My bf & I came in here because I liked their store the last time I came in. They have what is set up as a gift shop of random items. Their rock garden, mostly set up out back is one of my favorite parts. While eating at All Annie's, we noticed they had an ADULT banner on their building. Might as well check it out, right? I had never noticed that section last time I was there. They have it to the far side Left side of their store, locked up so they can make sure only 18 and older are allowed in there. As you walk in, they have adult toys and products set up in one room and adult movies set up in another. Outstanding unique shop. I love coming here after work and looking at everything. The employees are all really nice and the owner does it right here. Besides Garden of Enhancement in Downtown Sacramento, this is the best shop of it's kind by far. Awesome selection of products and lots of neat things you will not find anywhere else. The prices are good too. Will always be back :) The negative post are nonsense in my opinion. First of all, the owner is extremely nice. If you don't think so, maybe you're the problem. She is very good at providing great service. Also the post about the employees keeping an eye on shoppers is ridiculous. You can't trust anybody these days considering a 1/6 of the population are a bunch of meth head tweakers who always steal shit. A bit tricky to get to but once you're there...so many neat items in this metaphysical store! I found this place on Yelp and called them hoping they carried HEM brand incense, which they do. They actually carry the best selection of HEM cone incense I've ever seen. Something for everyone in this shop, from jewelry to candles. They have a couple of dressing rooms so you can try on clothes. One of the staff was kind enough to take me outside to show me their rocks and gems. Beautiful amethysts! I recently visited my mom, and she insisted that I check this place out. After reading some of the other reviews I wasn't super excited. But we went any way and now I can't wait to go back! Super cool place- all the things I love. We were in there for a good 2 hrs - staff was friendly, accommodated my mom who is in a wheelchair and let us browse with no weird vibes. I've always loved this little shop they sell amazing handmade items at decent prices, large selection of clothing,crystals, etc... I haven't been to this shop in probably like 6-7 months and decided to come look around for something to do and grab some incense and sage. I will never come back here again unfortunately they way the employees followed me and my friend around and would check on us every 2-3 minutes was extremely uncomfortable and their also very pushy. I don't come to a store to be followed around and harassed. As we were finishing up our shopping and browsing before checking out our very few items we were approached and told our items would be held behind the counter for when we're ready. That's ridiculous, they made me feel like a criminal for browsing around. After she did that and took our items I just walked out and made sure it was known as I walked out I won't be coming back as I don't come to tribal weaver to be followed harassed and accused of stealing. If you do decide to go here just a fair warning leaving your purse in the car won't help either, I left my purse in the car specifically so they didn't think I was stealing as a young woman. Never coming back, they will continue to lose business running the store this way, very sad it used to be an amazing place with great employees. read more

Now THIS is the Tribal Weaver I know and love! Great customer service. I wish I had more time to spend here because it is just as I remember the one next to the Del Oro being as a kid/teenager. Came in the other day with four of my friends, two of which also grew up with Tribal Weaver and they were also super happy with the stock at this one! Everything you expect to find; crystals, candles, fossils, hippie fairy items. All the good stuff. And it smells just as I remembered. Apparently the one in GV and this one are not owned by the same person and that accounts for the dramatic change between the two stores. Bottom line- if you're looking for the one you grew up with from the good ol' days - this is the one. read more

There is such a plethora of merchandise, local products, a wide variety of crystals, clothes, cards, jewelry, candles (locally made), and new-age materials -- even a detached adult area. And I'm not coming close to what's really there - just what I can remember from what I bought the last week I was there. Gabby, amazingly knowledgeable! This young lady knows her stuff. We went over everything from crystals to candles to CBD for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was incredibly well-versed on so many items. Tribal Weaver, I will always be a customer. This has always been my favorite hippy shop to go, they have so much cool stuff. My family and I have spent thousands of dollars over the years at their shop. But unfortunately we will never ever go again! The past two times we've been, we were followed around the stores like we were criminals. Last week the owner took my 1st basket and said she would keep it behind the counter. After getting over $400 in gifts and WE PAID for all of our Christmas gifts for family and friends, I went to get in my car. To my surprise, the owner had blocked our car in so we couldn't leave. They ran out and said sorry Let me move my car. When I got home I noticed they hadn't given me the 1st basket they had taken but charged me for it $200! I have called and left 4 message and even had a friend visit the shop saying I didn't get all of my gifts. The owner says she has no recollection of us and no nothing was left. As grateful as we all are to have a place like this the owner obviously isn't grateful to have loyal paying customers. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL read more

I've been going to tribal Weaver for several years. It was a special treat when I was a kid, I loved wandering around to look at the fairy statuettes and glow-in-the-dark posters and incense sticks. They've moved around a couple times, and are now a building down from the original building, and a lot smaller (or, it feels like it). Because of this, their merchandise has changed drastically. They have a large selection of clothing (which previously had been limited to racks outside) and jewelry. They also have the smokeshop addition. Clothing-wise, they're lacking. Their stuff is expensive and not unique. Some of the stuff looks like it came from Hot Topic, other stuff looks so faux-hippie, I'm a little insulted, even though i'm certainly not anywhere near hippie-esque. Their jewelry is nice though- fairly decently priced, and there were several different styles available, so it would suit any goth, hippie, celtic, or candy kid. Their smokeshop is pretty good for the size, even though Millennium, right across the highway, isn't much bigger, but still has a wider selection- but that's all Millennium sells, so of course. They have some very cool, unique pieces, decently priced. Their hookah tobacco is cheaper than some and higher than others; I really enjoyed the Starbuzz Blueberry Grape. Their hookah selection is severely lacking! I am very disappointed in that arena. They had a limited number to begin with, and had more 3-hose than 2-hose, which I didn't like. They had some cheap single hoses, which were fine, but they had ones in the shape of a soccer ball- really? What were they thinking with THAT purchase? While I consider Tribal Weaver to be a staple of Auburn culture, I miss the old one's atmosphere and selection immensely. They need to get in touch with their roots. read more

I love this store and am very upset at my latest visit recently. I came in to buy many of my holiday gifts for my friends and family and was falsely accused of stealing! The worker, who looked new to the store because I have not seen her there before falsely accused me of stealing a candle and gave me so much attitude and judgmental looks as I told her I do not steal, especially when im actually planning to support their business. I felt so uncomfortable after that, that I watched them stare at me while I was shopping, so I left empty handed and very upset. I wish i spoke to a manager but it caught me so off guard that i was just upset at that accusation and left. Everyone here is super super friendly. I stopped in here for a few last minute christmas gifts and found a lot more than what I came for. I love that they sell stuff for fire hooping and fire poi. They are very knowledgeable about their products and make you feel like family. I purchase body jewelry and the girl there cleaned it for me while having an awesome conversation with me. This store is not worth your hard earned money!! For years I have supported this store because it was a unique local store where you could buy neat trinkets that were hard to find. The over pricing of everything before was acceptable because of the difficulty of find the items. That was ten years ago. Since the internet arrived those unique items are no longer rare but tribal weavers prices have only gone up. Not only that, they don't have a return policy besides store credit. In this age if accessibility the prices and quality at tribal weaver are not only outrageous but fool hearty. Sorry to say it but without some serious changes, I can no longer support tribal weaver. read more

There was a time when this was my favorite store but times have certainly changed. I was told welcome to the store but I did not feel welcome. The vibe was completely bizarre in there. This used to be more of a metaphysical shop and now it is just a silly hippie clothing and jewelry shop with hookah crap. This is a store I loved. Been going for years. I went two weeks ago to get special Xmas gifts I was followed around like a thief. Then when we left they were so weird they had one of the owners with a trailer block us in. Which they moved after we paid 700 cash between my friend and I for special Xmas gifts ( I could get online way cheaper) but decided to support a local business that I loved. I got home and put with Xmas pile. Started wrapping today and realized I was definitely missing stuff. Had a friend go and ask if a bag had been left because it's a little drive for me and I called and during business hours they didn't answer or return call. I will never go back. Enchanted forest downtown has same stuff ( except sex toys ) for same price. Not only did they not appreciate our business I didn't get a bag that they claim wasn't left. Horrible people!! Save your money. Better off going online. They had to know a bag behind the counter was left. They actually came and took my full basket and gave me a empty one to keep shopping as they blocked us in and followed us through store. I want to leave minus stars with how we were treated. I was missing things I saw them ring up. One business I use to love. Don't care if you go out of business. Horrible!! Shame on them. Do not shop here read more

I love this shop! When they have clothing sales, I have a great time finding bohemian pieces to add to my wardrobe. My husband loves seeing the "fashion show" when I get home. They have an amazing selection of earrings, as well. Everyone I've met who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful. I first came here a few weeks ago with my mom and was amazed at all the hookah flavors and hookah's they have. I have came here 3 times since then because the staff, mainly I have only seen a younger girl working, but every time I have came in she has been so nice and so helpful.
