DeLand Cat Café is the purrfect place for cat lovers who wants to spend time with the kitties, but also enjoy a hot or cold beverage from a shop on their property. There are some kittens at this place as well. All of which are super adorable! Of course all the other kitties are super adorable too! The woman who works at DeLand Cat Café - whose name I unfortunately can't seem to remember is a gem. She is approachable, super kind, and professional! In the Cat Café, you'll find a photo album with Polaroid pictures of all the kittens/cats that have been adopted and those are seeking their furever homes. There are some really cool items you can buy too. T-shirts, hoodies, cat ears, keychains, stickers, and so on. Proceeds from purchase go directly to the Cat Café itself. I enjoy support businesses, including small ones. Knowing that the money I spent on souvenirs supports this business makes me so happy! DeLand Cat Café, you most certainly do NOT disappoint! When she announced them on Facebook, she had the boy and girl mixed up and said they're bonded. It worried me that she didn't bother to check incisions while they had been in her care 2 days (spay sights should be monitored atleast 7 days). It worried me that she didn't pay enough attention to these kittens to see a shaved rear and thighs on the boy bc unlike the stomach that area is in plain sight. The bonded pair thing had me wanting to talk to the cafe to assure they are not bonded. In the month in my care the male stole all attention and food unless held or seperated. The female enjoyed sleeping alone. They would play as kittens do, but bonded means inseparable. The female will blossom without the male. I have recordings from their time with me to show reasons behind my belief. I called a few times during business hours. The phone never got answered. I sent one message through her website, and followed up a few days later from my email to be sure it was sent. No response. I wanted reassurance these kittens are in good hands. Today, I couldn't see the business facebook page. I got blocked without any response, communication, zilch. I finally got an answer when I called. Instead of answering my questions and reassuring me she cares, she told me she had no reason to respond to me and hung up on me. I have never met her and did not get a chance for a decent conversation. If this is how she treats concerned fosters, I can't imagine how she is with the animals who cannot speak.
