I purchased a vehicle that only came with ignition keys and desperately needed some help as quickly as possible. I don't actually use their service after calling them for a quote, two reasons: 1. Their price is higher than others in Pleasanton, $95 for opening and replacing mailbox lock, other places asking for about $75 2. Their strange pricing system, if you only want them to open the mailbox and will replace lock by yourself , they still charge you $95, which is ridiculous, well, maybe idea behind this can be translated into "we give you the lock replacement for free, we just charge opening" sounds good?LOL you can find better deals other place, so don't use them at least for mailbox open read more

When my backyard sliding doors locked me out of the house, a neighbor helped me out and called this locksmith for me. He came really fast which I was really grateful for because I didn't have to wait too long. He re-keyed my locks but with the super high cost of $110 that he charged me, I thought the re-key service would come with 2 keys as most rekey services do. He gave me the key that he used to open the house. I requested another one to give to my husband but instead of giving the 2nd key for free, he charged me an additional $5 to have an extra key made! So, it's a total of $115 to get myself back in my house. It felt like a rip-off. That's why he is only getting 3 stars from me. However, if that still sounds reasonable to you then go ahead and hire this business in your time of need. I will still recommend him because of how fast he showed up. I want to mention what a great job Daryl Dana at Tri Valley Locksmith did for me this evening and that I'd recommend him again to anyone. I came home from work today to find that the front door deadbolt was not working--meaning the front door was unlocked all day. It was a little unnerving and facing the prospect of it being unlocked all night, I dialed Daryl at 7:07pm based on a recommendation from someone else. He was at my house by 7:30pm (and it might have been sooner but I was busy with my kids). Before he even got here he had already asked me questions about the lock and had an idea of what the problem was. Not only did he fix the front door in no time flat, he re-keyed our office door, provided advice for a door that continually sticks and made two extra sets of keys.
