After a month I called and his wife answered and she said he was working on it fixing to send it, nothing. Then after another week went by my husband called him again and he said he was sending it, still nothing. I mean the least you could do is say you aren't interested in the work instead of just leaving a customer hanging. I do not recommend this painter.

I understand that after a certain amount of time, the circumstances might have changed, but refusing to go back out and verify that without another payment is absurd. Once I told them that I was ready to go, I had to wait another month before they finally told me that it would cost me another $100 to get them out there to verify the original bid, and they had no documentation of the bid other than some scribbled notes from the first visit. Go elsewhere. These folks aren't worth your time or money.
