She's very easy to work with, and knowledgeable about homes and the quirks they may come with. She was on site during our home inspection to make sure she knew everything that was going on before we proceeded with the purchase. I highly recommend NestEgg for any First time buyer.

After going back and forth, they said they could meet at 11 am on Saturday. Now, Saturday came, my husband was in the online meeting room, but nobody showed up. He waited for 30 minutes there and ended the online meeting. Now, after he left home, Evelyn called him and said she had forgotten the meeting, with no legitimate reason. And after wasting part of his weekend, she told him that they only offer the full management service and do not help just with finding a tenant. The purview of their service is fine; that is their choice, but this could certainly be communicated via email instead of going through this unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was surprised to find many great reviews about this company, which was good for them, but I guess our need wasn't lucrative enough for them to care if you can drop a meeting they scheduled without giving a legitimate reason.

If you're reading this review, you must be where I was a couple of months ago-trying to get a sense of which agent will be your greatest advocate in your real estate transaction. I met with several real estate agents in my search and decided to go with Nate. I'm so glad that I did. The first thing I noticed was Nate's honest appraisal of my situation. He didn't try to up-sell me or promise me the world; his advice was earnest and reflected his years of experience in the Ann Arbor market. I was living 2,000 miles away in California while the house was on the market. But with Nate as my agent, I was always in the loop. Texts, emails, home checkups, phone calls-- he was always available for my questions and to give his recommendations. Nate's a "Full Service" Real Estate Agent-- and he exceeds his reputation. It should have been difficult to sell your house from the other side of the country. Nate made it a breeze. His price recommendation was right on the money. As a negotiator, he was able to work with the buyers to get any issue resolved quickly. With his help, I was even able to complete the transaction remotely. But as an agent, he went well above any expectations I had. Allow me to share a story with you. At the house I've had stuff stashed in storage in the basement for years. Photos, books, personal knick knacks. When the house closed, Nate and his wife drove to the house to sort, pack, and then deliver my things to my parents' home over an hour away. WHO DOES THAT?? I was blown away by the level of service. Let me say that Nate Foerg is an absolute professional. Like you, I found him on Yelp. But his rating and reviews on here are well deserved. The guy truly goes above and beyond. And if I ever decide to return to Ann Arbor, he'll be the first person I call. I hope you do too.

He is not at all stressful. He was very flexible with us, i.e. was willing to list our house for more than he thought it would get and was willing to put in an offer on a new house for much less than the asking price. After we closed on both houses, he went out of his way to take care of a small issue we had with our new house. Just to be clear--he had already received his commission, but he still went way out of his way to help us out. At some cost to himself. We would definitely work with him again. He's a really good, decent human being.

Jon Gordon helped my partner connect with the perfect commercial/studio space earlier in the year. So when the time came to jump into the market for a home, we immediately thought of him. Jon mostly handles commercial properties, and is also an associate broker, so we weren't sure if he would take up our cause or pass us along to another agent. We were happy when we heard that he would indeed be our buyer's agent. We knew from the start that we had a good "gut feeling" about Jon -- he seemed to have enough experience in the business to know all the ins, outs, and everyone around town, but he also seemed honest, up-front and on the level, something I haven't always sensed in my interactions with other agents. Throughout the process, we were glad to have Jon representing us and going to bat for us. He was a great listener and plenty personable, but could get tough when the situation called for that approach. And, of course, the situation did at times. We honestly could not have been happier or had a better guide through the process of first-time home ownership. After this positive experience as well as the positive experience with my partner's commercial space, I'd recommend Jon or any agent on his team that he personally recommended in a heartbeat.

This last time we had the highest bid and no contingencies on our offer. She personally told our realtor 'we had the house'. All documents were in order. That day our realtor tried to contact her about delays, with calls, emails, texts. Radio silence for a day and a half! Finally our realtor was told that someone 'matched our offer,' and they got the house. This was a one of a kind home that my husband and I would have lived our life out in... I emailed her and asked for a personal apology and never got one. I can't prove anything, unfortunately. But I think she used our bid as bait to get another party to revise their bid for some type of profit. This was very upsetting and I'm still furious.

I'm used to dealing with multiple offer situations, and with large agencies. After telling our agent that we would be the sole offer going forward if we increased our offer by a small amount and changed a contingency on meeting the gap in appraised versus selling price, Nancy Bishop refused to work with our agent on finalizing the paperwork. Our agent then informed us that another offer had been accepted, and he was exasperated by her tactics. As you can see from another yelp review, she did exactly the same thing to another buyer in the previous year. After we complained to the general manager of Reinhart, that person defended the practice and the agent. You should NEVER place an offer on a house where Nancy Bishop is representing a seller. This is the most unethical agent I've encountered, ever.

Unfortunately instead of accepting their mistake and…read moreapology they justify their mistakes and this is the theme with the general manager, my agent and this response here. Again my agent gave me WRONG information. I am attaching a picture of his text and you can see that clearly he did not know about our non- homestead tax until July. The picture is for after I confronted him that the initial information he gave me was incorrect. Also we wrote our own objection letter with ZERO advice or help from our agent. He just shared our letter with the seller and did not negotiate those items, We Did. He even had no idea we are getting a new furnace. I told him that if he asked about that in advance we would pay the difference to install a high efficiency furnace rather than an 80% and he admitted he had no idea. Our agent tried to accommodate our constraints when it came to giving us tours. After we withdrew from our first offer (since the house turned out to be modular in the inspection), many texts and calls went unanswered or were answered really late. we value knowledge and considering Buyer's benefit in a buyer's agent (rather than early closing) unfortunately our relator John did not fully meet our expectation in that regard. If you are okay with receiving the wrong information you can choose them. Below I describe our experience with our agent : For the property that we purchased, I noticed the high taxes and asked him about the reason before making an offer. He mentioned it is because the property is non-homestead and we can change this status right after closing to prevent higher taxes. Given his incomplete and in my mind false information, I thought we can homestead the property and avoid high taxes right after closing. When I reviewed the taxes around the closing time I noticed that we are paying the high taxes and told him about miss informing me. He mentioned that it is only a three-month extra tax until Dec +/-$700 and was not worth negotiating. Again he was wrong because I called the township and noticed that the summer tax is still non-homestead and I cannot change that until July of next year. Long story short, either he genuinely did not know about this tax issue or he misinformed us. Both of which are unacceptable for an experienced realtor.

From the first day when we met, when he picked me up on campus during my welcome weekend visit and drove me to a wide variety of his properties, I was impressed by his care and his desire to make sure I found a place to live where I was really happy. The apartment I rented was exceptionally well-maintained, and I lived there the entire 3 1/2 years I was in Ann Arbor. Every time I called Bob, he answered the phone. And anytime I needed a repair or regular maintenance, his warm and friendly staff (the wonderful Al and Tony), arrived within the hour. Whenever I called Bob, he asked how I was doing, and it took me a while to realize he was really asking and really wanted to know. And once, when I was horribly sick with the flu and I had to be on campus until 10 p.m. and I had a flight at 6 a.m. the next morning and my car was snowed in, I called Bob to tell him of my predicament and ask if he knew anyone I could call for help, and he sent over his crew to shovel me out, just out of kindness. I felt cared for and taken care of by the folks at Arbor Properties. I'll miss them, and I give them my highest recommendation.
