Missy was super nice and thorough and took the time to discuss my hair with me, make suggestions and listen to my concerns. She and Gia were so kind and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, and I was really happy with my immediate results. Now that I have been here for the third time and I feel like what my old salon did to my hair color is behind me, I can truly say that my hair has never looked better. Missy is a master with color and cuts and Gia is so amazing and gentle with blowouts and styling that not only did I love my hair, but I also felt like I had just had a massage. I felt so much happier and better about myself when I left the salon, and I received more compliments on my hair yesterday than I did in all the years of going to my old salon. As a bonus, the shop itself is lovely, immaculately clean and fun. Missy has given me helpful tips as to how to care for and style my hair at home, has recommended products and has been honest with me about cut, color and styling suggestions to suit my hair and face. Upon arriving you can either park in front off Merrick Rd, or there is a parking lot and additional entrance in the back. I was scheduled with Victoria for a blowout - she was very friendly and easy to talk too, and most importantly, she listened to what I wanted! I initially wanted to try a blowout with curls, but let her know I usually opt for straight hair, so I may or may not like the curls despite my request to try something different. After curling my hair, which originally looked great, unfortunately the style itself was just not for me. I have had 2 cuts and a trim and my hair has never looked so good. She not only does my hair now but also my mother in law who is extremely picky AND my daughter who does not like anyone near her butt length hair! The appointment was for my 3 year old and I'm due to give birth with my 2nd in less than a week but I say no problem. The receptionist says great we'll see you in half an hour. I then come back in half an hour and I ask if the hair stylist is ready. The receptionist says no that she needs 5 more minutes but I can leave if I don't want to wait. This was pretty frustrating and I asked why they wouldn't just call me if she's running that behind and ask me to come later? The receptionist only mentioned that the stylist is just that busy. I wait another couple of minutes and ask again if the stylist is ready. At this point im tired of waiting and ask to get an actual estimated time she will be ready. I see the receptionist go up to the stylist and I see that the stylist is annoyed with the questions. I feel that when you have such a "popular" stylist that people should be better at scheduling their appointments for them. A phone call to say she's running an hour behind would have been great to receive, and the stylist could have taken 2 minutes to check in with me and see what can be done to accommodate me since I wasn't late. The stylist ran behind and should have tried to remedy the problem. At the end I left, it was obvious they didn't care for my business since the stylist is that popular. Overall I was very disappointed and won't return.

Making the appointment was easy - I texted with Sara to schedule but you can also schedule online. When I showed up for my appointment I was told Sara's car had broken down therefore she was running very late. Instead of turning me away and telling me to reschedule completely, Odete swept into action and did my roots. We had a tough time finding a color match (since my previous color was done at a different salon) but she went above and beyond to perfectly match and she did! Sara ended up making it into work right before my rinse therefore we decided to reschedule the bayalage. I came back the following week and everyone remembered me by name (even Oksana the nail lady)! Sara meticulously did my bayalage and made sure I was comfortable as I sat for 3 hours to get the perfect highlights put into my hair. Everything turned out perfectly and the blowout was great, as well. I cannot wait to come back here for touch-ups and color going forward.

A week before my wedding I had a complication with my makeup artist, so I decided the easiest and best thing would be to just have Sara do my makeup since she was going to be there anyway. I saw some pictures of her work, but I wasn't able to fit in a trial with her beforehand. She came on my wedding day and absolutely NAILED my hair and makeup. I showed her a few photos of sample makeup, and she created a unique look for me that I've never seen on anyone and and completed complimented my whole look and personality. I loved my makeup so much I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! She used airbrush makeup on me(she even airbrushed my arms and bank) and it was all just so flawless! So I decided to come to her old job, which is this one. I paid $402 for my hair appointment and unfortunately did not receive the hairstyle I had specifically requested. I came the second time, I still didn't get what I had requested. I was very disappointed with the final result, especially considering the amount I paid. After expressing my concerns, I was told that the owner would reach out to me to address the situation. It has now been over a month, and I still have not received a call, message, or any follow-up whatsoever. I understand that things can happen and that not every service goes perfectly, but what really disappointed me was the lack of communication and customer service afterward. If a customer spends $402 on a service and is unhappy with the result, I believe their concerns should be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner. I gave the salon the opportunity to follow up before leaving this review, but after more than a month of waiting, I feel that my experience deserves to be shared. I would not recommend spending this amount of money somewhere where there is no follow-up or accountability when a customer is dissatisfied.

(Sunday Morning not many places are open. ) I park my car and begin to walk across the street to the salon at 8:57 AM. My phone rings and it's the salon. When I answer they tell me that the stylist is sick and they can only accommodate me at a later time. A later time COULD have worked if they had given me more than a 3 MINUTE NOTICE that my appt wasn't happening. Again I understand sick happens but if this person was already on their way to the Dr you knew more than 3 mins ahead of time. Ultimately you cannot trust this place if you're making an appt for an occasion.
