so grateful! He must have retired because whoever they have there now sucks. My cat died waiting for an appointment. If you want an appointment less than a month away DO NOT GO HERE!! Told them She needed to be seen right away and they told me " you can always take them to the vet ER" like we have THAT kind of money. Must only out for the almighty dollar, because they sure do not care about your animals anymore. read more

This is my cats vet. We adopted him from furrever friends at a local petsmart almost 10 years ago. After about 2 weeks from adopting him he started to have urinary issues and furrever friends referred us to Dr. John. I always stress bringing any of my pets to any vet but Dr. John just eases my mind and always makes me feel everything is ok. He is so caring and kind. The staff is also very nice. I always feel so much better after sharing concerns with Dr. John. He is reassuring and even when my cat, Chase, was really having issues with urinary crystals Dr. John assured me he would fix him up and he did. We travel about 45 minutes to go there but it's worth the ride and the scenery is nice too with farm area and horses across the street. Also another plus is there isn't usually a long wait. read more
