I would like to acknowledge the superiority of two of Triad's staff. Firstly an exceptionally polite and incredibly helpful receptionist named Brittany at the front desk. She was instrumental in assisting me concerning my insurance. She spent time talking to me, providing me with intelligent, professional help navigating my appointments. Thank you Brittany!!! Also I want to applaud the technician, Miss Key Chandler. She also was very polite, intelligent & went above & beyond to make my 3 hour appointment incredibly comfortable. She was beyond friendly & truly put me at ease, explaining every procedure as we went along. BOTH Brittany at the front desk, and Key the technician made my visit incredibly comfortable. Front staff very unprofessional and rude Ladonna was blatantly racist impatient and said I had an insurance I haven't even heard of. As soon as I walked up and said my name she said we don't take your insurance and proceeds to tell me the name. I said I don't have that insurance and never have. I then proceeded to tell her my insurance and that I called twice about it before driving two hours to this appointment. She is quiet then says sign the signature pad I need two signatures when I asked for what she huffed and I said what am I even signing do I get a copy ? She was very rude and said no then said yeah but it won't have your signature it'll be just an information paper you can read over. Then the manager, Madeline, comes over because I'm asking questions and every time I spoke she spoke over me about insurance and my question was at that time not about that but she wouldn't wait half a second to let me speak! she was even more rude. I can tell this is how they really are; they don't even try to hide the racism and extreme rudeness. I drove over two hours one way to see what I thought was a really great doctor I won't get the chance to find out. After making me wait over 30minutes (keep in mind I had the first appointment of the day) I asked for my money back and decided to leave. There is absolutely no way I'm giving my money to a company that's rude condescending and racist. PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A WARNING.... Your eyesight is extremely important and the people you choose to care for them should treat you just as important.. regardless of your skin color. Don't be fooled. This place is a factory of eye surgery. They put the WRONG lens in my left eye. When I contacted them regardlong the error they offered to exchange the lens, but it would be at a higher risk. they also informed me they would bill Medicare for. their mistake. We had my husbands appointment for Tues at 12:45. Monday someone called and said the appointment was for Wednesday, so we called back to the original office and was told yes it was Tuesday. Arrived on time, surgery went well. However, got half way home and asked where the patch was and my husband said they didn't give it to him. Called back to the office and they said yes he needs it so come back and get it. When we got home he realized they had not given him his glasses back. After 4 phone calls no one seems to know where they are. Very frustrating to have to keep going back for something they should have made sure the patient had when leaving. Someone needs to be more in charge of the whole experience so there are not so many issues. When you are having someone cut into your eyes it would be much more comforting if things went smoothly. read more

This is our 3rd time seeing Dr. Mary Ahluwalia (the glaucoma specialist) and she is rude, unprofessional, always being short with our appointments. my mother doesn't speak good english so i called in from out of town to help translate for her. while we were conversing and asking questions about the treatment, Dr. A raised her voice and gave us attitude. when i confronted her to be more professional, she said it was bc she was trying to be louder since i said "excuse me" earlier. i know the differences between a loud voice vs. an attitude voice. even though i was not there physically, both my parents also agreed that it was rude due to her body language and the way she was talking to her. not only that, the 3 times my mother was there, she said Dr. A always being supper short with her. they made her wait an hour before seeing her for like 7 min and then rushed out the door half-way through to ask if we have any question. it feels like we were not important in her schedule. how do you expect a patient to trust their doctors to treat something so important when you can't make us feel welcomed and trusted? we will not continue the treatment at Triad and will be transferring to another institution. read more

I don't know where the negative reviews come from, I guess some people just like to complain. I have nothing but high marks for Triad Eye here in Muskogee. I have never been there before but stopped by with a scratched cornea and within 30 minutes was seeing a doctor. The very nice receptionist even helped me fill out my paperwork because of the pain I was going through and the lack of vision. Dr. Baggs was a great doctor explaining things fully. My whole visit was met with professionalism every step of the way and I will gladly return. read more

I'm not surprised they are rated at 1.9 stars. I would never suggest this clinic to anyone. the doctors ignore everything the patients say. I've never had a single issue with my eyes. however once I did I came here and got zero answers but they were glad to have me coming in every other week to collect extra money from me. read more

My lens's surgery was truly amazing! The surgery center runs like clockwork! I can't say enough how happy the surgical aspect has gone. However, the follow up appointment system is a mess. I have been for four appointments one each week and every time I have waited 45 to an hour to even get back! On average a simple vision check follow up with no problems takes About 2 hours!! If you decide on triad make sure you designate at least that much time for each follow up appointment. I hope they fix this problem bc it a great facility. read more

My husband had a severe eye injury from sulfuric acid and was referred to Triad by the ER for further care. The ER physician called in advance to let them know we would be coming. Upon arrival, my husband was unable to open his eyes and was shaking he was in so much pain. It was a work related injury and we were informed they don't do workers comp. I said I would just pay out of pocket and was told they would not see him because they "didn't want it to come back on them." Not entirely sure what that means, but I was informed by another eye clinic that REFUSING to see an injured person in distress is in fact illegal(not to mention unethical and cruel). Triad could not care less about human beings suffering. I am sure there are wonderful doctors here, but they work for a crooked company built around selfish and unethical monsters. read more

do not let them sell you cataract surgery when you have dry eye conditions. always get a second opinion. you can not get their cheap lens replaced with a good one after the fact. eyesight is ruined in the eye i let them operate on. another clinic treated and cured my dry eye symptoms but could not repair the damage they had done to the eye i let them operate on. they were very vague whenever i asked questions and even said so to my optometrist. stay away if you want to save your eyesight. read more

I am preparing for cataract surgery at another facility (Kansas City) and needed to obtain records from a Lasik surgery in Joplin eight years ago at a facility that is no longer open. The doctor was associated with Triad but had since retired and I was pretty sure tracking down the records would be a wild goose chase. I left my information with Tiffany and didn't really expect a call back. To my surprise, she proactively tracked the records down in Muskogee, coordinated the release form, and got the records mailed to me. Communication was fast, professional, and proactive. While I didn't get any service from Triad, the fact that they went to this effort for a non-customer was a welcome surprise. A+ for service. Thank you. read more

I found that I had cataracts and required surgery. The nursing staff called me a day before my surgery and said they did not have my prescription and it would have to be overnighted. I was to come in if they did not call to reschedule. They did not call, so I went to my appointment. When I arrived, they started trying to locate my prescription. My prescription was supposedly placed in my eyes so I would not need glasses. Apparently, they did not order my prescription on time and the nursing staff pulled a prescription that was close to mine. Now, I am nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other eye. Dr Conley performed the surgery and he did a fantastic job. I returned to talk to Dr Conley about the apparent mess up, but the staff would not permit me to talk to him. Apparently the follow up is not with the Dr that performed the surgery. Now I require "specialty" contact lenses as I am not able to see with glasses. Specialty lenses are quite hard to get to fit correctly and I have been wearing the same ones for over 2 years. I give Dr Conley a 5 star rating. The rest of the people there get a 1 star rating because there is not an option to give a ZERO star rating. If the staff would have permitted me to see the Dr that performed the procedure, I am confident that Dr Conley would have corrected the situation. This situation has made it extremely difficult to see correctly and I should have never allowed Triad to put a prescription in. If you need this surgery, get it done. Hack job! This place is awful. Dr. Abel operated on my amblyopia eye three times leaving me with horrible uncorrectable vision. I had really good eyesight before but didn't realize it because I was 19. I was only wearing glasses for the muscle correction because I have amblyopia. He talked me into Lasik and ruined my life forever. He promised that I would never have to wear glasses again which was a complete lie because I was only wearing glasses because I have weak muscles. Not only do I have a weak muscle still, I also have blurry horrible vision that is uncorrectable. I can't see street signs, I have dry eyes, I get horrible headaches from eye fatigue. I do believe my life would've turned out completely different if I would never of had the surgery. If only I had someone telling me not to do it! read more

Made an appointment a month a go needed on a monday. So I showed up to the appointment at 15 min to 2pm like they stated and they had me sit in the lobby for over an hour before ;calling me back. If an organization cant run its patience/appointment any better than this then they are not the organization that I want to be cutting on my eyes. FUrther more they did not tell me that i had to not wear my contacts 2 weeks prior to any examination( they could have told me that when i came in for the appointment and not made me wait over an hour just to get notified of this. I did get information from them in e-mail but it NEVER had this no contact information. How is a person supposed to knot this. Needless to say i will not be going back to them for anything. I also called my insurance and said that i did not see a doctor to get an examination and that they shoud not be allowed to charge my insurance because the problem was on their end not informing me of the contact requirement. What a complete waste of my time. I told the call taker one thing and when I got there found out almost an hour into the appointment, the call taker got it wrong. Geez. Then they wanted to dilate me. What I was there for didn't need that but even after I explained why I came they still wanted to do it. No. I can have my other records sent over but I didn't need another dilation this year. After having major eye surgery at Triad a couple of years ago, my wife recently showed up for a follow up appointment only to find out that they had moved across the street without informing her. Already late for the appointment, they refused to see her because she had inadvertently left her insurance card at home. So, she scheduled another appointment for January 17th. We found out today that the doctor had decided to terminate her as a patient and canceled her appointment for 2019 - because she had "missed" her appointment (which was not true). Worst clinic I have ever been in !!!!!!!! The women behind the desk in the surgery center is rude and has a chip on her shoulder the size of Gibralter. She is in need of some training in customer service. I have been a volunteer in several hospitals at their front desk and if I had received patients as she did I would been sent packing immediately. I went to Triad Eye Institute for a consultation and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to schedule an appointment. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Kumar was the provider who helped me. He has a very calm manner and cared enough to talk to me in detail about my concerns and questions. We discussed doing injections in my face. Dr. Kumar did the procedure himself. He walked me through the steps and I felt at ease throughout. I was very happy with the results and have told my girlfriends to request him as well. I'm impressed with the care that I received will be returning. read more

Buyer beware! I had corneal crosslink surgery done with Triad. The surgery went off OK. The documentation for at home care stated one thing but when I went to the doctor for my first follow up they told me that document was wrong and I needed to continue taking one of the medications. If the documentation is wrong why give it to patients? The rest of the after care was also less then adequate. Each one of my follow up appointments was rescheduled and pushed out multiple weeks. I didn't think anything was amiss until they were calling to reschedule an appointment (yet again) and let me know that because I was out of my 6 month window I would need to pay a copay. I was pretty angry that the reason I was out of my 6 month window was that they rescheduled the appointments multiple times I also realized then that none of the hundred pages of required documents provided mentioned this. I'm guessing this is how they are able to pad their bottom line id by pushing these out so that you have to pay more. read more

I don't typically leave reviews but the way this company treats its patients is appalling. NEVER waited less than an hour, once waited 2.5 hours for a scheduled appointment. Developed an eye infection after surgery but was told I would have to wait 3 days to see someone at the clinic because the office had "triple booked" appointments for the next 2 days. I'm all about making money and it seems this company has the monopoly on surgical eye procedures in the Tulsa area but it appears that once they get paid they couldn't care less about their patients eye health. read more

My husband had lasix with Triad in January 2017, now he cannot see out of his right eye. After paying over $4,000 for eye surgery this not very reassuring of their ability to repair vision as they state. The most troubling part is that in the paperwork it states that if we have any problems in the future with the eyes that the appointments for follow up will be included in the price of the surgery. When contacting for an appointment regarding his eye they are asking for his eye insurance and saying they are unsure if it is included in the cost. When calling to try and get more information about this you are only passed on to voicemails. Read all reviews before you make a choice about your eye care. read more

I have always had a good experience with Triad. The facility is clean and organized, the staff is friendly, and the physicians are astute and detail oriented. Dr. Kumar is knowledgeable in his field and takes time to explain treatments and review possible issues while addressing any questions. I did not feel like the consultation was rushed and I was happy with my results. Dr. Kumar also administered injections himself which I appreciate. I will be back to visit for my cosmetic and other eye issues. read more

This has got to be the worst run place I've ever seen. I was trying to get lasik but after an eval was told i couldn't. they recommended a procedure where they insert a lense that cost way more. scraped up the money and figured out i could do it so i paid the money for the pre-op. during the pre-op they forgot i was there and left me in the waiting room to wait for someone. after an hour of waiting i asked someone how much longer, and they told me that the person i was suppose to see had already left. did the surgical pre-op, was told i was good to go. then the day before my surgery in the morning they called to confirm. then that evening they called to tell me they had to cancel because the lenses they were going to put in hadn't arrived. so they had to reschedule. So all the planning i had made for childcare qnd help went out the window. earliest reschedule was a month away. so we scheduled it. now 1 week before my appointment they just called to let me know they can't and have to reschedule. This is after i called them yesterday to make sure we were still on track. Which they said we were. there are other places to go, go there. Look i know my review wont mean anything to them because its obvious that they have money and can pay for priority ad space, but ultimately they don't care about you, and considering the end goal is to have them work on your eyeball you might want to look for a company that actually has there stuff together. read more

DO NOT BOTHER with this health care provider. I was referred to Triad by my optometrist, who submitted, via facsimile, his referral. Never heard from them. I called asking about my appointment and was told they would call me back. Never heard from them. My optometrist finally called and asked them to call me. They finally did after two days of this. Went to my appointment--everybody very nice and seemed to know what they were doing. Scheduled surgery, was told an RX for eye drops would be called to my pharmacy that day and paid for the surgery by credit card. Went to the pharmacy over the weekend--no prescription called in. Called the pharmacy 4 days later--no prescription called in. Had message at home (rather than on my cell phone--which is the number I provided for calling) saying that my surgery had to be rescheduled. Called my scheduler and went over my list of complaints and that I felt they had really dropped the ball--more than once. Was turned over to Angela, the practice manager--left another message. She NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I called and left Liz a message stating that they needed to cancel all appointments and give me a credit on my credit card. Liz called and said everything had been cancelled and they would be mailing me a check within ten days. Oh no--I need a credit TODAY!! All of this leads me to believe the following: Triad is a VERY poorly managed provider. They are nice but provide abysmal customer service. For a manager to get a complaint and not call back says a lot to me. Then to want to issue a refund for a credit card payment via check tells me they have cash flow problems. One question: Are these the kind of people you really want operating on your eyes?? Unfortunately, this website does not provide the rating I would give Triad. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Wouldn't take ZERO stars! These people are thieves and don't give a hoot about their clients! On my initial visit I was told that I needed surgery in both eyes and that the "new" laser technique was many times better than the old way but it wasn't covered by insurance. Seeing as it was my eyes I fell for their lies! Thank goodness they don't really care about their patients, on my 2nd visit I waited in the waiting room for over an hour and a half and when they finally took me to the exam room and I was told the doctor would be right in, I decided to leave after waiting another half hour. As I left no one apologized or anything. On a subsequent visit to another doctor I was told that the vision in one eye was not bad enough to qualify for insurance coverage for the surgery! Triad basically tried to do a bait and switch on me! These people are THIEVES! read more

horrible, horrible experience. i waited 71 minutes to see the doctor; i finally got the exam, took the glasses prescription to my favorite place and the glasses didn't work! the doctor had written a totally erroneous, inept, and careless prescription. My eyeglass place graciously consented to call the doctor and get the prescription fixed. I wrote to Triad and received a supercilious and condescending response with no attention whatsoever given to the waste of my time and money or the extreme discomfort I experienced. this is the second bad experience there and will not return, suggest you don't either if you value your life. read more
