Rize All: Where quiet kids dance!…read more We came in with our nervous, quiet kid who surprised us when he decided to join a hip hop class. Ms. Mona and Julia welcomed him with positivity and kindness, helping him feel comfortable in minutes. As soon as class started, he was grooving! As performance day arrived I feared he would lose confidence but he jumped on stage with a HUGE smile and pride! Rize All isn't just about dance--it's about confidence and pure joy. P.S. If you're on the fence--do it. What have you got to lose?

Parking is typically pretty easy to find in the large shopping center they're in. We signed her up for their once a week introduction to dance class. She loved her classmates and instructor and wanted to do their recital in June. The class provided a lot of valuable life lessons. She learned and had several things reiterated: confidence, human kindness, paying attention, respect, responsibility, timeliness, and trying your hardest. Their waiting room is exceptionally small, and they prefer you drop off and pick up your child after class. Unfortunately, that's not realistic for her due to some separation anxiety issues, but we'll continue working on it. Starbucks and Walgreens are both within walking distance for those who are able to drop off their child or children. They sell a variety of ballet and dance apparel and shoes. The recital costumes were reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous. Tickets were also reasonably priced, and the show was well planned and executed. Our daughter's dance partner bailed on her before the second show, and her instructor Mona helped instill the confidence in her to perform a solo rendition that she did a fantastic job with. She's excited to begin class again in August after soccer is over and to perform again in December's recital.

I love that Tutu school uses lesson plans that all teachers follow so if my daughter attends a makeup class she doesn't miss a beat. My daughter is 5. She has loved Miss Jenni and Miss Shellie! We just had our first recital with Tutu School and it was beyond perfect. Imagine a program that worked out every kink from experience. Their recitals are a well oiled machine creating comfort and success for young dancers. It's so nice to see a business make the absolute best experience possible for families rather than just sticking with the status quo. The recitals are amazing because you only have to attend your child's scheduled time to avoid sitting through hours of performances that aren't your child's. We entered, sat through two other routines, my daughter performed, had a surprise solo moment, and then we were able to leave right after her dance. Included pictures followed and the photographer was amazing. It was extremely well planned with parents by their child's side along the way- which is so important for such young dancers! I've tried 2 other dance studios in EG and neither one really impressed me. The first I tried was when my daughter was 3 and I felt that program had way too many classes happening in one space creating overwhelm for my then 3 year old. The second location we started when she was 4 and it was fine but very old-school and outdated. We did one recital and it was an unorganized hot mess. Prices were comparable to Tutu school. Tutu school is the best experience we've had and has truly thought of everything!

As a mom with a toddler, I'm constantly on the lookout for activities that provide healthy stimulation. Signing up was super easy. When we arrived to the class, there was only 1 other student with my daughter so the class felt very intimate. It's about a 45 minute class filled with singing, reading, utilizing toys and physical objects and then more singing and dancing and of course ballet moves somewhere in between. This is great for babies to familiarize with people interaction but I really think these type of classes benefit more for older little that can actually follow directions and engage in the activity. I think everyone should try a class to see if this is right for your little one

After firsthand experience as a grandparent, I feel compelled to speak up because the concerns…read moreraised in recent reviews are not isolated. The facility is consistently unclean and poorly maintained. In today's climate--especially in spaces serving children--basic cleanliness and supplies should be non-negotiable. That standard is simply not met here. While the owners often emphasize that they "donate" their time, this is irrelevant to families paying for a service. Clients are not responsible for a business's internal sacrifices. If an academy positions itself as elite, it should reflect that through professional staffing, preparedness, structure, and a clean, safe environment. Classes feel inconsistent and under-prepared, communication is minimal, and expectations are unclear. Clients are left guessing instead of feeling informed and confident. The shared bathroom situation raises legitimate safety concerns, especially for young children when parents are unavailable. This issue is dismissed rather than addressed, which is troubling. Most parents and grandparents do not leave negative reviews lightly. The volume and consistency of critical feedback across multiple locations should give prospective families pause. Ultimately, there are many well-run, professional dance studios in the area that prioritize structure, safety, communication, and respect for families. This was not one of them. My grandchildren will not be returning.

What I don't like is how I was treated as the mother of a girl that was considered to be loose with boys. She had a crush on a boy that was also in the same production, and his mother/guardian didn't like my daughter, so consequently, my daughter gained a very bad reputation, and with the organizers of the performances. What my complaint is that I purchased 3 copies of videos of the show and never received any. I kept asking for them, and never received them. Was I being judged as a bad mother and then they decided I couldn't have the videos? I have no proof. When I purchased the videos right after the performance, in the back of the gym where the performance was, there was a table there with one of the organizers of the show attending it, selling future videos of the show. I wrote my name down on the list, which performance she was in, and it was recorded that I bought three videos. I asked for a receipt and the lady said that I didn't need one, my name and contact information was on the sheet, therefore, I didn't need a receipt. After weeks of asking for the videos, after it was announced that the video was available, I finally gave up. That is criminal behavior! I was hated for being the mother of a girl they considered to be loose, and therefore, they would not give me the videos I paid for, is my guess, what else? They knew that I didn't have proof of paying, so I couldn't prove anything. How horrible! Not only did I gain a bad reputation, I didn't get what I paid for. So these people judged me (didn't know me at all), and it was them who had criminal behavior. All I really want is a video of my daughter performing, even one!
