Pleasantly surprised by this clean well laid out store which offers masks, gloves, and hand…read moresanitizer complimentary to those shopping in the store. The produce is always fresh, the faces always friendly and the pricing is comparable to Save on Foods. Good to know there is a small family run business that we can support locally!Thank you Tomley's for continuing to have a great presence in our community even during this time of quarantine!!

My son and I stopped for loonies $25.00 worth which I paid for. Then I handed the Asian guy another $25.00 to purchase 3 plants. The Cyclamen were on sale for $3.48. There was a tag in flat with them all. I also grabbed a yellow Hosta lily plant. You will notice all 3 on counter. The bill was almost $25.00. He whispered something to his elderly mom and looked at a piece of paper. Then he came back and read prices off pots. I mentioned they were on sale for $3.48. I took him to plant stand and showed him the sign. He grabbed the tag and angrily threw it on another stand leaving my money on counter. I said he had to honor that price. And he said they aren't on sale and then don't take them. Tyen he grabbed the lily and said you know what I am not selling you anything and in fact you can get out of the store. I told him I wanted my money back. Then he wanted me to also return the loonies I already paid for. I said no I want my money. He refused and I said you can not just steal my money. I would call the police. He said go ahead. I went to car and told my son he stole my money. I called police and guy came out for a smoke and walked past us grinning. My son went into the store to reason with them and to get our money back. He was adamant he wanted the loonies back as he wanted me to have nothing from them. He was holding my money in his hand that he grabbed when I tried to take my money back. It now lay on counter as I waited for police. I took pictures of them and plants on counter and tag that he threw on side stand. He came out filming me and was filming my calm son. I told him if he was going to rip me off I was reporting him to Consumer Affairs and posting online how he was scamming people with sale tags he had no intention of honouring and was stealing from the public. Before police came my son as they were filming each other calmly convinced him to return money as I waited outside informing people he was a theif. I cancelled police and was at corner stop sign leaving when a younger Asian lady came up to my car. I waited as I thought she was going to apologize about the problem. Instead she looked at me in my face and said Fkkk off. So I took her picture. How unprofessional and people beware they rip you off. They just expected me to say nothing. I went back next night and filmed sale tag in another group of plants. That won't be honored either
