My wife and I attended the Gun Safety Training last evening and it was worth every penny of what we paid. The Instructor Rick Whitlock (Manager of Trigger Time) was outstanding and took his time in answering all questions and the practice was very enjoyable. I downloaded yelp, just to write this review. Trigger time is by far the worst gun range I've ever been to. The staff was very condescending and rude to our whole group. Waited for 10 mins for assistance while two employees stood in the corner talking. When we finally were waited on to go shooting, we were yelled at from across the store to put on eye and ear protection, as we were putting them on. I've been in and out of this place numerous times shooting and bought a firearm as well as other items. 1st off the selection and prices are not the greatest, 2nd I was treated badly when I asked about a layaway, I got so angry at the time of the sale I almost cancelled it completely and afterwards regretted buying it from them due to the ordeal. The older guy Rick, Manger, Owner(?), has a serious case of grumpy old man with hemorrhoid issues and is not very nice and it's reflected through his employees and the overall atmosphere of the place. Every now and then I try the place again as the range is nice and it's really hit or miss on any given day one time being a pleasant visit and the next time I'm pissed and swear I'll never go again! It's been some time since I've visited as I was pissed the last time and I'm not sure if I'll give them another shot at this point. read more

Pretty decent range. I'm new to the area, so I haven't had a chance to check out others yet, but judging from the first time I went, it was well worth the visit. A little cold in the range section, not a big deal to me, but my girlfriend and her mother weren't to pumped about it. All-in-all it was a good experience and will def. be attending again. read more

I took a class last night for gun safety and shooting. I was never around guns, but I felt like I may need to protect myself with the way the world is turning. These guys are the poster children for bad customer service. I purchased a "Learn to shoot" class for my wife, for her birthday. You would think that's a perfect time to impress a new customer and keep them. Instead, I will never go back, and my wife will never step foot in the establishment. The class cost $85. Not bad, considering you not need supply anything. I was going to rent a lane while she was in her class. Well, my wife had to work late on the day of the class and wouldn't be able to make it. I called to re-schedule and was told that they could not do it. I was shocked. I asked if I could get a refund. Nope! I asked, " So, I'm out $85?" Response was, "Yep". Unbelievable! I have been here about 10 times and I'll keep coming back, here's why. The ranges are well ventilated, the equipment is always functioning (Target hangers and booth lights work), no restrictions on shooting bird shot out of your shotguns, staff are always available to check you in and out, I can't say that I've ever had to wait more than 30 seconds for anything. The fees are definitely reasonable for unlimited time especially compared to some of the other choices in Gwinnett. There is a small section of primers for reloading, it's nice to buy in store instead of paying HAZMAT fees. They have a decent $25.00 FFL transfer fee and electronic 4437 station, so if you order something from Budsgunshop.com you'll be in the range shooting it in no time flat. All-in-all it's the best combination of features of any range I've been to in the area. read more

First time there and was made welcome like I have been there several times before . The guys there were helpful and funny . One of the workers even came in to the range to take a look at my gun I was having trouble with and to ask everyone was having a good time. Stopped in to spend time with my son on their indoor range. The staff was friendly and the price was right. It cost us $23.00 for the two of us on the range and a target. It was a great opportunity to spend time showing my son how to shoot and get some practice time in myself. Go spend some time at the range with family and relax. i have no clue what happened with Keith B from Houschton but I have never, ever had anything like that happen to me here. I even sent a female friend there for lessons and she said it was great. The range is exceptionally clean and the staff friendly. The only knock I can give it is the range is somewhat small. Outstanding staff and a clean environment - can't ask for more. The absolute worst place for customer service. When u fill a back ground check through the ATF or FBI, that does state that you are physically purchasing the gun prior to a responce from either agencies. Definition of a purchase is as follows; "to acquire by the payment of money or it's equivalent". I had e delay on my background check and was told I could still pick the gun up by a further date if there was no response from either agency. I called to check about specific information on aftermarket parts and the grey haired guy informed I could just come pick it up because I had already purchased the rifle,(. At this point no money has been exchanged) .By definition I Have not purchased anything. On the phone I stated I was still wanting to buy that night as long as the after market parts were of reliable brands. The grey haired man then stated " ya know what ur not buying this gun" and hung up the phone on me, all because I wanted the names of the after market parts. Terrible customer service and I was a regular customer who purchased guns and ammo regularly. I'll never spend another penny in that piece of shits store again. Eat my balls old man read more

A few weeks ago we took our first trip to check out the range. The store and range looked professional. The people were very rude and disinterested in us. They would rather watch the motorcycle race on tv then be bothered. Even tho the first visit did not go so well we decided to give them another chance and go use the range. Today we went to the range and it was no better. Again there was sports on tv with all the employees huddled around. We got the attitude of "hurry up so i can go watch tv" when we checked in. The range it self is ok. By no means state of the art equipment. It is a warm day and it was so hot in the range my glasses fogged 3 times. When i went to the main store area (which was cold) to clean my glasses one of the guys (with no interest in his voice at all) asked if i was ok or needed anything. I told him its really hot in there. he said its ambient air temperature so if its hot outside it will be hot in there to. then he walked back to the tv. They were out of 22lr, no biggie. The ammo they sell is crap any way. We will not be returning. I would rather give my business to a range that at least pretends to appreciate its customers. Pros Cheap prices for range time. Trigger Time not only does not care for its customers, it does not care what goes on in the parking lot in front of their business. Have seen numerous individuals loading and unloading in the parking lot with children in the area from the karate center across the parking lot. I see that an individual posted that this place is the best in the area, well that would be because there is not anymore ranges in the area. Wish the original owners would take it back over, much more friendly to their customers. read more

I used to use this range several times a month. Love it! Clean, staff helpful, the only reason I quiet going is because a range opened closer to my house. I would definitely recommend to anyone in flowery branch area. I also bought several guns from them and they were helpful with adding accessories that I wAnted. Give them a try. read more

Been here a few times, the range is nice. However some of the staff is rude and not very friendly willing to spend time to discuss a purchase, almost like your bothering them. If you are new to weapons I would find another place that wants to spend the time with you on such an important purchase. I go there to use the range, I recently went back to use the range and then purchase a rifle and a hand gun, they close at 6 on Sundays. I was in there at 5 to use the range then start shopping, 5 minutes to six one of the staff starting talking me out the door, made me feel like I was holding him up once I started to look at the weapons and ask questions. Most business's in sales would finish up with the customers they have in the shop and lock the door to prevent others from coming in. He literally walked me to the door saying they are now closed! Wow I guess I will give my grand to someone else. Will not be back, good thing is other shops are opening in the area, hopefully they will gain what TT runs out the door and be successful. read more
