Split sandwich with my husband. Pulled pork (left), Reuben on the right. Both amazing!

I can always count on Yelp to help me find a local lunch spot for great food. I wasn't really in the mood for a sandwich but after seeing the reviews and having 2 locals recommend this spot, my husband and I decided to give it a try. Wow, this place takes sandwiches to a whole new level of goodness. The menu isn't very large but I think they have perfected what they offer! I had the Reuben - smoked beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian dressing on a soft pretzel bun. I lm never sure about sauerkraut, but this was an incredible sandwich. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It is juicy with a smoky flavor. We couldn't decide which sandwich we liked better. There's indoor (shared tables) and outdoor tables. A man sitting behind me lives around the corner and said this is his favorite place in town!

Very nice Sandwich centric business that equates to a high end Deli in my home state of Michigan. It all starts with their fresh made bread which is oh so important, generous use of quality meats and fresh ingredients in creating what I view as a top shelf two hander sandwich that is tough to get your mouth around. This is sandwich nirvana in my opinion. The sandwiches range from classic names you recognize like Club and Rueben to unique eclectic names like Butt Kicker, The Trendy Hippie, The Veg Head and on and on it goes. The combination of the complementary ingredients, some which you don't see in an most sandwich shops, is really what separates this business from your everyday sandwich shop where the names add a bit of fun/expectation to the business/menu. Really a great business for a sandwich centric business that you unfortunately dont see enough of. Relative to the business and staff, the place is hopping around lunch time where there was a line the whole time we were there. Staff is super friendly and restaurant offers both inside and outside dining where the outside dining has a great view of the harbor adding to the overall dining experience. Overall I was very pleased with this dining experience and would love to put this business in my suitcase and take it home with me as I would definitely be a regular. Five stars in my book.

Excellent sandwiches! Fresh ingredients and skillfully prepared; the taste shines thru! Great value. This shop is a scaled down version of the adjacent sit-down restaurant, offering a limited menu (the best sandwiches).

A great little place for good coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The service was quick and accurate and the outside eating area was great for views of the inner harbor and people watching. Give it a try!

Really good coffee & very friendly staff. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, but more lettuce than egg. The patio is lovely.

There was no way that I could review it solely on the pastry received during our BC Bites & Sights tour. We met Dorothy who gave us a warm welcome. She provides a creative space, as well as an opportunity to those who need that inspiration. It's a unique work program! So, please have a heart when you experience slower than usual service. It may be a newcomer in training. We have all been there at some point in our lives. I love the creativity here! It's not just about coffee. They serve fresh out of the oven pizzas. We didn't get to see the bread and bannock. I really would have loved to try bannock which is sort of the Scottish precursor to the Native American fry bread (but, not really). You'll just have to read about it. What we did try was a pastry with custard, strawberries, and rhubarb. It was very good. I especially loved the rhubarb. I was also in love with the plants in the garden. It overlooks a park, and it's very close to Fisherman's Wharf. A great location! It's true that we only got a small taste of Victoria, but it did leave a lasting impression. There's so much more to this capital city that needs to be explored in more detail. Hopefully, we'll get that chance one day in the future.

Also got coffee which was a bit disappointing. I got an oat milk latte ($1.25 extra) and it was pretty bitter I could not drink it. Maybe it was an off day for them.
