I first came to Crystal a few months ago because a previous hair dresser from a chain salon messed me up bad with layers that didn't look like layers. But after looking and looking for the right salon and hairdresser; I found Crystal on instagram and in whittier. Crystal made me feel comfortable and understood what I wanted. Especially since I'm getting married this year I really wanted to prep my hair for when the date gets closer. I've been to crystal twice now and she's amazing and I plan to go to her again in November a week before my wedding day. I had two consults with two different stylists here, first consult I had to wait a wk just to get a quote and stylist did not give me a price told me to text her. I text her and got a reply, I requested for certain dates and she tried to pawn me off to someone else, after that she stopped replying altogether. I felt very disappointed because I thought I finally found a stylist who can do my hair the way I wanted it. I go for a second consult with another stylist, whom was not very patient, for their $250 balayage special and says she can't do balayage on me, quoted me a different price. I decided to walk out, as I was walking out another stylist was looking over smiling as if she wanted to know what was going on and waited for me to leave. It feels as if these stylists in this salon like to talk about you behind your back, like a clique. It did not feel very welcoming, no one greeted me nor did the stylist let me know she was running behind. Her station wasn't very clean and brushes had long hair in them, the ones that are supposed to be clean. Definitely won't be coming back here, salon does not have good customer service and false advertising. read more

She took My hair from covid raggedy to blonde then to a vivid purple and now where I'm at right now with an auburn tone and caramel highlights. I trust Gia with my hair, completely, at this point. She will discuss with me what I want and then what is realistically possible. She will spend the time to discuss with her clients what will look good with their skin tone and their face shape. She also ensures that you are satisfied with her application of the inspiration that you bring to her. Gia is skilled in color, highlights, lowlights, and cut as well as styling and updos. She is able to deliver on all levels of professional and quality while making sure that you still have a good experience and are relaxed about the color. The Salon has been through a huge improvement since new management has taken over. The vibe has improved greatly with more stylists available, as well as an updated look. It feels chill, calm, and professional when you walk in. They will also offer you beverages and make sure that you are comfortable. They have started to offer nails, lashes, teeth whitening and teeth gems, as well. I highly recommend Salon Artistry Lounge. If you can get in to see Gia, she's the best. All the ladies work together as a team and are wonderful. They help each other and are positive towards each other, as well. read more
