We have lived in our Tri Pointe home for three years now, and unfortunately our experience has been extremely disappointing. For a brand-new home, the amount of ongoing repairs has been shocking -- and many issues keep happening repeatedly because they were never truly fixed the first time. Here is just a portion of what we have dealt with since move-in: * Multiple fire sprinkler head issues * Garage door malfunction * Shower enclosure leaking -- not once, not twice, but three times in the same bathroom with the same leak, requiring repeated drywall remediation * Plumbing problems, including water seeping through the upstairs hallway ceiling and damaging the dining room below * Roof issues, including ridge tiles needing repair * And most recently, we discovered a side yard water intrusion issue that appears to have existed from day one -- now causing visible moisture damage and foundation concerns. What has made this even more frustrating is the declining level of customer care. In the beginning, the warranty team was willing to help, but after the repairs kept recurring, they became noticeably impatient and unwilling to look deeper into the root causes. Instead of understanding the stress this puts on homeowners, the responses started to feel dismissive -- as if we should simply accept these problems as normal. This is not what you expect when you invest in a new home. A builder should stand behind its work, especially when the same issues keep coming back year after year. Unfortunately, based on our experience, Tri Pointe has not delivered the quality or customer support that homeowners deserve. read more

Today I'm fixing the Tri-Point shower. In their infinite wisdom the vendor/contractor embedded or hammered the magnet into the frame in such a way where it cannot be removed. (See picture.) That will require another trip to store to figure out and was not done like my previous Tri-Point home 100 yards away in the same development which I replaced the cheap magnet 5 years back. As well, given my irritation on this I noticed my prev reviews might look like rants, so I included pictures of the cement poured in my front yard that I had to buy a jackhammer to dig it up. Pure lazy and/or poor vendor management. (3 pics) And the gutter pure design flaw that shoots water to painted wood on patio rather than putting 3 feet of gutter and routing it properly. (1 pic). All of which with a little more care would not cause the headaches they are today or will in the future. Nor will Tri-Point do a thing but tell you how wonderful their service is and they are here for you. Clearly negligent design flaws should be handled beyond warranty period. Hopefully you can see this was not some nut on a rant. It has taken a lot of time, effort, some sweat equity or labor and will in the future to correct these issues. read more

If you're looking for a home you have to visit Erin Thatcher, a New Home Advisor at Tri Point's Sage Court in The Preserve of Chino, Ca. It hardly rains here but, on that day, IT WAS POURING! As I ran toward the office the first thing I saw was Erin holding the door open. "Yolo?" She said, "I don't want you out there getting wet." She was ready and smiling, even though I was hours late and it was 30 min. to closing. "I'll be fast." I said, "don't want to keep you past closing." I meant it but it was well past 5 by the time I left. I returned the very next day, excited to show my husband, but by the time we got there it was after 5 again and the office was closed. From far away Erin saw me, returned to unlock the doors, and gave us a personal tour of Plan 4. To top it off, while closing the models she had fallen. She had a nasty scrape on her leg and a twisted ankle, but she never complained. "It only stings a little," she said, never rushing us. She just kept limping along answering all of our questions with a smile. It never feels like a sales pitch because she knows her stuff and believes in her product. She even lives in a Tri Point home herself. Who has the nerve to be there after 5 o'clock, TWICE! and expect to be attended to? I do apparently, selfish, inconsiderate me! And yet Erin has still gone out of her way to give me the best home buying experience possible. I tell myself that the reasons I love Sage Court are logical: the lower price for more sq ft, the beautiful & perfectly matched finishes, and the sparkling pools and big parks that come to life with people walking their dogs and families playing pickleball, but maybe it's because Erin makes the experience great. I appreciate that and in turn I appreciate the company she works for. It's a great way to start a great life in my new home. I really recommend you go see her if you have a chance. Purchased a home in the Beaumont area. If I had a Time Machine I would have used it. Please don't buy a home from here. There are infinite problems with my home, the craftsmanship is horrible. The numerous amount of beer bottles I found all over the home during construction phase should have beer a red flag!!! They rushed my home so quickly it was bound to have problems. Every construction worker did not speak English!! Every single person that I have had to deal with has lied to me from the very beginning. Amanda and Janelle in sales lied to me about interest rates and credit. Btw Amanda after purchasing my home, my credit scores didn't go up 50 points. They dropped 50 points. Both of those females will also not take your calls or call you back. Holis the building rep will not answer your calls or text messages. Please beware and do your research before buying a home, but do yourself a favor and do not make it a tri point home!!! read more

TriPoint Rosedale. Homes are ok. There are product quality and vendor issues that should be reviewed if buying a home. 1) if you have a yard be aware you may find building material, roofing tiles, siding rocks, and concrete poured in your yard just below the surface. 2) Large double pane windows have film and streaks inside the double panes meaning cheap contracted material. 3) materials used whether it be lighting or walls, or flooring are somewhat cheap materials again. 4) tubs/showers modular & cheap 5) Sinks/fixtures moderate. 6) toilets - you guessed it. 7) gutters - sometime they have them sometimes they don't but be careful as they'll leave water disbursement coming done on area of first story they shouldn't or dumping into your yard. 8) Garbage disposal will last about 5 years but build grade junk. 9) Tankless water heater have been good but you need to service them. A/C has been good. 10) Make sure u get color palette info before u close or at closing. read more

Property: Canvas Anaheim I had an amazing experience with Tri Pointe as a builder, agency and lender. The entire process was so smooth that the home purchase didn't feel "big" in scope. I hear a bunch of horror stories about getting mortgage approvals and etc, but this was so quick and easy. It really felt like any other day and no headaches at all. Cannot make a single complaint about the process. Everything was super simple and straightforward. Additionally, the front office always answered my calls no matter how annoying I was. I constantly pestered them with questions about the homes, upgrades, and they even went to the model to measure things for us when we were shopping for furniture for the house. WOW. The fridge fit perfectly because the front office helped measure it when we could not stop by. World class service. The construction manager Chris was amazing as well and is passionate about the project. There was an issue with our countertops and they replaced the entire thing to ensure the quality was perfect. That is truly A++ Customer service!!!! The homes have an amazing layout and are unique when compared to other comps. The price is really great to if you got in an earlier phase but still good at a later phase. We looked at many other new constructions in Orange County, but this had the best value and layouts by far. It is right by the packing house and Disneyland which is a huge benefit. The amenities are great as well, except there is no gym which is the only downside. The streets are very big and offer plenty of parking. It's not tight driving through and there is always ample parking. Upgrades are expensive and a bit of a rip-off. This is how these construction companies make money. It's the upgrades that net profit. That is how it goes with all new builds, except the very select few that you do get what is shown in the models. However, pick wisely and do not go over budget. If you can reserve some cash on the side, we upgraded the more pricey things with a third party and saved a ton of money. Not all can do this, but if you have money outside of the down-payment/loan, do your own upgrades with a third part contractor at the fraction of the cost. We did the floors, crown moulding and some other things outside of the builder. The Train -- yes, the property is next to train track, but you honestly barely ever hear it. The train is so fast that it comes by in a couple of seconds. It's not loud at all even when you are outside... For anyone who is complaining about the train, please go to Northern California or any area outside of Anaheim to listen to a real train. Those trains are LOUD and annoying. Typical trains also have loud horns, but the one that passes by does NOT use horns. The train here is super quick and quiet, that it's not an issue. This did not change our perspective on the property and the people who complained about this are too cynical and never lived by a real train with clacking tracks, loud hours and no privacy wall. This is the quietest train we have ever heard... All in all, this is a beautiful property, beautiful homes, great amenities, professional staff and an amazing construction crew. I hate to leave such a negative review, but there the buyer experience with Tri Pointe Homes was an absolute nightmare. It began with a general interest in the community. My partner and I had called to set up an appointment to visit the community with our relator. We arrived on the site and were given the cold shoulder and were quickly brushed off by the sales team. When we were able to speak with a sales agent, we were told that our timeframe was too long and really didn't fit the current timeline of the community. Fast forward a few weeks and we noticed that Citro was running a special where if you reserved a lot, you would receive a $50,000 design center credit AND an interest rate of 5.65%. My partner and I discussed this and made the call back to the community. We arrived and learned that one of the lots had fallen out of contract and that it would be ready by the end of June (lot 479). The purchase price was $798,000. Now I don't put this figure out there for nothing - it becomes important soon. We toured the specific lot and decided that we wanted to move forward with reserving it. The whole mood of the office changed. We were asked if we wanted water or soda, if we wanted a snack, and everyone was super friendly. Once we got into the details, we were informed that the previous buyers allegedly put in $100,000 of upgrades to the home prior to them backing out - we should have followed their lead. Therefore, we were not eligible for the $50,000 promotion. In lieu of this, we were informed that the seller would take $50,000 off the purchase price. The sales representative printed off a worksheet with a purchase price of $748,000 and an interest rate of 5.65%. The representative went to grab something from her manager and came back and said "Oh, you actually don't qualify for the $50,000 credit towards the purchase price." She then printed off another worksheet with the same interest rate but now a purchase price of $798,000. We decided to move forward with entering into the contract despite this flip-flopping. We signed the documents and provided our deposit. Now this deposit was $17,000. Seemed really high for us and was a good chunk of our savings. About a week after signing the documents, we were informed that we did not qualify for the interest rate of 5.65% because the purchase price of the home did not exceed $799,000. To say I was shocked is an understatement. This company knows what they are doing. They are manipulative, aggressive, calling multiple times a day to receive the contact and deposit, and unresponsive. My partner and I decided we wanted out of the contact. We sent emails, texts, phone calls, and no response. I escalated this to the regional office manager, and she too did not return my calls, nor emails. She promised to get back to me within 24 hours - failed to do so. All in all, please save your time, effort, and money. Tri Pointe homes cannot be trusted and they will do everything they can to keep your deposit, but fight! Don't let them bully you! read more

I am not employed by Tripointe, in case anyone from the company is looking for who to fire for writing this review. Just make things right. Please do not purchase from Tripointe Homes- Southern California until they start treating their employees with dignity and respect. The company is understaffing all design teams in the region and reaping the benefits. Every design consultant in the region is suffering, having to work seven days a week, 15 hour days, just to keep up. Tripointe recently purchased Pardee Homes and when the pandemic hit the company was fearful that the housing market would suffer but it did not. Tripointe has not hired any support for their current design consultants. These employees at the "bottom of the totem pole" are suffering mentally, emotionally, and physically from the unrealistic demands that the top of the company is expecting. New managers who were hired after the pandemic occurred, and have not been with the company for very long, are blaming the designers, who have been loyal employees to the company for years, for not working efficiently enough. It's not right. The people at the top of this company are making a tremendous amount of money because they have laid off so many employees due to the fear of the pandemic crashing their business, and then not rehiring when the business started to boom. It's not about the money for these designers, it's not about anyone wanting a raise, but there are employees who can't spend time with their families because they are working so much. The design team earns commission. They would rather have support at work and make less, than continue working 90 hours a week. I know it may sound like a silly problem to have, having to work too much during a pandemic, but there has to be a balance. Design team employees are having to check themselves in at the hospital from the amount of hours they are having to put in and it's still not enough. You are not going to get the time and attention you and your beautiful new home deserve because Tripointe has chosen not to staff their design centers appropriately. The designers will tell you that themselves. They will apologize from the get-go that they are going to try their very best to give you the time and attention you deserve and that they know you deserve but there isn't enough hours in a day when they are already working seven days a week, and that is including their two days off that they no longer get to take because they are so buried in work. Please buy from another builder until Tripointe fixes this issue. Nothing is going to change when the top of the company is making so much money and the employees that make the company run are literally burying themselves into the ground. read more

ATWELL COMMUNITY Beaumont. Bad Bad Bad experience! From their home advisor, to sales person, to the loan consultant. This place had us waiting and waiting and waiting..... then finally got an email from them that they are opening the Lots for picking and asking us to reapply again again again.. verification this and that letter here and there. We did everything they ask and on top that they raised their price from 20 to 35+ while waiting. At the end we just got tired of the run around. Such a mess! They can't handle the demand and still taking new clients. Now almost everyone I know is backing out. One of our friends daughter got turned down due to change of jobs and they had put down a down payment. Please do yourself a favor and read all the 1 start review. Most of these 5 starts are not real and probably paid a Starbucks gift cards. I hope Tripoint and the Pardee homes reads all of our concern and get rid of their seller/advisors and whoever is in charge of it. before someone start a lawsuit. My husband and I bought our home last September. We had a two month waiting period while the home was being built. During the process, everyone was super helpful and friendly (trying to make that final close of escrow). We watched the house grow from a dirt lot to the final product and we attended all of the walk-throughs (they even forgot to show up to our first walkthrough). After the final walk-through, we noted everything that needed to be fixed. We were told everything would be done before we move in. The staff was very friendly and we were super happy with the customer service leading up to the final day we closed escrow. Cut to our move in date. We move in to the house, high on cloud nine to experience our first home together. We notice some small things that never got fixed: garage door doesn't shut properly, dish washer runs and runs without shutting off, kitchen cabinets don't close, missed spots in corners that never got painted, etc. We notified that same helpful staff from before... but now that they've closed escrow, they couldn't care less. Although we have a one year warranty on the house where they're supposed to come and fix things, they seem to not want to honor it. It was like pulling teeth trying to contact people. Numbers were disconnected, employees had been let goand we were basically ignored. Then, after a week of living in our home, our front yard sprinklers break (the ones they installed). Once they turn on, they don't shut off. Our front yard started flooding and our desertscape plants started dying. We attempted to call tri pointe, with no help. After weeks and weeks of waiting, they finally sent a gardener out. Gardener told us he checked everything and we have an issue with the main plumbing line. We need to call a plumber. We tell tri pointe they need to send a plumber. We go back and forth. After another few weeks, they finally send a plumber. The plumber shows up and has no idea why he's at the house. He says he was told we have discolored water. I inform the plumber that our water is not discolored. I give him the rundown of what's going on with our water line, and I tell him our water bill is extremely high because our sprinklers don't shut off. Plumber is annoyed and tells me that's not a plumbing issue, we need to contact the gardener. I tell him our gardener has been to our house several times, and he has even flushed out our system several times. Plumber basically tells me to go pound sand in a nutshell. He's doesn't even check outside, doesn't check the sprinklers. So it's 3 months later and our water line is still messed up. Our brand new backyard and front yard are flooded. Nobody from tri pointe answers their phones. I'll be sending tri pointe my water bill every month until somebody contacts me about this issue. I will also be getting a lawyer to resolve this issue. Update: I'm changing my review to 4 stars because things seemed to have taken a drastic turn since I wrote this. Not sure if it was the review or some other forces, but Tri Pointe suddenly have a new staff in my area. They contacted our household and finally helped us solve our issue. Sometimes all it takes is a little push. They have since been very helpful :) We are loving this new home now, with only some minor issues that come along with any new home. read more

I was really excited about purchasing one of these Tri Pointe Homes....but with the MAJOR lack of communication (and a waste of 7 months waiting to be offered a home that I was told would be no more than a 60-90 day wait), I have decided to move on. I turned down 4 other offers, with just as many builders, waiting for Tri Pointe. Not only have interest rates gone up from 2.75%, the homes have now increased by $30k plus. My biggest pet peeve with this company is that in the 7 months that I have been WAITING, NOT ONE New Home Specialist has reached out to inform me of any delays (which would have made me a little more understanding about the wait time). The only time I have received any kind of response, was after MY REALTOR AND I called them. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If this is how they handle potential buyers, I can only image how they treat the homeowners. read more

I will not be writing anything malicious and writing something negative is something that I normally would not waste my time doing but here we go. First off I just want to say their homes are beautifully built and look amazing. Wow. So I was literally about to sign to purchase one of their homes in the community of Alston in Anaheim but the deal fell through because I wanted changes in the contract that me and my agent felt were pretty standard. I was already prequalified through my lender and even through tripointe connect which is the in-house lender so essentially I was good to go.Some of the changes were that 1. I wanted to have an inspection on the house and needed to change the right of buyer termination offer which was a five day period and the inspection day fell on the fifth day 2. I already had an outside lender that I wanted to use and they put their own lender 3. Already had me pre checked for solar which I was not interested in. The salesman got upset and hung up on my agent and voided our contract. None of these requests seem unreasonable and seem pretty standard to me but the salesman refused to change the contract. Trying for force someone to use their lender is illegal I'm pretty sure. Well I really wanted to purchase and move into this house. I am pretty bummed about it and it is unfortunate because their homes are beautiful. I hope other people have better experiences than I do but just left a bad taste in my mouth that I was about to sign and had the rug pulled out from underneath me. read more

I absolutely do not recommend Tripoint and their lenders. We were in the process of buying a home and found out that the property taxes where really high so we asked if they would finance another house and we were told yes. We went through the process of finding another house and opened escrow. Everything was good, then our finance rep was not getting things done, she did not order the appraisal and it came down to almost losing the house over that seller was ready to withdraw. Then the rep messed up the numbers severely and we where told they could not finance us after we already had our house sold and they did not care. Had to find a new finance company in the middle of escrow and get things done ourselves. Huge waste of time with them so glad we did not buy from them read more

Throw their homes together as quick as possible. People seem nice that you talk to on the phone, but warranty items get closed and say they are complete when nobody even came out to the house to look at the issues. Turn around time to deal with the issues takes way too long. However, this is understandable because they have so many issues in the neighborhood they can't possibly get to anyone in a timely manner. The absolute best! We purchased our TriPointe home this past year. The process was an absolute breeze from start to finish. We were able to get in early in the building process, which means we got to fully customize our home. Our home is beautiful and we could not be happier. I have to give a HUGE shoutout to TriPointe's customer service department- especially our initial rep Brian. Anytime we have needed something from them post close-of-escrow, they have been so responsive. I'm talking like at-my-door-in-20-minutes-flat, responsive. They take customer service extremely seriously and that is rare. In fact, our own broker was shocked at how important it was for the TriPointe team that everything gets taken care of, and told us that the builder of his own home effectively disappeared on him after closing. I also really appreciate Mo and Sheila, the agents at the sales office. They were always welcoming and took great care of us throughout the process. (Shoutout to Mo and his cat socks!) I honestly feel like all the people at TriPointe are kind of like family now! In addition, I feel that it is important to keep in mind that when you buy a brand new home, there will always be some kinks you have to work out. In fact, Brian had told us that from the start. He was up front, and told us to expect problems here and there, but to just let the team know as soon as possible so they can take care of it. My wife and I purchased our beautiful home from them about 4 years ago. Their Agent Jamie was very polite and helpful. Her knowledge about the process and the home itself helped us make a very informed decision. After comparing them to other builders in the area we felt confident that Tri Pointe was the way to go. Since we purchased our home we only had one small leak. We were worried that we would have to pay for the repair because our warranty had expired, however their customer care representative Gary was very prompt in scheduling some professional repair with out any cost to us. We have had friends purchase homes from Tri Pointe after they have seen our beautiful home and inquired about the builder. Every contractor and real estate agent I talk with agrees, TriPointe delivers a quality product. From the sales team to our final year end walk thru, the process has been smooth. I'd like to especially mention their customer service rep., Diane, who oversees the walk thrus, service requests and just about anything a new home owner can throw at her. She's the best and has been always patient and responsive with any request or question we've had. If you get the opportunity to work with her just know you're in good hands. I wish others would have left reviews before I allowed tri point to pull my credit. They are very nice while you look through the model homes and suggest that you get on the priority list by first getting ore approved through their lender. Once you do this they hold the cards. I suggest asking how many people are on the "list" and how many models they have planned that you are interested in. Once on the list you wait and wait for them to release homes, but they will not tell you how many people are a head of you. Or how many want them same model. They will tell you that they don't know what people want. Which is not true. When a release comes up they ask what you are interested in. This gives them an idea of who to call if something falls through. They don't just start back over at the beginning of the list. I know this because they had a big fall out with people that were approved but without the qualifications they were looking for. I understand from a business point needing to have options from people on the list and to sell your products. But remember customers are customers. Treat them with respect ( one of the workers did the other not so much). They will sell their properties and they look great but as far as helping you plan and keeping peace of mind they will do nothing for you. The process is brutal. We are now in our home and have spoke to neighbor we have had over 15 service requests to repair things. And some of our neighbors have had over 30. It's nice that they fix all the things, however beware. If you have a Mon-Fri job well each of these repairs only happens mon-fri and you will need to miss work, go in late, or come home early. OR you can give them a key to your home that is not done right in the first place. read more

Recently moved into our new home end of last year. I have to say that we did have minor issues when we moved in that they are typical with any new construction of a home. However, we were concerned initially with the response but after a few request and a few changes within the company we got results very quickly. I'm happy to say that everything in our home is finally up and working and we finally can enjoy our new home. If you're looking for a beautiful home, I recommend you check them out. The functionality of their homes are terrible. I have purchased homes from the 90's with less problem. My current complex is going to sue the builders. I have had structure issues, Plumbing issues, and door issues with the people who build these homes. I will stick to shea and toll Brothers. Then received a text from Wanda saying that I needed to answer the "required questions." I asked for clarification since I had already answered the questions. Then she sent me some questions listed randomly, making me think those were sample questions I needed to find online. I had to ask her where she wanted me to answer them, text or online, or email? The conversation went on with her unprofessional tone in the text. Then she wanted to cancel my appointment just because I asked for clarification? Hopefully they have better advisors there. Dirty unethical scumbag homebuilder = Tri Point Homes. For example, the appliances they include are something you would expect to see in a mobile-home or ghetto neighborhood, not an expensive home. Bottom of the line cheapest appliances you would be embarrassed to have in your home. Also, the very cheapest possible carpet is standard here. For countertops, they only give you two color choices, even though they have dozens of home choices! And both choices are very ugly, both grey, super cheap, dated, granite, the stuff that older 1990s homes have. And the flooring is even worse, $1 square tile, the absolute cheapest you could ever find at a discount store. All of that stuff is standard in an expensive new Tri Pointe home. I could go on & on. Their scam is to force you to upgrade on absolutely everything, and pay $50,000 to $90,000 more than the home is advertised for. The model homes are very nice at Avance, but they are priced at $100,000 to $150,000 more than their advertised "base price". What a scam! Can't at least some of the standard stuff be normal or decent or usable? An ethical company would show the price of the model when you walk into it, not some $120,000 fake price lower than the actual price. Lastly, this scumbag company charges huge additional 'lot premiums' for every lot. If every single lot has a base premium, that should be included in the advertised base price! It reminds me of those scumbag hotels who charge a huge 'resort fee' even though they dont advertise the fee or allow you to not pay it, only Tri Pointe's scam in on a much grander scale. First time home buyers beware. These sales centers and staff will take you to the cleaners and treat you like garbage. With bait and switch techniques like tons of phases with small numbers of units means the builder is going to tax you and makes an fake sense of urgency. If you do find something you like, good luck with design center, they most likely will have already claimed you are pasted cut off dates and are now stuck with pre-selected BUDGET options, for example cabinets, counter tops, flooring.... basic things you would want to customize in your own home. Beware of this builder! We have unfortunately made a mistake a bought our 'supposed to be' dream house from them last year. Previously called Winchester Homes. We could have never imagined how many issues there will be with the house. Their warranty is handled by ProHome and they just don't communicate and don't deal with any issues so it's a complete scam. Please save your hard earned money, nerves and frustration that there's nothing you can do and go shopping elsewhere! We wish we knew and didn't do it. read more

Tri-Point homes are what they are. They are built in great quantity and they are built FAST. Therefore, I understand if there are going to be some issues. It's quite predictable, especially considering all of the things that can go wrong with a house. HOWEVER, what is not acceptable, is a customer service system set up that is so incapable of providing decent service. I won't bore anyone reading this with the lengthy details of every issue I've had, but the short story is, if you are fortunate enough to have a rep come to your house to address an issue, they are always defensive and resistant to accept fault, even when it's blazingly obvious. For example, I have a main door to the house that at times, requires great force to open. Upon casual observation, it is easy to see that it leans to one direction and was simply installed sloppily. The "helpful" fellow who arrived to inspect the door turned to me and said "does this door get sunlight?..". I kid you not. He was preparing to blame the sun for the door not opening and closing. As a side note, NO, the door does not get direct sunlight. I'm pretty sure that the guys who frame these houses have never heard of the fabulous invention --The Level--. Their customer service system is clunky at best. You can't easily find a phone number on their web site and call a customer service department that I'm aware of. You have to create a user profile online with a separate company (Compendia), log in, fill out a form and wait. The first time you access the site you have to enter some magical code that is hidden on one of the cabinet doors in your home. Do you remember that the code even exists? Do you remember the purpose of this code from 8 months ago when you bought the house? How about what cabinet door it's stuck to? How about what web site you have to go to? (oh wait, it's on the sticker you don't know about). Who do you call if you don't know about this fabulous system? What if they never put the code on your cabinet door to begin with? (code sticker installation probably forgotten by the same guy who installed the main door at a 10 degree angle...) Can you imagine how an older person who doesn't speak English well is able to deal with this insane system? It's a labyrinth of convolution. Here's a crazy idea. How about an old fashion phone number a person can call and speak to a customer service rep? Kinda like any other company that loves to stay in business? You'd think that when they are selling basic 3k foot houses with postage stamp lots for over a million dollars that they could spare a buck or two on somebody to answer the phone. I could go on with many more examples of their exemplary "service", but I'll spare you. You get the point. read more

Yesterday I saw a sign outside a community in Ontario, Ca! Buyer Beware!! My wife and I were heading in to look at homes! There were contractors looking at, what I think was a model home with foundation issues! Whoa!!! Buyer Beware is right!! If their model homes have issues...how are the rest going to be!!! I'm not gonna put my hard earned money on the line with Tri Pointe...too many better choices out there! Needless to say...my wife and I will be looking elsewhere to buy!!! read more
