They have a large fenced yard where the dogs can run and they spend time playing with them. We seldom leave her anywhere and they texted us pictures and updates and it was obvious she was well cared for and enjoyed her stay. The other places we had tried she kept to herself and at the Bark barn she was playing with the other dogs and was comfortable in the group. Gabi is excellent with our teenager, very receptive to Lana's needs and she & Karsten take very good care of her by providing tons of play, multiple walks and regular water breaks as needed. I love that they are very good with communication, they ask how we have trained her & use those commands and we get regular updates all day regarding how she is doing. The space is beautiful, clean and green and well-maintained. Their sweet dog Coco is an added bonus and she & Lana got along almost immediately. Still, we had to travel a lot to visit a dying family member, so we took the risk. Jenny came over to meet us and the cats and helped calm us down right away. She did well with all of them while we were there, then sent us lots of pictures when we were gone. She brought toys and played with them. She even tired our our kitten, which I know the older cats appreciated. She always let us know when any of them were behaving strangely (our older cats were getting used to a kitten, so it did happen), so we could check in and make sure everything was ok. During a really hard time in our lives, it was such a relief knowing that she was there to take care of our fur babies.

Before training, Nash was an incredibly happy and energetic dog, but he struggled with basic manners, controlling his excitement and energy, had essentially no recall, and needed a lot of work on general obedience. He was also terrible about leash jumping and biting at the leash when he got excited, which made walks especially challenging. Liz completely exceeded my expectations. She worked with Nash on all of these things and then some, and the difference is truly incredible. Nash now has reliable recall, can walk off leash, listens even in high-distraction environments, and understands commands like "place," which has made such a huge difference in our everyday life at home. His leash manners have improved tremendously, and those frustrating jumping and leash-biting behaviors are no longer controlling our walks. I can now take him to so many more places and actually enjoy those experiences with him because I know he will listen and come when called. The best part is that Nash is still the same happy, goofy, energetic dog he has always been -- he just now has the control and obedience to match his personality. He is such a great dog, and I feel like I have a completely different level of freedom and connection with him. I am so incredibly grateful to Liz and everyone at Tranquil Pax for the time, patience, and work they put into Nash. These 10 days have made a bigger difference in our lives than I could have imagined, and I truly cannot recommend Tranquil Pax enough!
