Cannot believe I've never reviewed Trillium before; perhaps because I followed Stephanie here from 2+ prior salons, so have never really considered reviewing the salon itself, despite being a patron for what... 15 years? The salon is modern and clean and good vibes, but this review is really about Stephanie, who is a hair whisperer. When I was a goth girl in my 20s, she gave me the PERFECT reverse goth bob (IYKYK), after multiple stylists before her failed. When I decided to grow my hair out into something more modern and professional, she nailed that too. And when I had an emotional crisis, missing the goth years but not wanting to commit to the lifestyle, she suggested a perfect compromise, which was my hairstyle for years. This doesn't count the fact that when I hired her to do my wedding hair, sending her pics of my ideas, when I showed up for my trial she had an entirely different idea and asked me to go with it for the trial, and it was PERFECT. over 20 years later, people still remark on my wedding hair. And because I and my bridesmaids were still goth-adjacent at the time, she did their hair too - gorgeous 40s-inspired styles, all different, but all that suited them perfectly. And so on and so on. Stephanie and I have been together so long that today, I went back to her for the first time in a couple of years (for various reasons I've just been letting my hair grow wild), and essentially told her to use her judgment and do whatever, and I walked out of the salon looking and feeling cuter than I have in over six years. I'm now realizing why I've never reviewed her - she's so in demand that I don't need the competition for appointments. But fair is fair - if you're looking for a stylist who will just GET YOU, by all means, try to book some time with Stephanie H. read more

Stefanie is great. She understood what I wanted. I told her that I had cut my own bangs a month ago and I am just letting them grow out. So we left them alone, and they will eventually grow out and even out. Other salons I have been too just cut my hair and thin it out at the ends. Making my hair Long layers and very thin at the ends. so i end up with my hair falling/pulling out at the ends. She knew what I was looking for! She gave me long layers with volume at the end. Before she even styled it I could tell when my hair was wet that I was going to like it. She knows what she is doing. From the back my hair now looks full and healthy and put together. I will be returning back for Stefanie. She also has a really good personality. read more

I started coming here because my mother in law has been getting her hair done by Stephanie for years. Steph has made me look forward to getting my hair done. She makes you feel welcomed and takes the time to form a relationship with her clients. Salon has good vibe with nice music & very trendy . It's nice to let my color dry and enjoy a nice tea or coffee from there goodie area. They offer massage & a nail bar as well. From fashion colors to blondes and brunettes, these ladies can do it all. Master Stylist Ahriel, who has been with Trillium for the past eight years, is a Balayage expert. Trillium Salon Concepts also carries Goldwell and KMS products that I cannot find anywhere else. The salon is modern, with a great energy and is always kept to the highest standards. During certain days of the week, they also offer clients baked goodies from Two Moons Bakery. From time to time, you'll also be able to catch a pop up clothing shop from local and independent retailers from the community. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! I came to this salon maybe about 2months ago and I got my hair done by Dana Medina (Dana K) I was there for about 4/5 hours I showed her some inspirational pictures and asked if she can do it and she said yes little did I know what I was getting myself into. She completely ruined my hair! I had virgin hair I never bleached or dyed it! I wanted a balayage ombré and she gave me literally 4 highlights! I let her know I was not happy and gave her a chance to fix my hair and it was worse this time she made it completely brown and that was clearly not what I wanted! So a few days later I reached out to her and asked if I could please get my money back because I was still not happy I think she must have gotten offended because the next day I woke up to an Instagram post basically about me where she explains how I would never be able to have my hair that color. I just want to warn everyone who decides to visit this salon no one deserves to have there hair ruined up and then be talked about on social media especially by a professional! It was hurtful and humiliating to me on the post she basically said that it was my fault because I use "cheap" shampoo and that I had unrealistic expectations! I am not a creative person at all & I give her complete control of my hair & I am never disappointed ever! She is the best!! I saw one girl post a negative review of Dana... I was totally shocked since I have never had a bad experience & everyone I know who goes to her loves her work... So not sure what happened there. Also, all of the stylists are super sweet & friendly! I even bring my little girl in for her hair cut & the girls are so good with her. Wow what a cool salon this is! The services are always great. I have been to a few of the girls, as well as all the women in my family. And we have always loved how our hair turns out! I highly recommend trying these girls out. They use Goldwell color and Kms products. They also have the new Olaplex products for anyone who bleaches or highlights their hair! I would like to say thank you to my wonderful stylist Ahriel M for introducing me to the Olaplex products! Once I received my first Olaplex treatment I noticed such a difference in my hair. I was able to tell the difference Olaplex makes. My hair just didn't feel like my hair and I mean that in the best way!! Id let you touch it before and after if I could! Lol but let me tell you it felt softer, less frizz, smoother, above and beyond anything. With constant bleaching and going lighter this product is perfect just for that!!! I highly recommend it. Stopping by to write a quick review about Trillium and specifically my awesome hair stylist, Dana :) Dana has been styling/cutting/dying my hair for 13 years now. Finding a great stylist who is always willing to work with what you want as well as always giving you advice on how to keep your hair healthy and feeling great is her thing! I trust her 100% every time I sit in that chair. I have no worries, I just sit there and relax excited to see and feel and see the end result :) I can't think of any one time where I walked out unhappy and for that reason, I make my 1.5 hour journey to see her every few months (eeeek) BUT so worth it!
