Stopped in for coffee and a quick breakfast. Ordered two cold brews - Honey Lavender (ok) and Vanilla (good). They had homemade pop tarts from Old Hearth Bread Co in Casselberry, FL, and I decided to go all in on every flavor - Loved them!! We had the Guava (my personal favorite), Apple Cinnamon and Cinnamon Bun. The pastry is much softer than pop tarts with a fresher filling. This place is a gem! The service is more of a walk up service to place and order and they will shout your name when your coffee is ready. As for when your food is ready they walk around deliver it to where you are sitting. The coffee was very good and flavorful. The avocado toast was simply just delicious the balsamic vinegar with the grape tomatoes and crushed peppers just really works especially on the sour dough bread. My breakfast here ran around 14 bucks and that was for a coffee and avocado toast, they do have other breakfast items as well but I highly suggest the avocado toast. I love that they are a small business and seems like the locals know of it. They also grab sources from other small businesses for example their pastries come from another small business in Casselberry which I absolutely love again! I got the apple tart and the cinnamon roll which was okay but that apple tart was more than okay it was delicious. The price of the pastry range about 2-3 bucks not bad for a small business. Back on here to add that I've started purchasing their beans since getting an espresso machine of my own. I have tried a few other varieties so far and nothing compares to the flavor and quality. First let me say that from a prior experience I was a bit skeptical on how this visit would go. That said I was pleasantly surprised! The barista greeted us in a very upbeat and happy way, made some menu suggestions, and guided some of our decisions. Jim ordered the huevos rancheros and I ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy and two hot lattes. The food arrived shortly after the lattes - and talking about the lattes they were delish! And very creative with the art on top! The sage sausage biscuits and gravy was to die for - seriously - I'm a snob when it comes to this dish, and it was superb! My review is 4-4.5 however based on everyone else's reactions; I have to give it a 5. As a group of 5, my friends & I stopped by for a quick coffee break Saturday morning & ordered to go. Trilogy was highly recommended by one of my friends who orders their coffee beans from here. So when we learned that for Small Business Saturday they were having a deal that if you buy 3 bags of coffee beans you'll get 25% off, she was ecstatic. We all wanted to try their new fall coffees; I ordered the Salted Fig and a croissant & my other friends ordered a Chai Tea Latte, Sweater Vest & a muffin. Everything turned out really really good. The salted fig was sweet but you can taste the balanced flavors of the salt & spices. All coffees come in 1 size and they let you choose 3 styles: Cappuccino, latte, or straight. Hot or Iced. There were a lot of people there this morning but I received my coffee almost instantly. There was a good amount of seating inside and outside. You can work with your laptop there and they have a back patio where you can bring your dogs. The service was friendly, the person taking orders answered my questions & helped us all choose the coffees we were craving. The price was the same as starbucks, it is specialty coffee so you get to try a variety of fancy drinks & flavors you wouldn't typically get at a fast food place. Im not much of a brewery girl so I was estatic to see Trilogy coffee was right next door to Hyderhead Brewery where my husband and his family stopped in. Upon walking in the coffee shop it was pretty quiet, the building itself was cute and cozy. A nice place to study alone or hang with a friend. I got an iced cappacino off their spring menu. The stephanie (banana milk, marshmellow fluff, espresso). It was delicious! I was alittle disappointed in service and maybe it was because I walked in 15 minutes before they closed which I did not realize and apologize but the barista wasnt very welcoming. The coffee is pretty good, the service was better than average and the Ambiance is cozy. The only real problem I had was with the owner. After reading other reviews it seems that the employees are pretty nice, it's the own who throws people out of the establishment making false accusations about the customer and making threats bout calling the police for doing something I guess he doesn't like. It's no big deal there is like 5 or 6 other coffee shops around DeLand, I will just be sure to spend my money at one of them. It's like you are expected to order a coffee sit there drink u coffee and don't speak to anyone. Cute little coffee shop in downtown Deland. I've been here a couple times when I'm the area. The inside is warm and inviting, although a little small. I got my coffee to go whenever I've been here but I did notice there's not a lot of seating inside. The coffee was delicious. I ordered a latte on my most recent visit. Very tasty. Love stumbling upon great coffee shops! Glad I found this cute and quaint spot in Deland. Since I'm not very familiar with this area I usually rely on reviews or input from other people to find good spots. This is a great location for remote workers and students to get work done. The ambience and cozy feel is just right. Their wifi is good and usually never have an issue logging in or service slowing down if theres a lot of people. Their coffee, lattes, AND tea have all been phenomenal. Every visit I've tried something different and they have all been superb. My first visit I ordered my usual chai tea latte which was perfect! Next visit I ordered their espresso (only one shot) since thats plenty for me and on my last visit I tried one of their refreshinh teas. My personal favorite is still the ice chai tea latte, they offer other milk substitutions so feel free to tweak your drink to whatever you prefer. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly. I did order an iced cappuccino but what I got was a 16oz steamed latte poured over ice. Steamed milk should never be poured over ice or it will curdle. I asked the barista to remake my drink and told them how I wanted it and that drink turned out great. I've worked in coffee for 10+ years and this was the first time I've experienced a shop where the staff was trained to pour steamed milk over ice. I will be going back but now I'm aware of exactly how to order my drinks going forward. read more
