Once I hit town, I took the dirt road path leading up to a clearing with a large gate flung wide open through which you enter by foot and paw. Tony's lot extended far beyond what you could see from the parking corral, rest assured he can see you. Walk in, announce your presence and tell him what you need. Listings populated fast and heavy showing four similar cars, enough that I could cherry pick the best of them. Tony invited me to walk the yard with him, don't go it alone, it's company policy. Once I requested what I needed, Tonys guy climbs into a huge Caterpillar (CAT) earth mover and car scooper upper and carried it to the work area for the parts to be removed, other than the upper radiator hose which was already set aside for me. This vehicle scooped up the Sable like scooping ice cream, such power, this mechanical behemoth could bench press the Van Wyke. Tony liked my dogs, my dogs liked him and we chatted a bunch as he skillfully removed a few more parts I was hot for and presented a price that no online retailer, no dealer and no NYC auto salvage could come close to. What a happy day!
