I provided my OWN artwork in black and white. I was unsure about the colours so they took a £20 deposit and said they would 'mock it up'. Using my OWN exact image they coloured it in with felt tip pens (I know I could have done that myself but I just played along with it). When I went to see it this morning I wasn't sure so I made an appointment to have the tattoo done on Saturday and said I would take the picture home to think about the colours, and if I wanted to change the orange to black. I was told by 'Kirsty', who had a disgusting attitude, that I couldn't and wouldn't take it home I politely explained that it was my own artwork! She said, in a very aggressive manner, that it was their policy and there was nothing I could do about it. I said I'd take a photograph of it (after all I HAD made an appointment so it was highly unlikely that I would go anywhere else with their 'colouring in!), and I was again and even more aggressive told that I would not do that. By the time I got back to my office I decided that I did not want to have a tattoo, which would be with me for life, which would remind me of an aggressive, unpleasant and unhelpful person, so rang to cancel my appointment for Saturday and ask for a refund. 'Kirsty' was more than hostile this time, but I professionally kept my cool half way through her asking what's your problem, a man took the phone and told me to 'f*** off' and put the phone down. I was shaking with anger, called back immediately and said "no-one has ever told me to f*** off, and he said it AGAIN and put the phone down. I am, according to their business card, entitled to a refund, but even after speaking to the owner's son, it has still been refused. Now it is going through the small claims court. Honestly don't go near these idiots. I don't know why I even went there in the first place one of my friends had a tattoo done there three years ago it is still significantly raised, and another person had a hand tattoo which looks absolutely NOTHING like the picture she chose. Stay away from these cowboys please. read more
