The office seems outdated and a bit unclean and most of the staff was unfriendly, with the exception of the first tech who did kitty's weight. She was lovely! The doctor we saw was very rushed and business-like. He explained very little without being prompted and handled the kitten roughly and without compassion. Same for the two techs who drew blood, who lacked personality or "bedside manner". All in all, not a great experience. We won't be going back. read more

I brought my pet for vaccination and they did only partial vaccination with others due in a couple of weeks. They didn't mention it besides the second page of the report. I was charged for the office visit (they charge for a visit besides the actual treatment) and they said that I have to pay for another office visit to complete the vaccination. When I asked why they didn't do all vaccinations in the first visit, they couldn't provide any answer. Obviously, I will not visit this clinic anymore. read more

Guessed which cat had a uti, guess what? Wrong cat. Took them both to MT Laurel animal hospital. They extracted urine from each cat and confirmed which cat had the infection. We took our pet to Dr. Bell's office and will never return. We were put into an examining room after a brief time in the lobby, only to be left in there for 30 minutes with no reason given as to a delay. We listened to constant laughing and joking by staff but no evidence of veterinary care taking place. When we interrupted the frivolity to ask when the doctor could see us, a staff member said she would check and never came back with an answer. We realize emergencies happen but leaving patients and their stressed, sick animals in a room with no information is unacceptable. We left, never coming in contact with any doctor, never being given any reason for the excessively long wait, and no apology offered. read more

Their system deleted my account and were not accepting new clients (I was most definitely not new). When my husband called they refused to see us. (I did transfer ownership to my friend of our dog for his autistic son who asked for her. I had the dog switched over to him since his son has a hard time forming bonds and instantly has one with the dog). I think between the transfer of ownership and my cat dying. It got deleted. I called and spoke to a girl there and I told her the date back in September I had just been in there to have my cat put down for kidney failure and spent over 500 for the apt and cremation. I was put on hold and she came back and told me they could set a new profile up for us to keep coming back. Besides this mistake and one other in the past they are pretty good and fair priced. Good hours and weekend hours. They also have rectified each mistake which to me shows their commitment to their clients. Their doctors are very compassionate. read more

There were at least 6 front desk agents who were playing phone games behind the counter instead of ensuring their clients are taken care of. They let my highly medicated, highly dog aggressive canine sit in the waiting area with at least 10 other dogs for over 15 minutes when i had an APPOINTMENT. Tonight was my first time at Evesham Veterinary Clinic. My Mom recently passed away and I am now the caretaker to her dog. The woman who booked me over the phone was very friendly. When I arrived, the woman at the desk was very thorough & helpful. The tech was great with my dog who was very nervous and she happily answered all my questions. We took our cat for shots today and were there before the appt time. We pretty much got right in! BUT after the one girl weighed her and stuff we waited for over an hour! So while waiting I noticed how dirty the place was. The table has a rubber mat that our cat was laying on and it had white pet hair on it. I could see that you CAN lift the mat to clean under it, which apparently was NOT done for quite a while. There was dirt, dust, and animal hair all behind the mat. That's just messed up and not very hygienic. (This is supposed to be a health and wellness place for the animals)! Do they even spray the mat in between appointments? They should! So the woman came in and didn't know squat about our cat ie she was spayed, she had her shots last year, AND she was spayed THERE! Why isn't there a record of that? Now I know we have a part in this...we should've brought her paper work from last time I guess. But you would think they have it all in their system. Although the woman was nice, she didn't seem to know much. Then we were out waiting to pay our the bill and there's about 5 or 6 workers there doing stuff and one of them was talking with the other and says the F word out loud. What kind of place is being ran here?? VERY unprofessional!!! That's the last time we'll be there. 8 years ago my husband got a cat for our daughter. This cat is awesome but has had a number of illnesses over the years. I am an adult ID doctor. Whenever our cat is sick the doctors and staff at Evesham Veterinary Clinic always take the time to fit us into their busy schedule and always make him feel better. We also have a dog as well and whenever we need to get him re-vaccinated they always provide us with outstanding care. We just got a new kitten and will be taking him to the clinic for his care as well. Having animals is like having small children. Good care takes time. My partner said we've been waiting almost 2 hours to be seen. I've been coming here 14 years and i wait every time. Its very stressful on the animals. He starts breathing very heavy and says. 45 minutes past my appointment time and still waiting for a doctor. My pup and I are in a room that hasn't been updated (and possibly cleaned) in at least 25 years. Which explains why there are no pictures of the exam rooms on their page. If it wasn't for the fact that she was sick I would've walked out; had this been a routine visit I would not have stayed. Doctor showed up and was completely done within 10 minutes. As a first time patient, I wasn't asked any questions about her history, demeanor, appetite or anything related to her overall well-being. Had I not asked a question I wouldn't have known that they wrote her weight down wrong, under by 10 pounds which could have really impacted her care. I was prescribed an antibiotic and told the things to look out for then sent on my way, although it took another 15 minutes to check out. Our family has been going to Dr. Charles Bell at his Evesham Veterinary Clinic for literally decades....several dogs, a diabetic cat, and even a hamster. He is an amazing doctor with a huge heart. He was generous with his time and always fit us in when our pets needed medical attention, especially during the last few months when our Lab's progressive, disabling disease got serious. Our other dogs and the cat took the decision out of our hands, but with Ginger, he patiently saw us as often as we asked, answered weeks of questions, and finally helped us during our last visit...knowing what we suspected, it was time to let her go. I will always appreciate his medical knowledge, his patience, his kindness, but mostly how compassionately he treated us as pet parents and how he loved our fur babies. And our dogs knew it. He is such a role model that two of his children followed him into the profession. read more

The employees were less than polite or concerned about you or your Pet. The waiting room, exam rooms and building are in need of a serious make-over. Incredibly caring vets and staff. I have two cats. Attention to details and very good with follow up. They def get busy, and there are times I've waited too long. However, each Dr and staff is helpful and gets the job done. I must say with all the traffic they get, they need to do a revamp of the space. A full clean up and fresh coat of paint. At least in the exam rooms. Other than that, I'm moving and think I'll be hard pressed to find another clinic as good. read more

Dr Charles Bell is absolutely the best. I have been bringing my animals here for decades. He is not only fair in price but brilliant. Leo and Cersei needed surgery on the same day. I was a wreck bc they are short snout Boston Terries. Dr Bell was patient with me and explained how he will ensure they come out of anesthesia properly. Cersei's surgery was tricky. She had a mass right next to her hiney hole. He did a PHENOMENAL job with her surgery. And I am truly grateful to him. read more

Overall I'm so happy I found this clinic. - open late - often you can get same day appointment - really love Dr Charles bell - have seen many vets here and all provided good care to my cat - my cat is NOT good at the vet but these girls have it down to a science. They have special gloves and a muzzle (it actually calms my cat down so it's not a bad thing) - I was taking my cat to a different vet and she had become sick and not getting any better. In one visit this office properly medicated my cat and she survived. She absolutely would have died had I not come here. I only took one star off because the office could use some updating. In the exam rooms the floor is actually tinged yellow in areas. I think it's discoloration over time but yeah it needs a good cleaning and updating. Still, it doesn't stop me from coming here since I receive great care and they are open late. I'm a fan for life. read more

I went to this vet and when I went I took my cat because something was wrong with her ear. The doctor came in I guess he came from Texas or something. He put this Q-tip or whatever it was in her ear she wouldn't stop screaming I pushed his hand away and told him to knock it off with my cat then he gave her some ear drops and sprayed it in her ear when it said put three drops in. The place is so filthy and dirty is disgusting they need to rip this building down I have never gone back anybody's dog or cat get sick it's probably cuz of the filth in that place you don't know what other animals had and people are saying they've been there since 1987 than they are crazy I wouldn't go back and I would not recommend this place I care too much about my animals. read more

Dr. Barrett and her staff were caring, attentive, empathetic and showed kindness to both the cat and to us. The Vet who took care of my dog is good, professional and courteous even the one who removed the suture of my dog. But sorry for giving 1 star because one of the lady working in the front desk is rude. I thought this would be my dog's regular vet because they charge reasonable, clinic is outdated but at least it's clean and no smell. But, I was disappointed with this front desk lady. This is my family's regular vet but we got to visit while we were home a few weeks ago because one of my dad's dogs had a raging ear infection in both ears and we were the only ones available to take her. The vet clinic is fairly conveniently located right on Rt. 73 and it has a big private lot right off the building. Very convenient. It is also very large for a vet clinic. I couldn't see exactly but I would bet there were five or six exam rooms and there were a number of vets and assistants floating around on the afternoon we visited. Objectively and as an outsider, I was a bit torn. On one hand, they did the job. But on the other hand, I was not terribly impressed at the same time. On the plus side, they kindly fit us in for an emergency unscheduled appointment. But upon arrival at the time that they gave us, we waited a good 20 minutes in the waiting room and another 30 in the exam room before we saw the doctor. I realize, to be fair, that it was an emergency and unscheduled visit. But given that I didn't call until something like 1 in the afternoon and the appointment was at 3, I kind of felt like they should be able to better predict when someone would be free and schedule us in accordingly. But I did obviously very much appreciate that they fit us in period. In addition, they were a bit disorganized at the front desk. It's not that the staff was unfriendly. But there was kind of a lack of process. On both the check in and check out process, there seemed to be no rush to help us despite the fact that there were three or four people at the desk. The doctor we saw was proficient but was not terribly friendly and did not spend very much time both examining the dog or explaining things to us. But again I'm torn. He diagnosed and treated it correctly. But I just didn't like him very much. So I guess I'm settling straight down the middle. Clearly this clinic can take care of dogs and help them with medical ailments. But at the same time, I didn't love it and felt a tad bit uncomfortable there. I'm glad my family likes this clinic but if we lived in the area, I'm not sure I'd take my dogs here. read more

Amazing vet clinic. Super friendly staff, even when they had a line of people and pets waiting. The doctors were all so sweet. We had a cat emergency and they saw him the same day, after they had technically closed, because "if a patient is sick, we will see them. Come on in." The doctor gave him a shot and some medicine for the nausea, and said to come back in 24hrs if there was no improvement. By Wednesday our cat still wasn't eating so I called and we went in again. We saw a different but equally patient and caring doctor who did an x-ray and gave us options. We chose to have our cat stay overnight with an IV to get his strength back up while they did blood tests. The tests didn't pull up anything unusual, but our normally-friendly and sweet cat was getting "feisty" to quote the vet. That meant his strength was coming back. They had me call to check every few hours, and I got a full report each time. When I went to pick him up I was dreading the bill for all the tests, medications, and hospital stay. I was pleasantly shocked it was about a quarter of what I expected to pay!! This is one of the best vet practices I have ever been to - because they genuinely care about you and your pets. And you're not paying for a fancy new facility or any unnecessary office gadgets. You're paying for the top-notch care your pet is receiving. I only wish I had vets like this in some other states I've lived in before. We are so fortunate to be around the corner from such a great facility! read more

I took my 6 month old puppy to be neutered and had to drop him off early in the morning. I called mid/late afternoon- the surgery was still not performed. I called around 5pm- surgery finally performed. We were told pick up was between 7-9pm. We get there exactly at 7. My husband and I go to get our puppy and he is COVERED in feces and urine. Not a little. A LOT. We asked why our puppy wasn't cleaned up and they really didn't have an explanation. This was dried in and matted to the fur all over him. They clearly let him sit for hours in feces and urine for it to be matted and dried into his fur. We asked for Dr. Bell Sr. (Owner) to come in and talk to us and he wasn't the least bit interested in hearing our concerns. Comments to us were made "that's what you get if you have a fluffy dog" and "maybe you should find a vet who does grooming too" when we were leaving. We are so upset- I left in tears. We had to go home and wash cloth bath our dog covered in filth. We will never be back and will take our puppy to a vet clinic that actually takes care of him. read more

BEST VET EVER! I recently relocated from Denver and will travel to Europe. Dr. Bell and his staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the whole process. My kitten needed a full physical and microchip as well as shots. Let me tell you, Dr. Bell is so gentle and has such a calm presence, it was such a breeze! I understand is hard time with COVID-19 but these people are roude and terrible at service. They told me when I come I have to go in check - in and then they will get my pet. I did it and they did like crazy person screaming to me to go out. Because the person from the front door was for lunch! I call them and they answered after the third time. Also they have a sing GO TO THE FRONT DOOR FOR check in! Are you kidding me? And the building and everything it doesn't look very neat or clean! Just for the record. I've been going here with my fur babies since 1986 and highly recommend- thanks very much to Laura and her crew @ the front desk too. We went there today to put our beautiful Persian "Priscilla " down after realizing that her cancer had gotten the best of her. I called at 11:00am and had an appointment for 3:15pm. There were earlier times available but we chose the later one. ICYDK: this Clinic has mad hours- Laura instructed us to call from the parking lot so they could rush us straight into an exam room without having to wait. They gave us 8 minutes with our furry friend to settle in. Laura came in to confirm our wishes, quickly settling the financial matters in the privacy of the room. Our Vet and Vet tech were kind and professional- our cat had the inside of her leg shaved before she knew what was happening- the needle was in and she was instantly gone without discomfort or a sound. We were so grateful to be shown a back way out, crying, we didn't have to be seen in that condition by others and were back in our car to have some privacy. read more

My dog recently got terribly sick and was seen by our usual veterinarian in JC and we were told that he had no signs of improving from his disease and suggested we put our poor dog to sleep. I'm so glad that we went to evesham veterinary clinic even if it is far away from our home because they showed so much compassion to our dog and his situation. Dr. Moreno was very patient with us and explained every single detail about my dog's complications and ultimately offered us a piece of mind that putting him to sleep was not needed and he was improving. My dog was turned away from banfield pet hospital due to not having appointment and referred to red bank vet hospital emergency room for a minor limp..I carried my dog to banfield in a distraught condition and banfield couldn't even let a vet talk to me.. This place took him in, gave him a physical, pain medicine, and a bordatellla vaccine for $89. The vet actually talked me out of an unnecessary test that I wanted.The staff their was friendly and showed interest in getting to know my dog. Great place, highly recommended! read more

First and foremost, I'm from Northern New Jersey and veterinarians in my area were asking $800-$1800 for the cherry eye surgery. Dr. Bell charged me $205 for the SAME PROCEDURE!!! Not only was the price AMAZING, but when we got our puppy back, it's like the cherry eye NEVER existed. He's awesome, and gets the job done.
