Then, I go shopping at Trader Joe's, which is five minutes away. When finished at TJ's, I pick-up my items from Fast Fix and head home. Hiyun and Sam, the owners, are wonderful people. Yes, I know their names as I've been there many times and have had very nice conversations with them. They are very helpful, kind, friendly and are excellent at what they do. I would highly recommend visiting Fast Fix for your jewelry and watch needs. I really can't understand some of the other reviews, though everyone's individual experience is of course unique unto them. As well, some folks are just simply hard to deal with, or perhaps unreasonable, we all know people like this. I would suggest to be clear with what your needs are and what you are looking to have done, upfront. And you should ask for a price as well before any work is to be done, I always do. Or perhaps, as A.W. mentioned in their review below, folks aren't aware that this is a franchise operation and they may be leaving their review for the wrong location. I don't know, can't say. Within a year, the structural integrity of the work failed: the seam where the ring was cut is now visibly open and physically sharp to the touch. This is a clear case of improper fusing or the use of inferior solder--platinum should be seamlessly welded, not left with a failing joint. When I reached out to resolve this, they admitted the repair would cost over $500 and offered a measly 15% discount. It is predatory to charge $60 to remove a piece of my platinum, then demand over $500 to fix a seam that shouldn't have failed in the first place. I expected this company to stand behind their benchwork, but instead, they are trying to profit off their own technical error. I no longer trust them with my jewelry and suggest others look elsewhere for quality platinum work.

I researched where to go to get my batteries replaced here in Bay Ridge and found nice reviews for Global. I brought two watches to start with to ensure good battery replacement. I met with Elad who quickly repaired the batteries at reasonable cost. Additionally, I returned to sell some gold pieces that didn't fit and some I just don't wear and again was given great prices for selling. Global also sells jewelry such as some Tiffany pieces and other lovely gems.
