Tri-Med is a First Class company. I came to Seattle from San Diego to care for my son after Ortho Surgery on his Ankle. The surgery was very invasive.Recover time is many months and he cannot put weight on his foot for some time. As his mother there was no way i would be able to get him up the 2 flights of stairs to his apartment. I called several Medical Transport companies but Tri-Med was the only won that was equipped to assist with stairs. I had an medical emergency with my health. This company charged me over $800 and refused to take payment arrangements, even though I had medical insurance. They refused and would not work with me. Then they sent me to collections and now is charging me $1,499 and demanding car payment amounts to pay it off. People need to be able to pay when asked to pay. This is crazy and unwarranted. They want to take your life and charge you without compassion. They are supposed to be the ones we depend on. had a very distressing experience with Tri-Med Ambulance when I was transported for severe hyponatremia. The crew was extremely rude and never introduced themselves. They strapped me into a stair chair that didn't allow me to vomit when I needed to, which could have been life-threatening. Upon arrival, they put me in triage and forced me to sit upright in a chair, despite my inability to do so. To make matters worse, they falsified the reporting. This experience was not only unprofessional but also dangerous. I would not recommend their services. The EMTs were Christa Hopkins and I believed Ee trainee Jonathon Hester He didn't seem to know what he was doing, but she, on the other hand was more focused on impressing in the fire department and talking about other peoples HIPAA protected information in front of me to impress the fire department she should be fired! I've used Tri-Med Ambulance about four times recently and the care we have received has been above and beyond. They came to her home, helped get her into a wheelchair and safely to her appointments and back. They always arrive friendly and with a smile on their face. First off the EMTs were awesome! It is their billing department. I called them to give my insurance information to cover the ambulance bill. I had a big argument with them because they refused to bill the correct insurance. I gave them the insurance information (Kaiser SoCal) but they said they will bill Kaiser WA instead. Got a letter from them stating I had no insurance. So, I called them again. They want to bill Kaiser WA but I told them to bill Kaiser SoCal. They finally took the correct information and billed Kaiser SoCal. A few weeks later I got another letter saying Kaiser SoCal denied my claim. At this point they are treating me like a deadbeat. They said Kaiser my coverage with Kaiser SoCal was lapse. I told them I will call Kaiser SoCal to see what is going on. So I called Kaiser SoCal. They looked up the problem and my insurance was OK. They said that the Tri Med claim was both illegible and incomplete. I called Tri Med back. I told them what a Kaiser SoCal said. They thought I was a deadbeat and lying. So they took my "story" to management. They did call Kaiser SoCal and called me back. Turned out their claim was both illegible and incomplete! read more

Trimed headquarters is actually in kent, but great crews. They respond with the fire department for 911 calls and can also be called for minor emergencies that don't need the fire department as well as transport by wheelchair van and on a stretcher. They do not respond to 911 calls UNTIL the fire department calls for them and they cannot go lights and sirens for your booboo. They are only allowed to if instructed yup by the hospital or fd so don't get mad at them. read more

the people in the ambulance are awesome!! however there billing department is horrible.... was rear ended on I5 by a semi. used this service and like I said the people in the ambulance where awesome. when I got the bill, because I was not at fault. I tried to call there office and give them the info they need to bill the insurance. ya tell me why the automated system says please hold for the next operator. Then right away goes to a voice mail and lets you know they will not get back to you for at least 24 hrs.... read more

Great experience. Shelby with the earlobes was friendly professional and took care and patience to transfer my grandma from apartment and put in the cabulance safely. Tri-Med offers great private transport for disabled folks. I have used this service for several years. The only limitation is that you must be going to a medical appointment of some kind.
